On the last visit I tried their special meals. Price is rupees 100 per meals. For this price range it's good in calicut district. Two rice options are available kuruva and ponni. I tried the ponni rice. One cup Payasam also included, but it's not upto mark. When the rush time their serving is not good. Parking is congested for vehicle.

Don't go to Ruchi if u are alone. A waiter comes only after 20 minutes, even though he might be roaming near by you.
He takes order and takes another 10 minutes to bring food. Even Tea is half filled, like ration.
The cashier behaves like why this untouchable has come to our 'prestigious' hotel.
Visited the restaurant out of childhood nostalgia, never again will I.

If you want to eat sadhya then Ruchi bhawan is better choice. I liked the sadhya very much

Since unless you reach there by 12Noon you are Like a beggar as the Rush is Heavy though meal is Rs 100/=

We went there for the breakfast. It was nice. My wife enjoyed the food a lot. I am super happy and definitely will visit next time.

Excellent veg meals for affordable prize.but they should assign more staffs atleast in buzy hours. Staffs are running on their toes.

I used to visit this place on a weekly basis whenever I go back home from Calicut to Kodungallur. I never had any stomach upset issue from there while comparing it to the other veg restaurants nearby KSRTC. The food there always gave me a slight Chennai vibe (not exactly). The service is just okay. Apart from that it is a good restaurant. Also I have done few veg restaurant vlogs in my YouTube as well. Channel Name is *Agent Foodie* Hope that helps. Edit: Recently they gave us drinking water in unclean steel tumblers. No serious response when the issue was raised to managers

King of aroma.
This is one of the vegetarian restaurants situated in Kozhikode. This shop is very close to the ksrtc bus stand. When we enter the shop we get an aroma of the great indian spices. The calicut is a fusion of food. There is no end to it. The lunch at this shop was amazing. Definitely you have to try special meals. The payasam is also very tasty. They also have other food on their menu.

Ordered sadya and veg biriyani from here. Both tasted very nice. We make ghee at home and for the first time smelling and tasting authentic homemade ghee in restaurant food. Feeling so light even after a plate of biriyani attests to the use of good fats. Palada, so yummy.

If u r wishing for a Kerala traditional meal then this is the perfect place. Authentic taste. The payasam which they are providing is amazing. I loved it.

Good vegetarian hotel. Lunch is comparatively costly at rs. 100, but worth it. At most five or six cars can park - so parking might be an issue during peak times. Decent customer service.clean washrooms. One of the better hotels in Calicut.

Went there for a parcel of masala dosai.
Had to wait for quite a long time.
But the dosai was super.
The person at the cash counter, I think is a temporary person, and was not friendly.
