Receptionist who took my call yesterday was heartless and rude, change his asap, people who call with broken heart need to be dealt carefully.

The nurses at brachy therapy are verbally abusing patients during their treatment. I think management needs to give proper training to nurses on how to deal with cancer patients.most of them are depressed due to nurses behaviour.
Even for small queries, the reply from nurses are very harsh…

My career in hospitality has been the worst experience to date. No appropriate answer from the doctor or staff nurse. People, please refrain from traveling to other states.kandipa kasta patuvenka apti pona neka

Extremely Disappointed with Appointment Scheduling

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the appointment scheduling at RCC Hospital Trivandrum. My wife has been receiving treatment at this hospital, and our recent experience with the receptionist has been frustrating and disheartening.

During my wife's last visit to RCC Hospital in August 2023, we approached the receptionist to schedule the next appointment. To our shock, the receptionist scheduled the appointment for February 2024, which was an astonishing wait of six months. This is completely unacceptable and has left us feeling helpless and anxious about my wife's ongoing medical condition.

In a healthcare facility, timely appointments are of paramount importance, and it is the responsibility of the staff, especially the receptionist, to ensure that patients receive the care they need when they need it. Scheduling an appointment six months in advance, when my wife was right there in August 2023, is a clear failure in providing adequate and efficient healthcare service.

I strongly urge RCC Hospital Trivandrum to review and improve its appointment scheduling process, ensuring that patients are not subjected to such unacceptable delays. The receptionist's role is pivotal in this, and they should be trained to prioritize patients' needs and manage appointment schedules more efficiently.

Our experience with the receptionist has left a bitter taste in our mouths, and we hope that this review serves as feedback for RCC Hospital to rectify such glaring issues in their service. Patients should not have to endure such frustrating and inconvenient scheduling practices when seeking medical care.

In conclusion, we are extremely disappointed with the appointment scheduling at RCC Hospital Trivandrum, specifically with the receptionist who scheduled an appointment for February 2024 when my wife visited in August 2023. Immediate improvements are needed to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care.

Only thing this hospital offers is cheap death. I lost my father due to their arrogance and superiority complex. I respected this hospital and doctors but I lost my father. Dr. Sugeeth mt- please introspect and listen to patients cry for help. Even after repeatedly requesting you didn't listen. Now who will take responsibility for my father's death? How do I recover from this loss.

Don't waste your time to come here
If the patient in stage 3 or 4 no admission,
They will waste your one day and tell you to get treatment in local hospital other wise your in early stage you can come here. I'm disappointed because one day before I'm came here and investigated by all the information and report I have.they told me bring the patient first and it's waste of travel and risk for my father.

Visited RCC for my mother's treatment.all the process were smooth.only thing is they won't allow more than 1person.that becomes very difficult as we have to go to different sections of building for tests.cash counter and so on
. If additional one person is allowed it will be great as things would be smoother otherwise one bystander will get stressed out after running everywhere.overall neat.helpful staffs.

That idiot security did not allow me to take a photo and made me delete the photo I have taken of the outside building of Rcc. If it is really prohibited, then there should be a board that says it's not allowed, not asking to delete after it is taken, which is really unpleasant. Small minded people like this should be removed from this position.

Rcc is better when compared to other government hospital. But don't expect friendly behaviour from the staff, they show the power of their employment. The canteen inside rcc is very helpful and the rate is affordable.

Doctors and Nurses r very good especially ent ongolagist Dr elezabtha and ansthesia team they r doing excelent job i will never forget them but some security staff r very pathetic behaviour

Well managed hospital. Non medical staffs are the best i ever came across. Absolutely happy the way in which the docs are putting effort in every cases.

Neat and clean hospital. You will get free meal outside during lunch time which is a blessing for many. Staff is really considerate of patients and bystanders. Good fecilities and expert doctors

It's one of the best cancer research center in trivandrum. You get all facilities out here. You get to consult the best doctors. They have all latest medical infrastructure to treat cancer patients.

