Rivulet Resort

It was a nice experience for us. It would be better if you could do something to improve the condition of the road that leads to the resort

It pains me to leave 4 star review for this hotel but it is for one reason only. 530am the call to prayer from the mosque will wake almost anyone, it's like the speaker is on the roof and goes on for 2 minutes. There is a siren that goes off at 6am that would be heard by all hotels in the region but that lasted a few seconds then it was possible to fall back to sleep. The rooms, grounds, pool, restaurant and staff are all delightful with excellent facilities and activities. Food is excellent and fairly priced considering on location, we missed a meal and had food in Munnar which I regretted the next morning,
my advice is to eat here if possible. Staff are so attentive and friendly it's a shame I only left 4 star review.

Great place, staff is great they have a huge range of activities to keep you occupied.
The staff is very cooperative and friendly.
The view from the rooms is also very nice

Excellent HOSPITALITY. They make the guest so comfortable, always there to help & guide. Food was also good. They have a lot of inhouse activities for kids like Archery, Fishing, Horse riding, Bamboo rafting, infinity pool, carrom, planting a tree etc.
Kids would love the place.
View of the river & it's noise is really nice, variety of birds & their songs makes the place more romantic.

Had a very relaxed stay. This is our first vacation after baby. The location of the resort is breathtaking as it is located near serene lake and the staff were friendly and helpful. What more could one ask for? We will be back again hopefully!

It was one of the best place to stay in munnar without any doubt, let it be location, service and food I can just give 5 star, they had plenty of activities and we majorly enjoyed campfire, cooking and pool.

One of the best place to relax and make more memories with self and family

Rooms are spacious and super clean and excellent room service.

You don't require to go outside the resort for any sight seeing as the resort by itself is very scenic and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I loved the resort very much, the location the scenes. Balcony view, room was very luxuries, from the balcony you can see the river site with mountain, ohhhoo. What an view. The breakfast also nice. In night you can experience bonfire with your partner.

Lovely place, little hefty on your pocket though.
If you're ok on the budget terms.congratulations you will get blown by the nature and the luxury this Resort offers.

It's located right next to a beautiful river. The rooms have partial views of the river, the trees in front block half of it. The rooms are basic but spacious. Dinner was so delicious, though I didn't like the breakfast buffet too much, only Indian options available.

Such an amazing resort! Ngl, it's the most comfortable stay I've ever had! Rivulet resort is such a calm, peaceful and enjoyable place, from beautiful rooms with a balcony facing the beautiful river stream and mountains with fog to beautiful play area to amazing food. What you need to look into in any resort or hotel is the Service. And here the service is 10/10 Had a really great experience! ️

Amazing stay at Rivulet Resort. By the riverside we took Cinnamon cottage which was a cozy, well maintained, clean and beautiful with splendid rooms.
Amazing service and polite staff who were at service for even the minute things. The place is not exactly in Munnar but in Anachal as like a valley which we could see the misty green mountains in the mornings.
It's a great place and highly recommend:)

When me and family visited in September 2021, food menu was limited but great taste and economic.

Beautiful resort, sparkly clean and sanitized. So calm and quiet, courteous staff. Small park for kids to play that was the highlight for our kids. Breakfast buffet was excellent, scrumptious food. Overall an amazing stay to remember. Thank you Rivulet team for making our trip awesome.

Hotel is nice and situated in great location but the staffs are not so co operative and give less value to the customer, I cannot find a live reception on arrival, we waited and one man came after few minutes. No one at reception to attempt our calls. Food was very limited and quality is less compared to the stars it hold.room was not prepared well and doesn’t seems sanitised. Not provided what we booked. We found bags on the bed and when we ask they told sorry and took it out.expect to improve soon once this pandemic is over.

