Located on the opposite side of the vegetable market at munnar town. Very tasty and quality food at reasonable price. Service also appreciate. The main drawback is that no parking slot is available in front of the restaurant but we should consider the shop is located at very busy street.
Was walking by and never thought the experience would be this Awesome. Finger-biting delicious food with outstanding service. I was on a trip to Munnar and if I am going to Munnar anytime in the future I would never eat at any other place other than this.
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE ESPECIALLY FOREIGNERS
Probably its been 15 years ago the last time i had Rapsy’s pineapple chicken biryani when I visited my grandparents house. It is one of my best food experience till date.
Very poor quality food.i had a biriyani from this resturant which was not like the real biriyani and my stomach was ruined due to the same food.i wont recomment this resturant
Some years back I used this restaurant for lunch and dinner Frankly telling it's really ruined my day It's was too crowded in that time it's was ok most of all good restaurant are always crowded but that one are decently managing the customers and arranging food properly In here they were not caring about the customer the staffs they were treating as like we just go there for free food from their Once we order two plate means after a long wait they arranged one plate and the other one may need to wait some more time
Went here in 2019 for lunch. Delicious and filling food, price is quite on cheaper side, clean, comfortable ambience, courteous staff. Definitely visit again if I could visit Munnar again.
An above average non vegetarian restaurant in Munnar. Price is reasonable. Parking area is not available. We parked our car near Eastend 3 star hotel which is around 300 mts from Rapsy restaurant
The restaurant is tiny. We got it luckly. Cause their food is good and also have lot's of variety. Behaviour of the staffs are very polite and friendly.
Non vegiterians delight I guess.the place is very popular amongst the tourists, but unfortunately, for us, did not turn out to be a delight. The food (veg) did not turn out to be delight and we were a little disappointed.partially because our 2.5 yr old was getting cranky.and partially with the food. It was all very affordable though. We ended up paying 300 rs for the food we ordered and didn't eat.a lot of appreciation notes from foreigners could be seen on the walls, but to us what matters is good vegeterian food, which is the prime reason behind the ratings
It is a very famous restaurant in Munnar Town. One of our usual places as we pass through the time and we have some time to wait. As it is situated in Center of the town on the main road side parking it is a bit problem, so you have to find a parking somewhere park the vehicle and walk back to the restaurant will be the better option. Regarding food it is the best in this area and in comparatively fare price point. It is very famous for its biriyanis which will become out of stock very soon. Chicken biriyani is one of the best dishes with a mild masala in an adequate quantity along with well prepared and melt in the mouth chicken pieces served along with salad, raita and pickle. Usually it is will be busy and there will be a chance out small wait. Eventhough we have to wait for a while the wait will be worth for the price, quality and quantity of the food. They also serves lot of others items such as chappathi, porotta and have vegetarian items as well which are also good. Their service is also very remarkable, once we get seated, supplier will come to us and will take the orders very quickly and supply the food without much wait. Services are very fast and good enough. Sometimes suppliers didn't notice you been seated unless they search for a vacant table. In such case, do let the staff know that you are not addressed by a supplier for the order. This is not a usual story that happens which will only happen in case when too much busy. Once they notice you they will serve you very quickly without any delay.
One of the best restaurant in munnar. Welcome for everyone including international tourists. Food was also good compared to other hotels nearby. Both veg and non veg is available. Not over priced food items. Food quality was worth it. Parking might be little bit difficult because its in centre of town.
We chose this place as per the recommendation of our resort manager. It was a good choice. The fish and chicken dishes were ok. The children liked the Biryani
I had egg curry and porotta for breakfast. This is the worst egg curry i ever had in my life. Porotta was average. Tea was average. Tourists coming to Munnar will have the wrong idea of south indian cusine coming here.
Good food. Good price. Poor hygiene. Very crowded. Hard to get seat. There will be someone starring at you to grab your seat. Street parking only, depends on luck you will get it near or farther. I would suggest to take away if you are a family with kids or large groups as you cannot enjoy the good food dining at this place. But it’s must eat in munnar.
Very good restaurant. Inexpensive, hygienic and serves very tasty food. Do try parotta and beef fry when you are there. But, the hotel is small in size and there is no parking or toilets available.
One of the must visit restaurant if you are in Munnar. We ordered some plain rice, chicken curry, Kerala parota, biryani, beef fry and chicken fry.
Parota and beef fry was a good combination. We loved the biryani with the chicken gravy served with it. Biryani was a little sweet due to added raisins. In general authentic biryani in kerala is always little on the sweet side.
Must try: Kerala parota and any gravy of choice. Biryani and the chicken gravy.
Clean and well priced restaurant. Staff are friendly. The food is extremely delicious. We ate here a couple times. The beef fry, beef 65, and pepper chicken are the best we've had in Kerala. Make sure to try the appam, idyappam, and poratta while you are there! Fresh juice is also delicious.
