I saw Ranthal Restaurant's ads on social media, so I always had a thought to try it out. I ordered Chicken Biryani there. The chicken tasted good, but the rice was overcooked. Price was a bit high for what they have offered.
Plus, there was a weird smell, and it didn't seem very clean. I wasn't happy with my experience, and I won't be going back.
Worst Hyderabadi biriyani I ever had. I’m still confusing about that how a restaurant can give these type of poor dish? They mixed the rice with large quantity of onion pieces and the over amount of cow ghee, the taste was ultimately bad. I personally recommend everyone to don’t try their Hyderabadi biriyani.
Today I went there to buy porotta, they despatched the 7 porottas (140Rs) after 15 min waiting at there, actually I was happy to wait, but product what i received is not even worth for 10Rs.really pathetic product with high price.
I'm editting my review that I wrote some years ago. The management changed and with that the whole restaurant changed. Now it's just a fraction of what it used to be. I'm sorry I'm really disappointed by the change it went through. Maybe great for some people but not for me and my family.
Over priced. I dont understand their reason for hike in dish prices. Even pure veg/chineese/continental restaurant dos'nt cost this much. Quantity also less. Not recommended for budget customers.
Portion and quality dont match with the exorbitant price. There are many better restaurants who serve good food at reasonable price. I stopped ordering from this restaurant.
A bit overpriced as we only had 2 watermelon and one apple juice and it cost more than 200rs total. What i did not like was that the item served had no justification for the price. Since it was just like any other fruit juice you get from an ordinary juice stall. Dont know about the other items in the food menu. The ambience of the place was nice though. The behaviour of the staff was also good. Have to give you that. The 3 stars are for those pros
Horrible experience. Ordered mutton bone soup, instead got some "leftover" bones in corn flour batter. Later, ordered porotta and chilly beef. Porotta was ok. Chilly beef was very salty (the beef, not the gravy). The gravy was basically tomato sauce. I didn't find it chilly at all. Told the waiter about both. She said only we had complaints, other customers didn't have any. She took the curry and came back with another curry with more tomato sauce. We were fed up. We paid 400rs for this horrible food. We told the manager about the same for which he replied "You should complain. Only then will we know" without any regrets for serving us such horrible food.
Only went there because we had given our car for tyre balancing close by, regretted the decision once the food came.biriyani is probably one of the worst you will find in Thrissur.porotta was pretty good.we tried the Thai chicken.was too sweet and didn't have anything to do with Thai cuisine.we also had beef chilly dry which was pretty average as well.service is nothing to write home about either
I had fruity exotica CB.which was ohkay. Exploring is great but when u have all fruit salad nd biriyani rice is a big no. Pineapple pieces, apple, pomegranate, grapes etc mixed with Biriyani rice.
This restaurant is situated near Chunkam on Thrissur- Vatanappilly State highway, close to Ayyanthole. They serve a variety of tasty dishes. All the items served are very tasty, and the rates are moderate. The only suggestion that I can make is on attendant's promptness in serving food.
Good service, multi Cuisine restaurant, good ambience and tasty food. I had chicken Tikka and was very satisfied for getting that real Tandoor taste, which you dont find in most of the restaurants in kerala. Chicken kadai, butter nan also good, most of the cooks are from nepal, and you wont be disappointed
Trissur is not that famous for food hubs. But Ranthal is exceptional. The Naadan taste with good ambience will fill your heart n tummy. Nice pathiri Puttu beef n black coffee was awesome combination. Squid onion fry s devine.
After seeing many good reviews visited this place, it was a mistake we ordered karimeen tawa fry, kada fry, neymeen masala.and buffet lunch ofcourse (veg and non veg) its not worth driving so far to here.
Food is really tastes good but time for getting the order on to the table is very high. Affordable price range. Parking is also available but a little conjusted
Excellent Service with quality food. Our group consist of 11 family members who had Non Veg Buffet Lunch at Ranthal. Recommended to all who like to have variety of dishes at affordable rates. Special Thanks to Mr. Prasad, Guest Relation Manager who arranged everything within short span of time:)