Nice environment. River running behind the resort. Nice peaceful place. But not a private resort. Has a road inside the resort which goes to a village.resort is not fully private. Any one can access the rooms. Temperature will be little high compared to munnar city

A glimpse of heaven! The soothing music of the bubbling river, the lush green hills draped in rising mist, the cool breeze carrying the fresh air from the woods. All in all, a perfect place to relax & rejuvenate, with the villa configuration enabling privacy and safety during this pandemic stricken times.

Roads are bad, if directed via good maps. Instead check with receptionist for alternative way. Good service and ambience. Had good break!

A good resort with private cottages. The best attraction is the balcony in cottages which is river facing. The balcony view is good with river and mountains. Food is very good and they have a park and a small road towards Bamboo forest for a very small trekking.

Shijo who was always there to help was an awesome staff. The room boy Nikhil also was very helpful.

While booking, please ask them arrange a room that is very near to river so that you can get a clear view of the river from the balcony. In some cottages, trees are blocking the view of river.

The view is the best.it is soothing and calm.the resort staff is polite and very courteous. The food is also good and reasonable.you will have a good and a different experience in Munnar by visiting Rivulet resort. Value for money and pleasent stay. Thumps up for sure!

A very beautiful resort set amidst lush green forests. Three views were beautiful from our cottage. Our room had huge windows and a balcony to relax. There are a few activities you can do inside. I find their bicycles to be in a bad condition though. The breakfast buffet was really good. The service is very good too.

I was confused between Prakkat, The leaf & Rivulet. I chose Rivulet because of the following stream and it didn't disappoint rather excited is after reaching here. The photos are self explanatory of its down location. Due to its location in a bit less altitude then the remaining two before mentioned hotels the temperature is cool not foggy or cold at nighttime.
The rustling of flowing steam is quite a view and harmony of water with Tea in balcony. They provide bicycles for a little tour around the resort and a little 8 am trekking for a 2-3 km. The food rates are also very reasonable not very pricey. And instead of à la carte please go for buffet (450/-) kids are free in it.
And above all the 5-6 hours activity centre wonder valley is near to it.
So in my view and feeling this is the place to be to spend your weekend or Munnar visit.
My advice will be Go for Royal suite not higher-up.

Place is very good- serenic view, but food menu (menu only, not the quantity) is having limited items only that too many of the tandoor items like kebabs etc are available only after 7.30.
However the quality and quantity of the very good so is the taste.

This place is pretty good for one night stay for family. You can find a small park for your kids. Apart from the stream of water coming from the powerstation, nothing much to see or do at the resort. Food is average. If you can travel 15 km from the place you can visit ponmudi dam.

By the river. The double pleasure of mountains and river in munnar. This is the only resort that makes it possible. With a beautiful river side walk and some good bonfire music and staff. This please is an absolute winner

A beautiful paradise in munnar. The rooms and thr view is simply awsome. The sound of the water flowing by the river and the morning whispers of the birds is just mesmerising.
The rooms are awsome and the view from the balcony is awsome. Room cleanliness can be better in terms of shower curtains etc. But if you guys are planning for a trip to mummar thrn one should definitely try out this place.

What an excellent view and location, though is it little far from Munnar town but it's a must selected option if you want to enjoy the beautiful river view along the hillside from your balcony.

While coming to resort, Rooms are maintained properly, stay is quite comfortable and I am in love with balcony view. Morning breakfast is excellent and I felt the quality of food is also great

My wife's friend recommended this to us.and believe me we totally loved it.although we took only deluxe room the view from our balcony was mind-blowing.the sound of river and the birds chirping and the blue sky.it was like a heaven for us.

The food here is really good. We had buffet for breakfast as well as dinner. The few dishes in breakfast were repeatative but the the taste and quality of the food was great. In dinner there were different options and we loved them all.

The staff is very polite and friendly. I would recommend to stay at this place.

It was good and awesome location. Rooms were great. River was there which can b seen from rooms. Rent was little higher side and location is out of city. So u can't do by walk in evening time.

