Had a 2 day stay through CM membership. Situated on banks of back water in Punnamada Alleppey. The staffs were very courteous and service was good

Great stay at Ramada Alleppey. Enjoyed the houseboat cruiser they had organised. I would recommend the stay to al.

The experience is average. The property is old and needs serious maintenance.

The room was just average and it needs a revamp.

I tried to book it directly by calling Ramada’s reservation desk, but the rates they quoted were very higher that what other Travel portals offered. It sounded they were not keen to book via them directly.

Food was also average for dinner. They made the menu for the group booking customers, which was more vegetarian with less options.

The Location is great, and I would like to come again, if the property gets renovated.

All over experience is good.
The staff is very supportive and food is amazing.
The morning buffet is good and they have customised food for us as per our requirement

The hotel facilities such are very nice. Most luxurious and food and breakfast are very nice.

Location and room view is terrific!
Premium tariff, but offers amazing sea view from most rooms.
Has access to a private, much quieter beach than the popular Kovallam beach (which is still just 5mins walking)

If you are in Alleppey then this is a hotel you should consider. Actual attraction is house boat but if you considering a hotel in Allepey then this is it. They also have their house boats which you can book and stay in which gives you the peace of mind that you’ll be served the best food at any given time on the boat. The service here was second to none and their food was just exquisite. The view from the room I’ve posted and it feels delightful to wake up to that. They even have a boat ride on offer if you are in prefer staying in hotel room which takes you around the backwater for a ride and you can enjoy the blissful nature you are already surrounded in. Have a safe stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Bad hotel, bad room service, rooms never got cleaned. Looked like some one came in started cleaning had a change of mind and left half way through. Was overbooked and could not even attend to all the guests. We were promised that they would bring our bags in 5 minutes. Kept waiting just did not show. Finally we came down for dinner and had to take our bags up ourselves, the staff did not even bother that's how bad the hotel staff were

Not a good experience and will not vouch for friends and known as there are lot many other places which complies the standards.

Horrible experience - Power went off during night for multiple times.msg from reception that "already escalated to maintenance"
3rd floor is completely not functional due to power issues.

Entrance - not pleasing as we had to wait for someone to take the luggage so that can park the vehicle

Parking - No issues as its spacious accommodating big cars

Rooms - photos attached as may get response that only premium

Lunch on Cruise - on worth the money for food, better to take the local ones outside.

Dinner - worth the money as it had commendable spreads.

Wash Rooms - not good to be commended- stuffs that of previous inmates still left in washrooms

First time lil weird experience from a branded, reputed hotel as felt the service doesn't pay much attention to basics.

No hot water, Cable tv not very clear, losing contectivity frequently, better menu required for breakfast, door locks not maintained properly

Terrible staff.totally untrained, zero hospitality, and no courtesy. Dingy rooms, with lizards, dropping curtains. The lady at reception does not even smile. Waiters in restaurant cannot even give cutlery. Worst experience and am pretty sure management would not even consider this message. Blame the management for such bad hospitality. It was our last visit to any Wyndhyam property in India. Horrible

Good Hotel near to Punnmada.
View from the room was amazing.
They do have pool and Gym and these are accessible right now.
Room facilities are ok.
Breakfast was not much good and it was like continental type.
They could have added more local food since this is a tourist place

Excellent view of the backwaters from Lake view rooms. Great food, warm hospitality. Rooms were kept very clean.

STAY ANYWHERE BUT DON'T STAY AT THIS SO CALLED 5 STAR HOTEL. WORST HOUSE BOAT EXPERIENCE EVER. Zero for Hospitality, Zero for service and Zero for taste of food and worst of all, if you complain to them about all this then they will say that and i quote "if we would have taken advance from you then you would not have complained about the services" This was said by chef augustine to one of you relative who was travelling with us. I was staying at the house I'm attaching photos and videos of the condition of the house boat. These photos were taken when we checked-in.

Good experience. The hotel itself is great. Food is brilliant and the ambiance of the hotel is great. The only thing that can be improved is the rooms. The quality of the rooms doesn’t justify the price we paid.

