Meesapul (i) mala trekking starts from Rhodo Valley. After basic breakfast (bread + black tea) Off road Jeep folks are ready start to Rhodo Valley at 5: 15 am. Rhodo Valley Sunrise Point is around 1 km from Rhodo Valley parking. Below 10 degree temperature and strong wind is expected, hence preferably 0 degree tolerant jackets needed

It was amazing experience ever had. The sunset and sunrise from there is heavenly. Also the morning trek gives a fresh experience.

One of the best place to hike. You can watch memorable sun rise and sun set in the same place.

A very beautiful valley on the way towards Meeshapulimala. This area comes under the Kerala Forest Department. The valley looks different in different seasons, we went at the start of summer and the place looked very dry. The experience was very magical, we were surrounded by the forest and there is no connection to the outside world.

The booking process is very simple, get your slots on the KFDC Munnar website, do online payment and then get to the KFDC office on that day. Hire a jeep for ₹3000 and they will take you to the stay area and drop you back the next day after the trek.

The trek to Meeshapulimala is an out of the world experience. The views from the top are mind-blowing, the walks through the valley are very calming. This is a very refreshing experience

Located 8000 ft above sea level, this is the highest accomodation in all of South India.it serves as a base camp for a day trek to Meesapulimala summit which offers a breathtaking veiw of the sunrise from above the clouds. The journey to Rhodo valley via silent valley through the pictureque tea gardens is a lifetime of an experience.

The Must Visit Place In Munnar. If you guys planning to visit Munnar-Meesapulimala you can enjoy this place as well.great spot for trekking & enjoying.you can plan your trips from old munnar town.will cost you around 2000-3000 and it depends.

One of the greatest experiences of my life. Amazing initiative by KFDC. We stayed at Rhodo mansion and everything from the ride to the top, the food, the cottages was amazing. Would highly recommend.

God! Staying very close to nature that is what I felt when I was here. Got to experience alot and the journey to the hills was the best of all

It was really a wonderful experience staying in Rhodo Valley. You are isolated from the rest of the world. No network coverage. Pin drop silence every where. Feels like you are the only one in this planet.

Once you book your stay call the tourism facilitation centre at munnar and arrange your Jeep from munnar to rhodo valley.
Food and stay was good. Though I couldn't sleep coz of the extreme cold
Next day we started out trek to meesappulimala with our guide Noel. He was a pretty amazing person and the trek was superb too
It was a bit strenuous but you can definitely make it
The view from the peak was breath taking and the descent was truly enjoyable.

It's a jungle resort belonging to the forest department. A little over priced but we get excellent homely food. Base camp for the trekking to Meesapulimala. From there you start early in the morning for a 3 hour trekking to the second highest peak in th western ghats

Great experience and we trekked there with group of 30 peoples with KFDC Kerala forest development corporation Tourist guide, and it was a great stuff

Rhodo valley is one of the amazing place on the way to meesapulimala, Rhodo valley provides place to stay for the tourist people.

This place is really amazing. The top most point in kerala where humans are accomodated.

A place to sit and relax. A cozy and wonderful place. You can really feel the nature here.

Liked the stay in rhodo valley.pricing is on the higher side considering that only a normal cottage is offered with normal food.its not a luxurious one.stay and food was good.

Actually I felt so much connected with nature and we enjoyed each and every moment while we were there.that stay was astounishing i never experienced anything like that before.i think at least once in a lifetime visit is deserves this place. KFDC has secured this place with a forest officer at the top who will guide us to the trekking and accommodation arrangements done by the KFDC. And they will probably allow every group with a well-known person from the local to guide people to the famous Meeshapulimala peak and also he explained every places which comes in our to the destination.the nature must be preserved for future please dont do any other activities that pollutes the green forest be responsible to our national duty to protect forest from deforestation.

Loved the trekking! If you are visiting the place please carry some eatables and water (protein bar etc) to keep you energetic

Kerala Forest dept is doing a great job for nature lovers and trekkers. A nice play to stay and enjoy the beauty of nature.

A good place for weekend. Feeling great pleasure with the beauty of nature. Trekking was a great adventure and nature and fresh air gave the power to reach the destination. Must go again and again.

Awesome place. Saw red rhododendron (nepals national flower) flowers throughout the place.

A trekker'paradise. The trek to the highest trekkable hill Meesapulimala begins from here. There are options for staying here, of course at a premium. Enjoy Beautiful nature truncated only with the eucalyptus and other plantations of KFDC

It was a very good place. Specially the trekking and Meesapulima peak was mesmerizing. Guides were also helpful and friendly. However food and other services were below average for high price of Rs. 9000 for Sky cottage and Rs. 12000 f

Excellent place. If you are a keralite and if you are proud of it you should visiit0 ut to see sunrise it's better to book rhodo valley. Temperature will goes to subzero degree.
