The most worst waiting ever. For Dr Gireesh Parthan (endocrinology). And the nurse assisting him is even more pathetic. Jus to show a diabetic report for a discharged patient had to wait for more than 45min. Upon insisting the staff nirse that my father is in cardiology dept waiting for me, nurse did not bother and made me wait. When tried to book appointment for doctor 2days back i was asked to do a walkin as its only for report. When informed the same to nurse she is like we should come before 9.30am for the same. Patients who came to show report to doctor before 9.30 was still waiting. This is harrassment. Revisiting doctors in Renai hospital will only happen if you have all the time in the world. Hosp management is jus mute in such cases. Writing this report today from hospital.

Nursing supervisor Madam Philomina used to come everyday and supervise things and take corrective action with all pleasure.
Room service and canteen management was really good.

We were there in hospital for 39 days. I had wonderful experience with Renai NICU department. I felt that Very well experienced doctors and nurses. Hygienic NICU. Special appreciation to the NICU nurses for their dedicated service. Only draw back I felt was with Nursing service in IP department. They seems always busy.

General surgeon (Mabel Perera) is not a professional person. Not recommended at all. If we ask qns regarding the wound she says she dont know and she is not a detective to know what is it. There is no problem in saying that but there is a nicer way to tell that to the patient.

My uncle was treated in Renai medicity his liver and kidney was completely gone they were giving high dosage of medicines and in the end his lungs also affected by there careless treatment he was shifted to ventilator for many days bill.came to 13 lakhs. But he lost his life.this is not a curing hospital but a business. The canteen rates of food r very costly.please for God's sake don't ever visit this hospital if u want to live longer

A few doctors are well experienced. But spending 3-4 hrs to consult a Dr is horrible. Either their Software is outdated or they don't care about their patients. In reception, they don't have any idea, whether the Dr is available in OP or in operation room. Without checking they will issue OP ticket. If you accidentally ask any such questions, they will directly ask us to go to Dr's consulting room and check. Also they will not follow the tocken number.

One of the best hospitals in the district. The service provided by them is too good and the doctors are also doing a great job. Another highlight of the hospital is its cleanliness. The hospital is very clean and the toilets were also neat and clean. I would never say the hospital is congested but in a way, it's quite small but that is not at all an impediment as they are providing a class and quality service. I usually never do this. Rating a hospital or a doctor on Google. But I feel compelled to write this review. I visited Dr. Smitha Pratheesh as I was having some gynecological conditions. First off, I waited for at least 1.5 hours to meet the doctor. Once I met her she ordered some blood tests and an ultrasound. After seeing the results of the ultrasound the doctor started pushing me to take some pills that wouldn’t help in making my condition better. When I denied and asked her why I should take them if they didn’t help me she was offended. She offered no explanation for taking some random pills but blamed me for being uncooperative and questioning her medical acumen.

After the appointment I waited for many days and I still didn’t get my blood test results, that I knew that wouldn’t take these many days so I called the hospital and asked them why I didn’t have my test results yet. The staff answered that the blood test reports had been submitted to the doctor the very next day itself, I was shocked and demanded she email them to me ASAP. When I asked why I didn’t have the reports for so many days, she had a blanket excuse ready that their “system was down”. So a multi super speciality hospital had their system down for several days and nobody bothered to fix it?

I saw that the results were not normal (I had some hormonal imbalances) and required some medications. Dr. Pratheesh didn’t even bother to call me and ask me to take medications to fix those imbalances, I had to take those tests to a different doctor and get the medicines.

I understand that the doctor may have been busy, but what about her nurses and other administrative staff?

I also know of a case where the doctors couldn’t identify a serious condition that required immediate intervention and let the patient go home saying there was nothing to worry about.

Oh and I almost forgot to mention, their bathroom are filthy, they reek of urine and are wet and dirty. In these times when COVID and other diseases are still very much prevalent they don’t even keep a hand wash or hand sanitizer in their public bathrooms that patients use.

Please avoid this place and this doctor like the bubonic plague.

We will never forget the attention and assistance you gave us. Much obliged to you mam for delivering us a charming little pie on February 2023.

Went there for a full body check up. Totally chaotic. No coordination. They were so bad that we had to go there again the following day to finish the tests. Noone seem to care. (With the exception of one lady in front desk) Front desk has forgotten the art of smiling. Lab technicians struggle to take blood. Doctor in Ultrasound scan seems like he is angry with the whole world. We paid 39000 each which included breakfast and lunch and it was a shocker that they told us we can only have a thattu dosa priced at 45 rupees for the breakfast with the food coupon and not a plain dosa:). I even saw a client almost hitting the supplier in the cafe for being rude to him. I am not sure who is running this place but one thing is sure, they want to make sure the clients don't go back there again.

It has modern and excellent facilities. But many of the staff at Casualty are careless.

Went to Casualty with a friend with vomiting and stomach ache. The doctor at Casualty explained things exactly. Good manners. I was waiting outside as I was asked to stand outside by the bystander. It was said that there is no problem, once the drip is over, you can leave. The friend called from inside that the drip was finished. After a long time I did not see any call so I went inside and looked. The man lies down and shivers. I was scared. When I told the staff that I was shivering, they gave me a big blanket to cover me. The hand with the drip was under the blanket. It was only when I saw blood in the tube above the blanket that I realized the tremors. The staff removed the drip only after going and bringing it to their attention. Even after reaching the room, the shaking did not stop for a long time.

