I came to know abt this hospital because of dr abby philips, but my experience was very disappointing with the telemedicine, please appoint drs who has patience, my exp with dr rosh varghese was not good, he didnt listen to my concerns properly, he is always in hurry:/, the way dr abby talks about the hospital on twitter, i didnt feel the same about it

​My name is Divya, we are in a very bad condition due to my sister's treatment in a private hospital in Thrissur.
Came here, now there is a good change after starting the treatment here. It's like a new birth for those who have lost hope in life, this is the first time in my life that I have seen such a good hospital and staff, may it always be the same.

Health check up was done today and doctor prescribed medicine Teneligliptin-20mg for the treatment of diabetes. But the medicine given from pharmacy was Telma-20mg (Telmisartan-20mg) which is used for the treatment of high BP. DELIVERING WRONG
MEDICINE IS A SERIOUS
OFFENCE. Going to hospital from my place for replacing the medicine is not beneficial.

I (unnikrishnan) had came for treatment at Rajagiri hospital for followup treatment. During the visit, from the parking area someone had stolen my Helmet. I reported the incident to the Hospital security, CCTV operatives and other related staffs over there. The response and sudden actions they took for me was appreciatable. They found out the one who took the helmet with the help of CCTV camera. 0 ratings I would give. I had very bad experience with the gynaecology dept.in the year 2018.currently my parents also faced really very very bad and disappointing experience with Rajagiri hospital. My parents happened to visit hospital for allergic issues for my dad and thyroid problem for my mom.when my dad met the Dermatologist, he didn't even look at my dad's face, he didn't even bother to ask about the allergic issue. The doctor right away asked to do blood test and prescribed some medicines and told my dad after 15 days just give a video call. No need to directly meet the doctor. Similarly my mom was asked to do some check up.they waited from 9am to 4.30 pm and finally they said it can't be done today. Also my parents travelled about 150kms to reach this hospital. I will never ever suggest this hospital to any of my friends or relatives.

I underwent liver transplantation at Rajagiri hospital on the 22 nd of June, 2023.
For me, it was a risky one as i was suffering from Interstitial lung disease.
The operation was successfully conducted by a team of doctors under the leadership of Dr Ramachandran Narayana Menon.
The support given by the Anaesthesia team of doctors were also highly appreciable. Aftercare in the ICU was also great. After discharge, every one of my medical needs were met on the spot through whatsapp messages by Dr
Ramachandran.
Now i am progressing well.
Dr Ramachandran is one among the best liver transplant specialist surgeons in the country.
When compared with some of the other major hospitals in kerala the hospital bill of Rajagiri hospital is affordable to the common man. This is based on the feedback i received from some friends who had also undergone liver transplants in those hospitals.
My daughter was the donor. She is also recovering well.

I went for a heath check up and it was a nice experience. Everything was well organised, Only issue I felt is the lift was too busy and there was no social distancing in the lift.

I underwent my liver transplant surgery on october 19,2021. By god's grace, me and my daughter (donor) is recovering well from the surgery. I would like to thank all the staffs who cared us from our admission to discharge? I was admitted in Rajagiri hospital due to severe stomach pain. Taking this opportunity to thank Gastroenterology department for there well care and quick curing treatment. They have seperate insurance desk they will inform us about our insurance reimbursement and payment details. The food from the canteen is also good.

We will not the appointment on time sometimes. We have to wait for minimum of 2 hours for consulting doctors even we have got specific time slot. The lift will not go to every floor that's a bit irritating.

Today I took my sister to hospital since she was facing fatigue, Tightness in chest and neck. They didnt allow to admit in casualty since they have patients in queue. Though It may be any reason but when some one with this symptoms comes a responsible hospital should consider patient with this condition. If it would have been a heart probs will they be able to revert if anything happens.

She is admitted to renai and they have diagnosed it's a cardiac arrest and she is undergoing treatment. Do I still need beleive filling out the form would make any difference.