Amazing experience including a fantastic view facing the lake. The rooms were extremely clean and food was super tasty. Overall a great experience. Only drawback was the strength of wifi signal.

Peaceful place for busy people to make time for themselves, family trip suggested, nature lovers can truly experience the backwaters along with a bunch of swans, others birds, must try Alleppey special meen fish.

One of the best hotels in alappuzha, near the starting point of Nehru trophy boat race. And the well known Vembanad -punnamada backwaters. It was 4star hotel serving the top standards

Wow. Best experience. Top and no 1 bar in alappuzha. Very neat and clean environments also the staffs are good on service. The bar is 300 meter away from alappuzha town. The best thing is this hotel is in the side of punnamada lake. Athe view from this hotels top floor is nice and exelent.

The room was stinky, wood work rotten with Water. Wallpaper tearing apart, entire wooden floor was making noise. We made a complaint and what they did sprayed room freshner.
This hotel doesn't match the 5star rating.

It is awesome experience to stay in the hotel and premium facilities is given beyond our expectations.

We stayed in room no #510.room service was very nice. All staff were very nice. Expecially Ms. Priya and Mr. Edwin. Overall experience excellent. Definitely we will com back soon.

Located vey near to finishing point (main boat house starting point). So we choose this place. Rated as 5 star hotel. But I don’t see 5 start service here.
The lady at reception said they will give premium room (7k) at the price of budget room (4.5k) since less occupancy and showed us the room.room was good with nice lake view, hot water, centralised ac.
In one of the booking website price was vey less 3.2k. She said if we book online then they would give budget room not premium room.after some bargain she agreed to give premium room even if i book online.finally got the room.
It has swimming pool. Maintained not up to mark to the 5-start hotel.
In house food is very very expensive.
Room Keyless entry was not working many times.
No Fan in room only AC.
Hot water doesn’t come quickly. Need to wait for some time.
Over all suggestion you can stay but dont expect 5-star quality.

Good Hotel. The room was good. Very good view of the vembanayad lake. The pool could be kept cleaner. Order cheese sandwich.wch was very good.although the breakfast buffet has a good vareiry.nothing really had taste. Otherwise it's good for a short stay.

Came for a function, even washroom facilities was bare minimum. Defintely not a place to host function with guests. Food was below average. Not sure how it is 5 star hotel, any 3star hotel would have better facilities

2. The room was not well maintained It was full of dust.
3. The bottle of water provided in the room were of different taste.
4. The complimentary milk packets
they provided at the room were expired.

Its a okay place to stay at alapuzha. Has acess to backwater and boating. Room though luxurious have become old and needs reinovation. Has a restaurant and ample parking space, swimming pool, hall.

Very poor quality overall.
1. The rooms were spacious but doesn't look luxurious as is expected at this price point. 2. Bathrooms were not clean. Had to call the room service upon check in. (Which is irritating after a long journey)
3. No toothbrush or toothpaste or shaving kit is provided.
4. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working. So there was foul smell in the bathroom when we checked in.
5. The ceiling mounted rain shower is a disaster. It leaks and looks like cheap.
6. In the suit room, the plug to drain the water in the bath tub was stuck.
7. Lots of delay at the Restaurant on the ground floor. However breakfast was ok.
8. Even the coffee cups kept inside the bedroom were not cleaned. (Unbelievable considering the Hotel's rating) I have attached pictures I took on check in as proof.
9. The big glass windows and doors that gives the scenic view of the lake is full dirty.
10. The water provided at the hotel is not sealed mineral water but mostly filtered water in glass bottles with reusable lids. Not satisfied with the quality of water either.
11. A picture of the menu book kept in the suit room is given below. Look how dirty the menu book is, that too in a suit room.
12. The rooms doesn't have a ceiling fan. There is only AC which appears to be dusty as I started sneezing from the moment I turned it on.
13. What's more irritating is that there is only one plug point to charge your gadgets. Yes just one and in the suit room it was loosly connected and the phone wasn't charging.
14. Limited parking when the hotel is full.
15. Service and response time is mostly good. No issues here.

