This boat is very clean and beautiful. Upper deck is very spacious. Staff members (Vishakha, Manikuttan and Appukuttin) are very kind and helpful. Food is also great. Amazing experience

We had the most memorable time from start to finish with the best crew: Samju, Appokoton and Sunil who prepared delicious food and snacks.

Such a relaxing way to spend time with friends ~ really was a perfect trip.

Rajahamasam Houseboat ️

Upper deck chairs are very comfy. Chef is good, very tasty food! They have a nice berth location, provided you manage to convince the captain to reverse in the boat so the seating area would be facing the lake and not the jungle while wedged between two other boats. (Took us a very unfortunate hour that involved a call to the owner.) General cleanliness is not their forte (including dirty bed linen, towels and crockery). The water from the tab and shower was not more than a trickle.

We had visited Rajahamsam Houseboat on 25th Jan with a family of 5 adults and 2 kids.

Pros -
1. Specious houseboat with upper deck, A/C in dinning area and rooms.
2. Clean and tidy houseboat
3. Food - Very good and tasty food and in fact they took care of every single request we made during the day. They also made extra snacks in the evening for us on request.
4. Staff was very friendly and supportive throughout the day.

Location - Kumarakom itself is very beautiful place to visit specially for backwater.

Few points to note -
1. In Kumarakom area, your houseboats can mainly cruise in the main lake area and you may feel bored seeing the similar view for 3-4 hours.
In fact it would be better if we could have cruised (we did for half an hour on request) in canal areas and smaller lakes where the original beauty comes out of Kerala backwater. You would see houses built near the lake and their main transport mode is boat.

Overall it was a nice trip with Rajahamsam houseboat. I would recommend this to everyone for sure.