Overall experience was good.well organised investigations, clean and safe areas and friendly staff.

Suggestions such as providing proper privacy for both male and female patients during X Ray, ECG etc.

DO NOT do a test from this hospital. Abysmal. They won't share the report and if you call them, you will be running around in circles. IRRESPONSIBLE. I missed my flight because of their delay. Also, why would I want a result after 24hours? But obviously, they don't care!

Good doctors + infrastructure, is getting better each year. But worst administrative quality is getting lower every year. It doesn't matter you get a time slot from online booking and arrive 1hr early still won't get to see doctor atleast 30 to 45 minutes after alloted time. Observations from last 3 years with atleast one visit every 6 months with several family members seeing doctors across most departments cardio, gynec, general physician, paedeatric, onco, ENT, gastro, urology and surgey among those I can quickly recall. Time management runs in a parallel world in this hospital absolutely zero respect for patients time. Payment/Receipt management at every department reception is the sloppiest. Pharmacy has more counters thn employees. Hospital has an EHR system but still forces patients with a paper payment receipt for every visit and activity, unnecessarily creating crowds around reception areas. Queues at Labs, Sample Collection, Pharmacy can be easily avoided by effective manager of patient flow and administration. As a medical professional with 2 decades health IT experience was extremely frustrated, but pointless as Indians are used to much worse Indian Government health system which are even worse than this

No proper management of OP patients and only you will see the token system to collect the bills and in for pharmacy.

Good gynaec department with experienced doctors.the charges for delivery are reasonable for the facilities and service.but after that they will put baby in NICU and make up for it.be ready to spend 70000 to 1.5 lakhs for NICU treatment.totally non transparent in NICU treatment.

Hospital have a very good infrastructure. Strategically located in Aluva- Perumbavoor Road (Private Bus Root).
Amble Car Park, Need and Tidy Canteen are some of the added points.

I called many times to the booking number from 9am to 10am this morning and no one was responding to it. This is not my first experience.

Really bad time management. Made me wait for hours to consult the doctor. They asked me to come by 12.30 and I waited for 4 hours to see the doctor.

Just visited for travel covid test. But as per then service closed.

Very bad experience from nurses side. It was good, bt now its very bad. We have some expectations from rajagiri hospital (nursing care).

Front line staff is a bit slow, prepare to wait when you go there. In pharmacy also you have to wait for an hour and a half atleast. Doctors are friendly as in any other private expensive hospitals. Be prepaired to spend 15-20% extra more than that of its counterparts in the district.

I took my second dose of covid vaccine from Rajagiri hospital. It wasn't crowded for vaccination. But they made us wait for about an hour to get it done. Staffs are good. Hospital is having huge parking space, parking and vaccination area is very far away.

Waited for around 20 minutes in phone for booking an appointment. One lady attended the call and asked me to hold on line. Nobody attended the call even after 20 minutes.

Very bad nursing care. It was good, but now very bad. Negligence experienced from nurses.
Poor infection control practices, especially while taking cultures. They are not aware about reassessment.

It's one of the best super speciality hospital in kerala.

One of the best hospitals in Kerala. Dr Balagopal Nair has done a very nice job. Cleanest hospital. Superb facilities. Supporting staff is excellent. Except one nurse, named Deepa, who is careless. She needs councelling. Room service is excellent, Canteen the cleanest.

Horrible experience today. Waiting for 3 hours to meet the Cardio Dr in a reception full of people. Complete lack of responsibility during CORONA pandemic.

Very bad experience due to the two points. Due to covid restrictions, visitors are not allowed. Hence during discharge my old mother asked the security personal for help to move the lugguage from 5th floor to ground floor. They ignored and told this facility is not there in hospital. The insurance team is not forwarding the details to the insurance company on time. Hence cashless is not possible. This is the second time we faced this issue.