While I was waiting outside, their bystander was arguing about serious negligence on another patient in casualty. Something happened while transporting the patient for the test. Didn't quite understand.

In any case, when he left the hospital, he was not only not satisfied, but also bitterly resentful.

When I say everything, the fee seems to be too much.

Radiology Department not good.long cue in Radiology Reception.
Staff are very less in Radiology Department. Time consuming like Govt Hospitals.

Very poor customer service from pharmacy yesterday. The pharmacy billing executive don't know how to address a customer or behave to customer. I have been a renai customer for 6 years.not even a single staff have behaved like this before. Please don't recruit an executive with such scurrilous personality. Please provide proper training on customer service.

Poorly managed hospital. The crowd management is bad (the reception has people running around clueless), the Covid protocol is bad (no sanitisers at the reception or common points), the staff aren't helpful. Overall one of the worst hospitals I've been to. Never coming back.

<addition based on the response> the sanitiser dispensers were empty at the doctors station, only the one at the entrance was working. The reception/registration counter did not have sanitisers.

Plus - Good doctors, better rates compared to other hospitals, Staff behavior is decent
Cons - Parking (Please don't drive your own car to this hospital, Parking is really sad, they have few slots near to hospitals but most of the time its full. Else you need to park on road side and expect police tickets)

Met gynacologist a week back. I haven't booked prior
took booking directly from hospital.reached there at 8am and met doctor at 1pm. Also without proper consultation doctor gave as a negative talk and we both depressed due to we cannot ask more questions that we have at this stage.hence never going back to here.

Worst experience we had in Renai.
We lost our baby due to the carelessness of doctors and staff in labour room.
Our baby was a fully healthy baby and I also didn't had any complication.
Although we were consulting Dr. Indu, she was not there in labour room during the delivery time and junior doctors were doing the delivery.
They didn't take necessary actions at right time and I lost my baby heartbeat due to their lack of carelessness.
This is just an another case for them but it was our life.
We reported the matter to the hospital management but they also didn't respond.
Patient is not a priority for the hospital.
Money and hospital reputation is only important for them.
If u want your child alive please opt other hospital were you get more care and attention.
Please don't try your luck.

Renai hospital services and nursing care was awesome and extremely good but now it has changed.
Nursing services are becoming poor.
Management has to arrest this at the earliest

Good hospital with all the facilities. Paediatrician Dr Kishore is a good choice for both the child and parents.

Excellent levels of care and attention to detail from the Doctors, nursing staff & other support staff. I rarely give a 5 star rating, but even though the total expenses were a bit high for my liking, the hospital coped up with a service worth every penny spent.

Neuro physician Dr. Sureshkumar & Neurosurgeon Dr. Subramanian did a great job explaining the injury and working on it with the patient & his family.

I will never trust this place for mine or my loved ones life. My own experiences and my immediate friends who have suffered even a loss of their loved ones just because of sheer carelessness and arrogance by this hospital. I dont recommend anyone consulting there and trying their luck on their lives.

Their services are very nice and systematic.personally got surgeries and op consultations done multiple.multiple times.with comfort.

The place has one of the best infrastructures but the doctors there seemed very unprofessional. Waste of my money to visit the doctors there. I'd suggest checking out some other hospital which is cheaper and good.

Best in gynaecology. I delivered my baby girl on June 23rd. It was normal delivery all thanks to Dr. INDU B R and all the labour room staff, sister manju️. Their patience and experience is trustworthy. I am grateful to all doctors and staff who helped me through this. Thank you.

Reputed hospital in Cochin, with all specialities. Casualty section is always busy. Doctors and nurses and other health care workers are dedicated.
There are unhappy people also, might have had bitter experiences. But health is something which doctors cannot guarantee, one cannot keep them accountable for patients' life. Wilful negligence is something different.

Went for covid antigen test and waited for 20minutes for the results after 20mins they said to get the report i have to wait for another 1 hour and no social distancing is maintained.

Terrible service ever seen, fake crowd making, like there is another counter for screening patients with single staff, also they can't give even a mask, if you go for buy a mask they don't have change and they will ask for purchase minimum amount of 500 rupees, staff behaviour is too bad, also bystanders couldn't enter inside doctor's consulting room with patient

One of the best hospitals in Kerala. The treatment methodology and diagnosis of illness is excellent with the use of latest technology and coordination between competent doctors of various departments. This is truly a world class hospital. The hospital is hygienic and clean to the possible extend. The food served from canteen is healthy, tasty and economical. The charges at the hospital are reasonable. Had good experiences from doctors, nursing staff and non medical staff.