Despite lots of investment in infrastructure, the hotel has least bothered about its maintenance. The house keeping department needs serious training/motivation. They should rise upto the guests expectations given the premium they charge. Attention to detail is almost nil. A combination of several minor irritants results in spoiling the overall experience. Hope they take note of the above.

Excellent property, highly supportive and friendly staff. Good rooms, nice ambience and excellent food. Nice for stay, pwrsonal and business functions.

Had taken rooms in Ramada Alleppy and my experience was terrible. Made a mistake spending my hard earned Rs 13K in this 5 star hotel for one night. Even a Rs 600 lodge in Alleppy would offer more customer service than this hotel. We got the Worst quality rooms. Front desk staff was indifferent. Poor response to requests. Damp smell from walls. Poor WIFI. No Cold water in shower. No complimentary breakfast. Even if we pay for the same, other than idly and dosa they don't have any other options. The food we ordered was horrible. We had to re-order from swiggy but the staff didn't let them in. Not sure why they are wasting such a prime location with a below average hotel with 3rd class service!

The property is wonderful, the location is amazing and is equipped with great facilities but it needs to be more maintained, the furniture is old and the systems are not well maintained.

It was the worst experience in our life.the service was not good at all and the wall were broken the bed had a lot of dust the water they gave to drink had small small particles. And the food was not good and there is no place explore so we had to stay in the room for the 2 days. I will rate it as a 3 strar Hotle only the loby is only the good place in the whole hotel

We had a great time at Ramada Alleppey. We had gone for lunch and had also booked a Shikara ride for 2 hrs. The experience was great. Talking about the food, we had ordered fish hariyali tikka for starters which was amazing and Murg Handi, Dal Makhani and Parotta as Main course. Everything was made fresh and the staff had taken hygiene and safety measures.

Worst hotel experience. Reluctant hospitality. AC not working in first room given to us. Took a lot of unpleasant scolding to get them to accomodate us in another room. No hot water in the morning even after reporting to the house keeping department. Finally we checked out the next morning even though we had room booked for 3 days. Since it was booked through Club Mahindra, it was already paid for. Still we left the next day due to the overall unpleasant experience.

Nice place for kids n family.clean n neat outdoor pool.easy for boating, the main attraction of Alleppey. Onam sadya was average.altogether good

Amazing Stay! Loved the spacious and clean room, the staff was very polite and helpful. The view of the lake was amazing, the food was also tasty. Really loved the stay and i am planning to revisit.

I mean this is the best choice for best accommodation in Alappuzha if you find out anything better than this atmosphere, I don’t think so, very polite staff, best services, so much good ambiance with beautiful stunning view of backwaters, this place is so much perfect for couples and best honeymoon trips, thank you ramada

I spent a day at Ramada and the experience was amazing. The hospitality was on point with excellent service and food was amazing. I must take out his name - Mr. Praveen, he made sure I was comfortable throughout the time. It was beautiful and definitely work with a view kind of day.

Still the best in Alapuzha. The lake facing rooms. The China Town Bar on the top floor serves good Chinese snacks. Good ambience.

I had very high expectations before booking and it was shattered after the stay for 1 night. The only positive was the scenic location and its close proximity to backwaters. You will have a great view of the backwaters from the room. The service was poor and horrible. The room was dirty and it was not up to the standards. Most fittings inside the room was old and nothing is maintained well. The breakfast buffet had limited dishes and the taste was not up to the mark. Overall, Its not a value for money hotel and I hope they will rectify everything.

We had a wonderful time ️. It's so comfortable and private. They offer a vibrant menu especially for dinner. Prior to lockdown they had pool and recreational facilities.

Courteous staff. On request rooms can be upgraded. In dine services is not that expensive. Rooms are clean and tidy.

It was our extra ordinary stay at Ramada Alleppey which will be remembered tour in our mind. All the staff members in hotel were very supporting they guided all our enquiries. The front desk helped us a lot to find nearby visiting places.
Overall our stay was remarkable.

Very courteous staff but highly overpriced and mediocre setup.

