One of my all time favourites! Nothing can beat this ghee rice chicken combo especially when you get to have the rice with that masala it’s just pure bliss
Ordered online some chicken fry and I received some rotten bones which are meant to be served for dogs and raw/uncooked chappatis! Worst restaurant in Kochi. Restaurant is not ready to accept their mistake and he’s saying you should eat that waste. I’m going to complaint to the government, such restaurants should close down! I didn’t touch this food waste and kept it here as a proof for the complaint to be lodged.
No idea why people are giving such positive reviews about the food. The lime juice was THE WORST. The overpriced fried chicken is not better than your average thattukada chicken that you get for one-third the price.
Kethel's is exceptionally good, its been one my favourite dishes since 2016. Had multiple dinning and takeaways from Kaloor store as well as this store.
However, on 13/07/2023 at 08.00pm the old lazy guy at the counter has a pathetic attitude. Been waiting at the counter for so long to place an order and this guy is just noting down only online orders, not even bother to get my tale away even after me asking multiple times. And he is mentioning that he single handedly cannot take everyones order, but the finny fact is I was the only on there to place an order. Such lethargic and rude attitude spoils the entire experience. Food highly recommend
To be honest, i will not recommend this restaurant to any one. Portions are not worth for the money and the dishes are too spicy that no other tastes can be sensed. Their parking facility in front of the restaurant has space for 2-3 cars only
Very unique dishes served year the chicken prepared is very very nice basically the winner chicken that is special breed and is very tender at age. Once in a life time dish to be had by any food lover
I was a frequent visitor. This was a good restaurant before lockdown. Now the quantity of chicken they serve is less. Chappathi is less cooked sometimes when served in bulk. They started to charge for lime water which was free. Price rates are high. Ghee rice they serve is of less quality. Overall can be visited once in a year or less than that.
2021 November review The uimited lemon juice serving has ended with the entry of COVID. Now a days they charge Rs. 60 approx for a bottle of lemon juice. Anyone who have watched the veteran actor "Thilakan" chettan's Kaattukuthira will understand the concept of giving spicy food. Not recommended for kids and anyone who is not comfortable with extreme spicy food.
2018 review Great place. Spicy food. Unlimited lemon juice. Limited menu - chick oil fired in chilly, chappathi and biriyani rice. Abience & wash area are good. Staffs need to be more attentive.
Almost before gave 4 star for this restaurant, but now it s feeling very bad food. Chewy Chicken jst like 'boiled' in oil nd with chilly flakes. Before, There was lime water to soothen tounge as free nd now it s chargeable per bottle.
Kethel chicken was a good dish but they don't provide much options for a dine out. You'll have to go there only to have kethels chicken. But that thing was super awesome and spicy. Not good for those who don't like spiciness. I haven't had the appam or chapati combination. But the nechoru was a good combination for that kethels chicken. As I was having kaada kozhi for first time, I don't know to compare it with different dishes with kaada chicken.

Kethel's Chicken doesn't fall into any normal category of kerala chicken preparation. It's a kind of chicken fry using young chicken with lot of chilli flakes. Even though the chicken is covered in chilli flakes, its not that spicy. Chicken Gheerice combo is the best. Their signature lemon drink (don't expect lemon juice) is the best accompaniment for this.
Lovely place for Kethels chicken fry. Small chicken fry garnished with red chilly flakes. Delicious dishes and they specialise in the above dish. A must visit for tasty Kethels chicken fry with small thava rotis.
Ambience is great, food too. The legend is that the chicken served here is fed only with corn and is free from chemicals. Let the owners clarify this or let it be a mystery. Any ways chicken here tastes different. I was offered a taste of Kethels by my foodie friend Shino lal. Last but not least we loved the endless supply (compliment) of lemon juice supplied with a dash of malabar hospitality. Happy. Value for money.
The items provided are of a good variety with one of a kind taste when compared to the other competitors. But the pricing is too high with the service offered which makes this place mostly a once in a life time visit for most. With the differentiation in th type of food offered, this place could have been a great choice visit if the items were priced in a more reasonable rates. Too disappointed.
Very spicy chicken fry. What i got bad experience was the chappathi they gave was not cooked enough, i asked back to cook. Reported on front desk and the next time i got the same experience, they didn't cooked enough, ridiculous experience from such a popular restaurant.
Here you won't get confused with never ending menu.come have fried chicken and chicken gravy along with chappathi or ghee rice.the fried chicken is really spicy.unlimited lemon juice is an added benefit.nice place to hangout with friends and family.
I have been a big fan of their chicken fry, ghee rice and the lime since a long time. However the recent experience was not so interesting with less quantity and the new price point.
You love varieties and you wanna taste chicklets fry, come to this place. The dish and the service are excellent. The only thing is that there are only 2 combos as menu.
Rehmaniya. A one spot for special trivandrum Kethal chicken. The chicken and rice /chapati combo is exceptional. The main highlight is they only serve few items but all A one. The food is tasty and makes you come back for more. Good atmosphere. Good parking, good service.
You can go to this restaurant if you have the patience to wait for 1 hour for the order to be delivered. We went there today at around 10: 30 pm and ordered food and even after 35 mins the food hadn't arrived. Then we asked the hotel staff how much more time we would have to wait, then he said the food would arrive soon. Then we waited for 10 more mins and got fed up and asked the bearer if the food would be delivered anytime soon and his reply was appalling. He said in an arrogant and rough manner if we couldn't see the number of customers in the hotel. We didn't speak a word and walked off. These guys give more importance to online orders. We could see a family next to our table getting fed up of waiting and eating the pickles kept on the table. They won't tell u beforehand that u will have to wait for at least half an hour to get the order delivered. They don't value ur time at all. Their food may be good cos that's what most people say, but this was our experience with this hotel.

We ordered dinner (the same item) and waited for about 1 hour.when asked about it the staff was rude saying that everyone else is waiting, can't you see it.they were behaving very badly and we left after 1 hour of waiting and without food. Never had such an experience.also the hotel is not maintained properly, there was food waste on table and washrooms were not clean.the ambience and the staff is such a disappointment that you wouldn't even feel like eating even if the food served is good. Would never recommend it to anyone.
Liked the ghee rice and chicken combo. Along with ghee rice, a plate of chicken fry and chicken curry, pappad and pickle are served. Also, they serve unlimited juice along with the food. The other alternative is to choose chapatti instead of ghee rice. Menu is limited but what they serve is good. A place for lovers! Ambience is ok.
Excellent food. The tender chicken fry is unique. Good staff and well managed. The only negative thing is that they don't have parking facility. Vehicles find it difficult to park in roadside.
Visited Rahmaniya after a long period on Xmas day. Restaurant was very crowded and had to wait for more than half an hour to get seated. After that again 30+ minutes for getting food. We felt the service was very slow it might be due to, they were not able to handle that much people on a busy day.
Regarding the food it was exceptional like everyday. My relatives was trying this for the first time. They all loved it very much.
One more point is they need to have someone to assist for parking. They have decent parking space, but since its not managed well, we might end up in parking on roadside.

The kethel chicken met all the expectations I had about this Place. Really a good place and good ambience. The staff were also good. The highlight was kethel chicken and ghee rice combo served along with lemonade. Yummy. I know its mouth watering. Really loved it
