We are laborers working in Regal Cinemas East Hill Kozhikode and we are working there since 27-03-2017. We were told that when we join the job, we will get salary of Rs. 10000 after 3 months, permanent appointment, provident fund and salary through ESI bank account. There were more than 23 employees. Only 2 employees before us are getting favors. When you ask the management about this, they say it is not happening and walk away. Working hours 9: 00 am to 6: 00 pm one shift and 5: 00 pm to 2: 00 pm next shift. If new movies come, there will be a special show and overtime work will be given for 30 rupees per hour. Every year the salary will be increased to 500,250 and so on. If you ask for favors now, they will say that you are on a contract basis and will leave whenever you want. When going to work, you write your name in a notebook, then there is a register book and a punching machine, there are only a few people in it, so that it is not recorded, we do not use it now, but we do not keep any of our documents there. Bring the print and sign it and give the money in hand. There are many people who quit their jobs in the name of favours. So now there are only 15 employees. There are 3 screens and slave labor is now being done with less workers. Kindly request that we get the favors that the workers deserve. If we know about the complaint, it will affect our work. It is hoped that the complaint will be accepted and action will be taken.

Good theatre. Clean and well managed. English cinemas are usually empty so ull find yourself with an empty theatre.

One of the good theatre in Kozhikode. It have 3 screens. Great Sound Quality and good screen. The snack item prices are affordable. Limited Car Parking Facilities and charges included.

The ticket price is 200inr.its too much for average theatre like Regal. The parking inside the theatre also charges extra. In simple worda this theatre is just a place which charges a lot and fails to give anything for that.

Seats & theatre are cozy & neat. Newly renovated therefore the maintenance as of now if good. Very few such good theatres in a small city like Calicut.

I can't believe this place used to sell tickets for 50Rs. They improved a lot since. Still not worth the price they sell tickets for, now. Too costly.

Good parking space.
Cons; screens are not that good.with 4k screen and Dolby Atmos it can become a lot better.

Frankly one of the worst theaters in calicut, when it is considered to be a premium theatre in calicut. It may look all fancy from the outside, but a proper pig sty inside. Unclean everytime i have come here. Charge premium rates and they have the most hilarious parking system in which you have to pay to park within the compound. Fleecing the public. The only positives are there are no holes in the screen and there are those fancy led lit squares on the ceiling and sides of the theatre.

Pocket friendly theatre with extremly good cleanliness and service. The food provided here is also of good quality and tasty. The sound quality and screen gives us a very good experience. There are 3 screens over here

Even though Regal theatre is outside the Calicut city the ticket rate is very high compare to other places.
The facility here is not good especially a few speakers on the wall disturbing the view to the screen.
Restroom not maintained well also the rate of food inside the theater is very high, ofcourse outside food not allowed.

Regal Cinemas is one of the very few number of multiplex cinema theatres in Calicut. The theatre has 3 screens in total to run multiple movies at a time. The experience was average according to me.
I'll start with the cons,
1. The Cleanliness in the theatre is not so great.
2. The waiting area has only a few sofas and others have to stand and wait for the movie screens to open.
The pros are,
1. The Parking in the theatre is spacious
2. The Parking staff are really helpful
3. All screens have 4K setup
4. Great Snacks and Beverages (Non Alcoholic).
Other than the cons, "watching the movie" experience is pretty great so do visit this theatre

Facilities are not worth as per the ticket rate. Parking fee should not be collected. We paid such a high ticket rates and again asking for parking fee which is not acceptable.

Very good theatre with 3 screens. Decent pricing. Sometimes there are parking issues. They are managing. Good cult family

One of the best multiplexes in kozhikode. They have ample parking space. The cinema hall is good. Neat and clean. Big screen and comfortable seats. The food is also good with reasonable price.

Over all a good cinema theater, runs regional, Bollywood and Hollywood movies with a decent sound system.

Super experience as ever. Ever since this theatre was modified, its really a mind blowing experience to watch any movie here. Top class in cleanliness and ambience.

Nice air conditioning, sound system, seating and washrooms. They're the good things i felt about the place. The cinema halls are pretty small and the screen too, which is a disturbing drawback. Ticket prices are reasonably high. There is, but not enough parking space for four wheelers.

Regal cinema theatre is a pn of the good theatre in this occasion. It is more functional than other theatre and is included in platinum range. All seats are good and provide 6D silbi atmos sound quality. Also the sound streams are more sharp and pure. The are well defined sound proof shake and remote led display.
