Sahar Nature Stay

Last week I happened to stay with my friends in this cottage.
Little steep to reach the cottage. But quite, calm and an excellent view from this place. Moving mist along with me, in between rain and birds song in the morning. Really makes me to feel in a different place on earth.
Love to visit again

That night, I fell into a deep, travel-weary sleep, lulled by the familiar sound of the waterfall beyond the window. I dreamed of the beck fairies, a blur of lavender and rose-pink and buttercup-yellow light, flitting across the glittering stream, beckoning me to follow them toward the sahar nature stay! Worst experience I ever had. The water heater was not working. When we asked for cab arrangement they charged extra as the owner of this resort asked for comission for that. We came to know about this when we enquired cab rates in other places. The foods they provided were costly and not good. The tv remote was not working. Rooms were not cleaned for even one time in our three day stay. The worker was non-cooperative all the time. The worst owner and employee and in between them the visitors have to suffer.

No cab driver will go to that location as its in slope area, before booking i asked the owner whether heater is available and he said yes.but the heater is not working when we asked the care taker he said call owner.we called he said take another room for both alone.but there also no heater working so again we called.for that the owner of best cottage in the munnar saying share the bathroom with another person room.we dont have any other way as we went with family and 3 years kid, so 3 days we have taken the water from my friend room for that also care taker didn't help to bring the bucket. 2nd day we asked the care taker to clean the room.for that he is giving broomstick to us to clean the room by our-self (owner saying we said not to clean the room. Hello sir, we are not mad to say dont clean the room dont give fake response). Bed sheet full of dust.more cockroach all over the area.tv remote not working (battery also we have to buy our own). Dinner we asked for 14 roti (very hard) and 1 egg curry (4 eggs in one small bowl for 4 person) for that owner charging 600 rs.even start hotel will not charge this amount.when we ask him to reduce he said what u can give.i said 350 rs which is charge by hotel (1chappati 15rs.egg curry 150) 30 to 40 rs for egg curry but i said take 150 for egg curry and he said no need take complimetry. I said i no need complimentary will speak this later but he didnt agree so we left.we never had your money.you cheated us in the way of giving a dummy room and cab. We staying in his room but for food and cab he is taking commission. I went to many cottages but this is my worst experience.there is no zero star.thats why giving 1 star.full of False promise by the owner.

Have to say.this environment is outstanding with regards to both food and stay.the hospitality rendered here is very appreciative and deserves good feedback. I as a guest.enjoyed each moment with premium service and a clean room to stay.
I would.infact definitely recommend travellers to pay a visit to this calm and splendid resort.

Amazing location! Situated very close to most tourist spots, this cottage feels so much like home. A perfect place to stay with family and the view from the place is breathtaking because for the most part of the day it’s misty and pleasant. The caretaker was very friendly and food again was excellent. You definitely have to sit in the corridor with the birds in the morning. Just watching them is so blissful.highly recommended!

A homestay with great views and privacy, delicious food, space for campfires and barbeque dinners! Perfect place to unwind in Munnar!
Will definitely come around again for the experience!

Small things add up to a great stay. Loved our weekend here. Enjoyed a delicious home made South Indian breakfast. The place is so calm. The view from the room is great and rooms are neat and clean. A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great hospitality. Will most definitely stay here again!

The steep incline of a few 100m is a little hard to walk on foot. Make sure you get a smaller vehicle like jeep, car, etc.
The view from the stay is majestic. The first breakfast is complementary and it is good. The ambience of the place is also nice.

The place is thoroughly awesome and its way away from busy munnar town.
The rooms are too comfortable and as well as friendly host.
For people looking for munnar trip, you cant ask anything better than this place.
The breakfast is tasty and also the access to kitchen allows you to cook your own delicious food.

Loved it very much

It's a really nice stay for 8 -10 people. The stay is located on the hill and has got a very good view. Nicely maintained rooms and service. The caretaker and the owner respond really well. I completely recommend it.

Great place to visit. Calm and peaceful atmosphere with a great mountain view. The rooms are well maintained and the food is absolutely delicious. If you visit here, do order from the in-house chef. Highly recommend!
