I recently ordered food via swiggy from the restaurant. One item was not delivered and the chicken they sent was spoiled which could have caused health issues.
It's okay. Easily accessible from NH. It's was clean during my visit. Curry gravy was not much thick but the taste was ok. Porotta (Malabar Porotta) was tasty crispy and big too. Reasonable price.
In my life first very bad experience from salkara restaurant. When I am going before I have more expectations for food. We ordered egg fried rice, and shawai, and al fam. But the shawai and al fam they heat in microwave after they served for me. Actually the fried rice very salty. And side dish Gobi manjuriyan also. But I informed them. The staffs side no more reaction. I get food very fastly but that's not statistics. If you take 15 minutes or 20 minutes serve the food tastly. When I am leaving from restaurant i meet owner he is nice guy he told me to visit again. Next time he told me to do all very well. Definitely I will visit again.
Quality of food is bad. The food tastes good but the quality is pathetic. Especially when you order vegetarian, they mix nonveg gravy as base and then adding vegetables and making a vegetarian dish, I have found chicken pieces in a vegetarian dish I ordered, when questioned they didn't have an answer and said sorry. More than once they have given old porota, reheated and not at all fresh. And they add a lot of food colour. The last time I bought food from here I developed food poisoning and had diarrhoea for a day.
Food quality and hygiene needs to improve, then I will consider increasing my rating.
Today I bought some POROTTA as parcel from here. It was the worst porotta i ever had. With its texture itself understood that it is not fresh. With its smell and taste its confirmed that its not made today!
Very good (taste and quantity) Chicken fried rice and chicken noodles Chicken chilly also good But chicken manchoorian is like sambar Very disappointed
