Riverland Cruises Houseboats

My experience with River land service was awful.

1) On check In no one even said hello, no welcome drink nothing. I felt I was stranded there.
2) Struggled 45 minutes to connect with the TV. Set up is old, and not easy to figure out.
3) Chef and other 3 crew were inexperienced. Only one gentleman was experienced. I believe this is the prime reason for all unpleasant experiences.

Manager called on second day - I shared all above points but he has 0 listening skills. He was explaining one over and over - to get good experience I must check in at noon. Not at 6 pm - what I did.
So my question was then he should have rejected my offer.

Overall I suggest - keep other options and request essential services before you check in.

Its mixed experience, we had booked two bedroom special deluxe Boat with upper deck, when we went at boat starting point, they gave us 5 bed room very long boat with upper deck. Everything was good until 5 pm till boat was moving but as soon as boat was parked many problems started.
1.boat parking was not in proper position, our room window was facing land side, the reason was told that cable which they use for lights and AC in the night is short considering length of the boat, they did not park the boat vertically.
2. The other worst part was it’s not boat house but house of lizards. Their were at least 20+ lizards were out side the rooms and few inside the room too
3. Bathroom were not clean and smelly, they were not maintained for hygiene

Staff was good, veg food prepared was okay, I paid 13 K for one night for two bedroom but it’s not worth to stay over night in the boat. Best is to take day tour and book the beach side resorts for night stay.

I would NEVER recommend Riverland Cruises Houseboat, you may go for other better options.

I would have given one star for not informing about boat availability but due to staff’s good behaviour I have given two stars.

Very bad service.they told the boat will be company’s but it was from private owner.staff was cordial though.almost 6 k we paid high and it was a small boat with poor amenities.food was good.please don’t book through this agency.they have absolutely no responsibility!

Worst service frim riverland, sales person told all the things in fashion manner and later when we board everything turned opposite. After paying money all the things went worse and real color of the persons came out side. Worst behaviour and waste of money to invest with riverland and dont waste your precious time and valuable trip time here.

Very nice experience. Crew was very kind and friendly. Food was good. Rooms are very clean.

Extremely unprofessional. Didn’t refund my booking amount even after I cancelled the same 2 months in advance.