Worth for amount, friendly service. Facilities are good but food will prepare only with coconut oil that causes a bit trouble for the people who came from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana

Great place to stay. Beautiful valley and refreshing environment. Great food and great service. Employees at this place are very polite. Absolute place to spend your vacation in Munnar.

Loved the resort, Rivulet is known for the exotic suites. The resort is clean and eco friendly. Resort is almost 15km interior from Munnar Town and the roads are poor post floods. Food quality is not up to the mark.

Peaceful resort, friendly staff, well maintained, far from city traffic, rejuvenating and relaxing. Good resort for a family weekend outing plan.

I was so excited before the trip seeing all the pics on their website. The river flowing nearby was the main unique point for which I had booked with this resort. But when we checked-in, Alas! The RIVER WAS NOT THERE. There was only a empty river bed with big rocks. If u go close, you will see a narrow channel flowing. That's all!

If you go on a stroll in the morning, you will be seeing workers engaged in repair works of the damage due to the recent floods. There's no beauty now (December 2018).

Now with the rooms. The room was a decent one. It had a balcony but all I could see was an empty river bed and rocks. The hotel guy told me to hang a "CLEAN MY ROOM" tag outside the room if I wish my room to be cleaned. And unfortunately, next morning I forgot because I left for sight seeing in a hurry. So, my room was not cleaned, nor the towels changed, nor the dustbins emptied. Even the tea bags were not supplied. I bought this thing to their notice, but they said that this is their tradition. Let it be. I would suggest that they should have a tag like "DO NOT CLEAN MY ROOM", so that they can clean the room by default. After all its their property and it's their basic duty to keep it clean. If a person wants privacy that their room not to be opened, they can hang a 'Do not clean my room tag'. Like people hang a "Do not Disturb" tag. This is my suggestion.
Another thing, On the 1st night, I ordered dinner to my room. After eating, I kept the plates outside so that the hotel staffs can collect it. But when I opened the door next morning, the plates were still there. And the left over food was scattered (by a dog.may be). If I had kept the plates in my room, it would not have been cleaned. This thing should be taken care of. If a person keeps the plates inside the room and forgets to hang the "CLEAN MY ROOM" tag, then those plates will never be collected.

About house keeping, Before leaving for sight-seeing, I told them that the bathroom door was not locking properly from outside and it needs a repair. When i came back, the repair was not done. I was to check out next day, so I didn't bother anymore.
About food, it was good.still, it could be better.
I am giving 3 stars.

Great luxury resort in a perfect location. The breakfast selection was unbelievable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Really a place to reccomend for a family holiday stay.resort was awsome with nature look it was untouched palace very good property, so pure and so nature i had always dream to stay in hotel surrounded by water, Service was good, thank you rivulet resort I love soo much, we will come back for long stay with my all family.specially thanks to Mr shihab for trekking experience. It's a very pleasant and serene place with each little thing at its best and the location is just perfect. And most importantly, the hotel staff is quite amicable.

A bit far from the town but worth travelling the extra distance. Excellent location, food and service. Total value for money.

Excellent location and superb service. Most of their staff are local and stay near the resort, I even met a lady who had her house within the premises. Food is good too; definitely recommended.

Very good place to spend your vacations. Great ambience and good service. Well maintained rooms. Need to improve on the provision of signage as we took some time to find out the route to the place.

Excellent place to stay. Open the sliding door to the balcony and enjoy a chilled beer with the sound of enchanting river symphony.

Excellent place to chill out in munnar.

Very close to the powerhouse and there is a small bridge to reach the resort and is quite terrifying after the floods.

Stay was very good and the complementary breakfast was really really good in terms of items and taste. The ala carte is quite expensive 300 + for a below average biriyani is not justifiable elsewhere.

Has that resort ambience and the cottages offered are really good in terms of privacy and comfort. The service is good and so are the facilities. Worth every penny you spend.
