Raga Residency - Budget Hotel

I have booked Single Non AC room of worth Rs 800 (Including GST). Room was just ok in hygiene and the shower was leaked. The fan is not properly placed and needed to maintain the entire room in terms of appearance as well.
May be the better price for the room is INR 500-600.

Recommended for short stay. Just 3kms to Railway station. Spacious a/c room. Staffs are friendly and responsive.

It is of the good lodge in kayankulam. Room service is good and economical. But it was away from main city by one km

Oh my god, I never recommend such places to anyone. Not even worth it for free. Stable could be better than this

We had checked in by 10pm. Rooms were not cleaned. Water wasn't supplied. We had to wait for quite some time.

Very class feel but not having cleaning and service. Comparing with the price they are charging its very bad in all sector. Good parking is the only positive.

I’m so disappointed that I had to give a one star. I wish to give zero,! I had booked 2 rooms via agoda for my parents mentioning the check in time (1.30am) and the receptionist said that there is no booking even after showing them the ID. They asked money if u want the room and and that to a higher amount. Never go here. (condition of rooms, please don’t ask?)

Rooms are too small. Very uncomfortable bed. There is no room service. They will not serve tooth paste or tooth brush. Only one bathtowel for two people and it was very unhygenic. If you need any food you have to travel a long distance from the hotel.

We have took an AC room.power went for 2 mins only.i contacted the number given by make my trip.the person who lifted the phone politely told that if government doesnot provide electricity they won't be able to provide service.in my case power went for only 2 mins.but if we book the hotel and due to any reason if power fails, the customers are doomed.my suggestion is that kindly arrange for a generator or other alternatives for overcoming the issues

As said, a budget hotel.
The rooms are small, not very clean. The toilet is somehow manageable.

Carry your own towels however as there's are way too filthy.

Should be even cheaper by a hundred bucks, I'd say.

The service men over there are ridiculous and there is no respect while speaking with the customers

Good And Clean also but one thing that i was disappointed that is only pillows are provided with bed no single blanket are provided.

Hygiene level is very low.and staffs are staring me like a animal. Nobody will be there in reception (they called RECEPTION but it’s look like nothing). If we request them to get new blankets or bedsheet, doesn’t have.they answered directly. No manners too.don’t go here anymore.money worst.better go footpath.you can feel free air with good ambiance.

Budget hotel in Kayamkulam working with limited staff. Can't expect too much, it's ok for one or two day stay.

Stinking bathroom in ac room.too much loud noise from next rooms.i will not reccomends this hotel to anyone.

Worst, unhygienic and undisciplined staff. For family stay is hell. The rooms are full of cockroaches, lizards and spiders

I went with family after booking on Make my trip on this hotel. When we step in there were 2 people at the reception desk and the way they look like sales people in market. They were not following covid-19 protocols. Not wearing masks and they didn't keep sanitiser for the people stepping in. The hotel staffs were two north Indian guys and their way of talking and behaviour is rude. I went to see the rooms and it was horrible and not hygiene at all. Saw some girls wandering in the passage area, some of them are sitting on the floor. Overall it feels like entering a whoring area.

House keeping, room cleaners, room attendender availability, hospitality and other facilities are very poor. Their web site says lot of facilities but in fact nothing, example- Wify etc.

Bad service, there is only one mirror light only in the room with lot of fused bulbs also the bed swiches and lamps are for show, other room voices can here in our room, leaking on bathroom, No hot water in AC rooms, bed is pathetic and if u need backpain just sleep one day on it. The bed size is single bed size and double room rent. To get more rooms they reduced double room size to single bedroom space. Totally worst experience. Staff is not available when u r on need. Checkout they will not tell you even no receipt of advance but when u pay they will tell u that 11 am check out not 24 hours so that they can Rob u. What a hotel

The hotel hesitate to provide room.
Later in the midnight, the power went off for couple of hours. When informed reception in person, the power was switched on

I stayed there two days ago.
The bed sheets were not washed properly.
Even a bed cofee is not served.
Songs played loudly around 5 am in the morning.
Exact rent not conveyed on arrival.
The staff not at all friendly.
Not suggested for family.

Worst, very arrogant people at front desk and will give rooms to only their people and they treat you really bad.giving a 1 star because zero is not an option. Not good for families. Very sketchy place

Bad Customer service. No bill as printer not working. When I asked take bill printout from outside, the person, who handling reception got angry with me. Such bad service I never seen before.

The rooms though budget friendly are definitely not family friendly. I had to walk away midnight from staying here. Though I should have expected it from the budget tag in name I didn't get the feeling from other reviews. There is a Bar downstairs which I am assuming is the major source of patrons here. The stench of alcohol and cigarette smell is everywhere inside the room.

A perfect place to stay within the budget, a single room costed me half the price of what other rooms would provide and the cleanliness maintained was of good standard. The underground parking facility has ample space to accommodate both cars and bikes

I got a nice deal price in agoda.com.i got a nice neat and clean room.the washroom is also neat and clean.however there is problem of mosquitoes.if you are looking forward to book this hotel room consider a mosquito repellant in hand.its located in city centre hub.so everything is easily accessible within a short distance of you want to buy anything.hotel has food and drinks corner.i highly recommend this place.

Rooms are pathetic but compared to other local lodges price are responsible and moderately clean

Good atmosphere especially the "Tamil man " at counter was very friendly, i got non Ac room for 700 rupees, they was at oyo so the cleanes was there, 1* was not given because not given towels and blankets

Good location. Walkable distance to bus stations and 5min drive to Kayamkulam JN Railway Station.

Lack cleanliness and stingy pillow. No shower, no water heater, no peephole for door etc. Electricity goes off now and then.

Budget rooms available there. Good maintenance, And good service, lot of rooms here, don't search other lodge, this is the best lodge of the surrounding.we are 50 people's stayed a night, price to compare other then cheap.

Very nice hotel at affordable price. I stayed for two days and the experience was good. Good service by staffs and good facilities available. But there was some unpleasant smell in room if the windows are shut.

It's a very unassuming hotel, looks basic from the outside, but the rooms are good. Probably the best place to stay when one comes to Kayamkulam. This hotel is just opposite the girl's school, 5 minutes walk from the KSRTC bus station and also the private bus station. Rooms are equipped with AC and can be turned on if needed. Full time staff stays there. The room is a little small, but comfortable and clean and modern. For food, just walk towards town, and many food places can be found there. Staff members are friendly and helpful.