Long delivery delay caused blood clot and abnormal shape of baby head
I was admitted due to high BP and induced the next day. I also had gestational diabetes. My previous delivery was just 1.8 yrs before. Once i started to push i pleaded to call the doctor. But they told that the doctor was in OP and to wait. After a total 8 to 9 hrs labour the baby was born with large blood cloth on head. We took her to 2 other hospitals and she had to undergo multiple scans and xrays to confirm that there is no other issue in her head. She will have to undergo a tedious helmet therapy for correcting her head shape.
For a labour department delivering 100s of babies my baby was just another case. But to us she is sooo precious. It hurts me to see her undergo such pain due to the delivery delay

Iam glad to say that, Iam a former staff of this wonderful institution. Got vaccinated from here. Had a great experience. Everything is well maintained. They won't make any one wait. So safe and disciplined service during this pandemic rather than any other vaccination centres.

Endocrinology department is an absolute waste of time. Dr. Girish, doesn't bother to understand the case history and prescribes without proper concurrence with patient.

One of the good hospitals in Cochin. The staff is all caring and friendly. They have great nurses who is always helping to all queries. They have good doctors there for all your needs.

My wife has consulted Dr. Indu and she is a great doctor who take cares of you. There will be a lot of rush usually to see good doctors, but that is since they are good.

The hospital also allows online tel consulting now a days due to covid etc which is great.

The hospital is very easy to spot. It’s on the main road itself so you will not miss it.

Car parking is bit hard to get directly in the hospital compound. But they have many plots near by hospital for amble parking.

I was over there to test my husband for Covid and for myself to meet a doctor for my throat irritation as I was Covid positive. We ourself took all precautions to reach the hospital. First of all the car parking was almost a long distance away and we had to walk all long with this physical problems to reach back hospital.

We were directed to the casualty to do the payment for antigen test and we said, we are sure for being positive. They said us to sit along with some other patients/people over there and they called us after a 30 minutes. We entered a casualty room with 7 persons already there positive around 4.30 pm. They said us to sit on a chair along with others and said to wait. With all these physical problems we sat over there. Then, around 5 they called us for a X Ray. And after that at 5.30 they gave us the discharge sheet. Neither the antigen report or X Ray sheet report were given in hand. But, a bill of around 2200 was given. An extra of 300 was paid for antigen test too. PPE kit and gloves and our bed charges amounted to almost 1300 rupees. We weren't provided any bed, no separate PPE or gloves were worn by them, etc but the bill under the head was around 1300 rupees.

And when we asked them for our X Ray report, they said to pay 150 extra for that. When we asked to mail, they said they have no provision.

This is a problem seen only with RENAI. They business each of our emotions and difficulties.

Easy accessible hospital at Palarivattam, Kochi. Supportive staff and dedicated team members. Doctors are doing great job. Enough parking facility available.

Renai Medcity - Overall i was quite happy with doctors, nurses and all the staffs who had helped us during the period of stay. But, My wife was suppose to take a C section after tried for normal delivery, i thought they would take the charge for C Section and additional addups, but they came up with something called Emergency C sec which cost a fortune and very expensive than normal charge. I was shocked to see the bill at first and i was never told bout this emergency C sec. Renai was known for resonable charge and good service but this act had shattered my views. If i had known this, i would have gone for C sec at first and could have saved 60% of cash, during this pandemic people are going through financial crisis and hospitals like renai should be very transparent about thier billings before admission that helps them to take decisions upfront. All the lady staffs and the NICU nurses deserves a special shout out, they are too good at what they do, its more special, they are doing with care and love! Thanks for the good stay and help people more and you will grow more. Word out of mouth matters!

I have visited 2 months ago for my daughters vaccination and everything went well. I loved the way the staffs management during this pandemic. Really appreciate the grounds being directed each patients to their specific doctors which they were need to be consulted. Overall experience was good.

Terrible waiting time and no Covid protocol or distancing. People are waiting here sitting Anf standing. Totally crowded.

I have tried many times for tele consultations. They never pick up and almost always cuts the call. Due to covid, we resign to tele consulting but they do not attend our calls. What if it was an emergency? ! I would actually like to give one star review due to this reason but the services are good except for this.

A very good hospital, rather my family hospital. Glad that this institution is around the corner for us. A small suggestion to keep the air conditioners on especially at the first floor where there are too many patients. With zero ventilation, it becomes very irritating humidity to sit in the lobbies waiting for OP appointments. Thanks.

Ease of accessibility, cleanliness, availability of specialists in almost all branches of medicine are some of the advantages at the first glance. However the rates are on the higher end, huge waiting time both in OP as well as at pharmacy, lack of adequate non AC rooms are all their disadvantages.

Vaccination at renai was ease, staff was well mannered and well experienced as well as polite. The overall facilities provided was also really good. Thanks for making Vaccination process easy and good

This was my first time visiting Renai. Doctor was so great with advice. Support staffs behaviour was really rude. Really bad experience.

I've been availing the services of Renai for five years now and I'm happy to say that the quality of service in this hospital is on par if not better than most hospitals abroad. The staff are very welcoming with their distinctly authentic uniforms and the cleanliness within the premises is spot on.

Hospital's infrastructure and functioning is outstanding and doctors and their services is awesome.but nursing care and their behaviour was extremely rude and unsatisfied. Especially in casuality. So, I gave the rating one. It is not a single visit review, everytime I noticed the same.