Rcc they are getting very late treatment for my mother.cancer is not easy go treatment that's risk for life so. Experienced should be.don't put medical students.they don't knw nothing they are not playing kid study their body. Rcc is mostly used for study the cancer they are using thz hspl 100%. As patients of you and take care should raise your voice against them. Don't keep quit ask more more qustn to doctor then only they will response.some staff are very rude they won't be kind no humanity also there thz is cancer hospital you should be humanity and humble coz that much patients are suffering from inner and outer. Pathetic doctors, staffs and also delayed treatment. If you take your close ones there you will definitely loss them. Due to there careless treatment I lost my mom. I dont know y people are suggest here. Based on recommendation the treatment process become fast. Private hospitals are much better than RCC.

RCC is one of the best hospital for cancer patients. The most worse thing about this disease is that it kills us mentally due to the heavy expense one had to meet for its treatment.
But here, for those who are having a ration card that indicates that they are below poverty line, then they get free treatment which is a very great relief for the patient and his family.
Other financial schemes are also available, for which one has to wait for their turn, fill out the necessary forms and submit, which may take time too. But still its worth compared to the otherwise heavy expense
The doctors and the staff are very kind to the poor and illiterate and have seen explaining them in detail about their condition and how and what all steps they need to take.
Though it takes a long time for the registration process, for the new comers, it's worth waiting as the amount compared to the other hospitals and RCC has a huge difference.
I personally recommend this hospital as the bestest one for Ca patients, based on my own experience and observation.

Pathetic doctors and pathetic hospital. They are killing patients by waiting time, every month i take my mom for checkup with a months prior appointment, we have to wait for 4 to 5 hours just to see the doctor. Doctors come around 11 am, very rude doctors and staff, do not respond to the patients concern. My mom was all fine before but after the radiation her right side is slowly getting paralysed. Not everyone will have enough money to go to private hospitals and that's why they come to govt hospitals but the RCC ppl are not doing their duty, very disappointed with their behaviour.

If you are rich then go to us or uk for best and advanced treatment like our CM did (HE HAVE MONEY SO HE OPTED FOREIGN TREATMENT WITH THE POOR PEOPLE MONEY) RCC is for poor people like us not for treatment just for painful death

Delayed Treatment. Arrogant responses from clerical staffs.paid for the Lab investigations including biopsy, but no Idea about the reports.private hospitals are way better. If we question them, their answer is "this is the way we do it, and everyone follow that". Your method is pretty wrong. I think this hospital is surviving with the emotion of poor patiens. I will never again visit this and recommend to my known fellows

The Regional Cancer Center (RCC) at Thiruvananthapuram is a Cancer care hospital and Research Center. India's one of the best cancer care treatments center. It is located in the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Campus. It is a tertiary care center for the managements of all types of cancer. May God bless

Doctors and other support staff are much experienced and very caring towards all patients. I would recommend this hospital as one of the best cancer hospitals in India. My mother is a multiple myeloma patient and Dr. Geetha and her team members really have done awesome service and now she is able to walk and be independent. Thanks to your wonderful service. When I was studying B. Sc MRT I had been posted in the department of radiation oncology of RCC. It was very pleasure to do posting in the radiation oncology department. Newly specialised Linear accelerators such as Varian Clinac 600, Clinac ix, elekta Synergy and precise machines are available for the cancer treatment.

Best cancer treatment you can get in trivandrum, probably in whole of south India. But I feel hospital is a bit understaffed and the doctors to patient ratio is not so good. If you dont personally know any staffs, you will surely get marooned over there regardless of which part of India you are from. Anyways even with all those efforts my father passed away, Cancer is no match to the actual dreadful treatment, psychological pressure for the family and the later financial crunch we have to go through.

I am a radiology student. We are trained in RCC for learn about Radiotherapy. There treatment method and patient care was excellent and we learned more about cancer and Radiotherapy. I enjoyed that clinical training days