Admitted my mother for more than 10 days. They can't even diagnose the disease & Discharged with a huge bill.
Pure business

Rajagiri hospital multi speciality hospital owned and managed by CM I father's in Aluva. I had visited this hospital several ocation in srveral times and i found that nursing care unit was not up to the mark. It is because the patient and nursing staff ratio is not sufficient. The cleaning staff do there duty well. The can teen mess is very expensive and the food is not tasty.

Good facilities and parking space. But they do not give any value to patient's time. For doctor consultation, after booking they asked to come at 2 PM and I had to wait till 4: 30 PM to see the doctor. Some doctors are very nice and describe everything very well. But there are some doctors who are arrogant, do not care to explain the cause or why they prescribe certain tests.

Hope it helps those distressed by ACL tear and can't play their dream game.

My right knee ACL was fully torn in 1998 while playing football. It was operated in 2007, after which I did not feel the leg to be as strong as before, despite strength building exercises. The knee was painful too. Left knee ACL was partially torn in 2017 while playing volleyball. I consulted Dr. Murukan of Rajagiri.

PROCEDURE: -
-Admitted on 23rd December, 2020.
-Surgery was on 24th, on both knees.
-started walking with a walker on the 2nd day
-Plaster was cut on the 2nd day
-Got discharged on the 4th day.

Good hospital in an easily accessible location. They have well-qualified doctors available in all the departments. Good parking facilities are available. The international desk is available for patients from other countries. You can book the appointment with a call to the hospital. They also offer radiology services at the premises.

I had a real bad experience, got my 74 year old mom to an ent for a hearing problem, event after having an appointment at 9 am, the doctor arrived only by 10, and we got to see him by 10.30, he then saw us for 5 minutes and referred us to various other tests, just a waste of time, they will make you roam around the hospital and see other doctors, and make you pay bills, just a money making business, be prepared to spend the whole day at the hospital being referred to various other doctors, avoid this hospital is my advice.

Very good staff, well maintained room. I was diagnosed with fallopian tubal blockage and underwent hysterolaproscopy under Dr. V. P. Paily. I was recommended to visit him by my relative. He explained my issue, cleared all my doubts patiently. By the hysterolaproscopy procedure we got to know that my left fallopian tube does not have a problem and I have chance of conceiving naturally. All the nursing and cleaning staff were supporting and caring.

1. Excellent Doctors. I had gone for a surgery. It was completed without any complications. No unnecessary tests etc.were recommended. Everything was handled very professionally. I feel very confident in their medical expertise.
2. Food served by the F&B department is very good. However, internal coordination of taking orders can be improved.
3. About the health insurance desk, the relevant information on how much cost will be covered by insurance was provided accurately. However, being an in-network hospital, the cost should be better covered.
4. Cleaning staff is very diligent. All facilities are cleaned thoroughly.
5. Nursing staff is very professional and provide the necessary care.
6. There are adequate car parking spaces

Overall a very good hospital, just some improvements can make it perfect.

Worst Hospital.the Doctors try to Communicate you but they will not tell you right thing. They try to misguide you and try to mint money by reffering you to maximum number of departments. According to my medical Reports I were having Thyroid and due to which having regular headache and Legpain which is very common symptoms of Thyroid but they reffered me to Gastrology, psychiatrist, Nerology and Opthalmology department. Finally they continue to give me psychiatric Medicine without any improvement without any psychiatric symptoms. After investigating my Medical Reports I found my TSH level were high and which cause me Headache and Legpain due to Hypothyroid. Then I change my hospital and gone to Aster Medicity Kochi. After checking my Medical reports the clearly got the reason of my problem and gave me Thyroid Medicine. And within a week I started to feel normal. For same thing Rajagiri take my 5 months precious time and gave me hazardous Psychiatric medicine without any relevance. My UHID no.were 20300091 at Rajagiri Hospital.

Great multispeciality hospital. Very caring for all patients.especially admitted patients. Well internationally experienced doctors.highly covid mesures are taken in the entrance but in the indoor counters social distancing are quiet not managed. But also a great multispeciality hospital and very good for emergency cases 24×7
