Based on my personal experience, this restaurant appears to be fraudulent.

When placing an order, they don't show the menu and rates upfront. Instead, after finishing the meal, they present a menu with rates that are higher than what was initially suggested.

This experience does not reflect the value for the money spent.

This place was amazing. The food was fantastic and the people were so kind. The environment was a 10/10. Would highly suggest coming here!

Very poor cuisine and a depressing attitude. 100% business people, will change a regular dish we order into a special dish without even letting us know how much it will cost. They have a colourful items but taste is the worst

Over priced very local food, sea food chattichor is utter waste, no salt in every dishes and tasteless

Worst. One of the worst restaurant i have ever visit. They charging for nothing the presentation is good but the quality so poor. The items they preparing is not fresh at all. If you are health conscious you should avoid these types of restaurants. You might attract to it with seeing the review and rating but you will realise the actual thing after having the food at this. Stay healthy and stay safe.

Cheat me the price. Biriyani+chicken65+grape juice 140+150+100. You see the price in menu is different

A must visit restaurant with amazing traditional food and friendly service by the staff there.

I had a scrumptious fish meal with so many varieties of fish for my lunch. It was absolutely awesome. Visitors to Kochi - don't miss this restaurant.

Samudra sadhya with all possible fish and sea food combinations was out of the world. Bought an awesome grape juice too

Overall cleanliness and the presentation of the food could be improved. The food I ordered didn't seem to have been prepared on the spot and was lukewarm.

Considering this, prices however are very reasonable and the cold drinks are nice.

Very tasty dishes. A good place for seafood lovers. Ootupura is a must visit place if you come to Kochi. Customer service will treat you well. SAMUDRA SADHYA is my favorite. ️

It's a small shack like place with amazing and authentic food. It's a budget friendly place. If one is looking for Kerala cuisine in fort kochi, this place is a must visit.

I tried Chattichoru. Looking great, taste was good, my friends tried normal Sadya, Samudra Sadya and Biriyani. That was good. Biriyani we got limited quantity. Then services are good. As per my opinion we can go one time. If you ask me will you visit again. I prefer another option. Ambience ️

It's fabulous food and the owner's whole family is in the kitchen making traditional dishes that are at the verge of extinction in Kerala! I absolutely recommend!

Our tuktuk driver suggested this place when we asked for home cooked meal and this place was incredible. Every sea food lover must visit and have the Fish Sadya. The Sadya had - Squid, Prawns, Shells, Crabs, Fried Anchovies, Prawn pickle, Fried White Snapper, Rice, Sambar, Vegetable, Papad, Salad, Payassam.
All this for a reasonable price too. Must visit.

Friendly owner Niyasikka.had grilled fish. Good ambience. Easily accessible. Tea was tasty even lemon tea also. Bamboo based theme. Good privacy.

After reading so much good reviews, visited this place with family. Ordered samudra sadhya (Special sea food combo meals serving in Banana leaf). The menu items are perfect for a sea food meal. However it's good cool in photo, but in reality the taste was not even touched average standards. Really disappointing experience. For the price of ₹350, we expect some good quality of food.
Asking rice for second time, waiter politely said, rice is finished.after 5 mins he brings little rice which was not cooked properly. It was really embarrassing moment during a family outing.
There is enough side dishes are there, and no rice to eat.

Banana leaf adds extra flavor of expectations

Cons:
No tasty food.
Found one fly in side dish (may be fly trap not working on particular day, see the pic)
Rice was finished and still they taken the order.
(If said before placing order, we will adjust with some other options like porotta Or breads)
Masala felt more raw than cook (see from. Pic itself)

This review is purely based on my personal experience. Maybe something wrong happened on that particular day. Try your self for true experience. But dont take chance if it's with your family or on a special occasion

Very limited veg options.
Biryani - okay but not good.
Price - affordable
Alot of seafood and chicken options.
Outside seating good design but inside is just fine.

The service is not so great as it takes so much time to get served, and the food is average, not many options for veg.

Chatti chooru fish is a must try. Crab cooked really well, freshly fried fish. Octopus was a pleasant surprise. Chicken dum biryani was watery, it was alright. Chatti chooru is what you order!

Biriyani here was a total disaster. Meat in beef biriyani was not cooked well. Taste wise very disappointing.even the fish in fish biriyani was not fresh

We didn't have much but the food wasn't that great.
They couldn't get our order right but they cancelled whatever was not so it's okay.

Lot of mosquitos were there even though we had a separate seating.