If there's anything that made our trip to the place memorable, it's the staff. Courteous and smiling and ever willing to help, they made up for the otherwise lackluster setup.

The facilities are perhaps a tad below three star, though they claim it to be five stars. The prices are insanely high and the quality of facilities, be the room, the lunch / dinner options, entertainment facilities is barely moderate. The spa wasn't that great and I felt it overpriced as well.

The view from the room overlooking the backwaters is very nice. The pool is surprisingly very well maintained and didn't smell of chlorine.

Well planned rooms with good food. But the service was a little bad as the previous guests did not check out on time which cause chaos for the guests who were going to check-in

It's supposed to be a newer hotel.but looks quite dated. I attended an event at one of the smaller conference halls. Was small and compact and getting WiFi seemed like a big hassle, we just gave up. Bathrooms were dated and had mould. I expected much more definetly.

As a person that went with a 16 member family, it was a resort that accommodated a lot of families and did it well. However, the food wasnt that good and the facilities, except for the swimming pool werent that great. The service however, especially in dining section were extremely kind and hospitable. I definitely reccomend the sunset boat thing. Overall it was a memorable family vacation.

An international chain hotel looking a bit tired, but the staff are incredible. Everything was clean and the food was well prepared. Probably the best place to stay in this area as an international traveller

Its a new year eve and i am waiting here for last 1hr for food with my whole family. Spending all the bucks at this place is a waste of money and time.

We arrived at this hotel to find the rooms to be in poor condition. The room smelled mouldy as if it never really dried out properly inbetween visits. The bathrooms were old and not maintained or cleaned to a satisfactory standard (we found the fecal matter of the previous tenant still on the toilet seat). We found stains on the bedcovers and on the chairs. No rubbish bin for the room, stained towels and no soap provided. It took us 2 hours to reach Alleppey and the room was so disapointing that we had something to eat and promptly left and went back to Cochin without staying at the hotel. This hotel should not be considered a 5 star hotel and I believe advertising it as such is very deceptive and deceitful. If I could give it no stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Nice semi resort type hotel to stay in Allepey with swimming pool, games facilities, good service assisted with extra bed in room. Breakfast buffet had variety of South Indian and sweet english bread table. Houseboat available directly lake adjoining the hotel. Has bakery, spices shop in front.

It is simply a wow destination for any tourist who likes to spend few days in the lap of beauty of Kerela, the God’s Country. Well laid design and rooms are amazing. Services are good and one can find oneself in the tranquality of nature sublime here. Must stay here for fee days if you can afford it.

My review is based on the booking experience I had at Ramada Alleppey for a function.
I had booked a hall at Ramada Alleppey for a function in August. The first advance payment was made in early July and the second payment was made on the first week of August. The function couldn't happen because of the floods. Since the end of August I have been asking about the refund of the advance I had paid. They gave different deadlines, end of September, mid of October, end of October, first week of November and the last deadline for repayment was given on 19 November 2018. I still haven't received the money. They have asked me to submit the proof multiple times and I have done it at least three times by now.
A terrible experience and definitely a harassment from their side.

Strategically located on backwaters and with direct connect to the boats. However, rooms are not up to the mark with the standards of a 5 star. Could have been better maintained.

This place is a joke. No way it can be called a five star. The floor in room has cracks, AC takes ages to cool the room, toilet stinks like a roadside loo

The stay was pleasant and comfortable. Situated close to the backwaters gave a warm experience. Ramada is close to the bus station and easily accesible to other modes of transport. The service provide was good and prompt.

A very pleasant stay. You get a personalised & prompt response to ur requirements. The staff is courteous & attend to you with a smile. The dining at the 'Tea Room' is an excellent experience. Ramada gives u value for ur money.

We didn't stay in this hotel. But we went to the restaurant of this hotel. We stayed at trium hotel. The food of this hotel was amazing. We had buffet. And it included malabar cuisine and north Indian cuisine too.

Very Good service. Lake view is morning gift. Good services by staff. Honest and sincere staff. Fishing and boating are great fun. All access to fun and enjoyment. Very good restaurant and food.
