Really disappointed
We tried their full tandoori chicken mandhi and egg fried rice.
Overpriced, meat was not cooked properly, rice was overcooked and had no flavour at all
Egg fried rice was average.but with 170 rs you can eat good chicken fried rice from any other hotel.

Nice restaurant, nice sevice and good behavior from the staffs. Food was of good quality, and were served clean and beautiful. Also was a nice atmosphere.

Got served a horrible dish in the name of chicken tikka roll, which was just some chicken curry wrapped in chapathi! The roll was dripping with gravy which was horrible.couldnt have even a bite! Yuck! The service was also bad, they were reluctant to come and take the order.

We savored the parotta, butter chicken, chicken fried rice, and chicken tikka masala. The parotta was perfectly soft and served piping hot, adding a wonderful touch to the meal. The butter chicken at Salwa Dine Restaurant is a must-try! It's incredibly flavorful, rich, and creamy, leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The restaurant is always bustling with full seats, which speaks volumes about its reputation and quality. Salwa Dine Restaurant has definitely become one of our go-to spots for delicious Indian cuisine.

One of my favourite restaurant in Trivandrum. The atmosphere is soo calming. This restaurant is highly recommended to yall as the food quality and quantity is good.

Good food. Quite good variety as well. Good service too. Parking is the only challenge, and a real good one. We mostly end up parking almost a km ahead and walk all the way back to the restaurant and back.
Getting a parcel takes some time, and we end up ordering some juice.

The place is highly recommended if you are looking for a nice dining option. The food is really good and the staffs are so friendly. Very reasonable. Price worthy dining experience with a decent ambience.

Good biriyani. Their Shawaya is also good. Good quantity juices for the price. Variety of dessert options are available.

Good ambience hotel. Such a beautiful. Food is also awesome we ordered chicken momos I think It is very delicious. We all enjoyed it. And we ordered falooda I think it was an avarage or not very good but good well decored it.

Ordered Veg Biryani from here, which was too spicy and not at all tasty. Rice used was ordinary rice, not long grain. Also in place of frozen peas, they had used the cheap dried peas. I got severe acidity after eating this over-spiced and tasteless so-called Biryani. Pls avoid this place like the plague.

Ohhh and most of the rave reviews about this place are fake.

Dining here was one of the worst experiences I had recently. Ordered Butter Chicken, and I'm not sure what I received. To my knowledge, Butter Chicken is a thick makhani gravy with lots of butter but what I got was a coriander filled gravy. I even inquired if they had mistaken my order, but it was confirmed there was none.

One the hotels that get good food in Thiruvananthapuram City. This hotel has all kinds of food delivery apps. In addition, they deliver themselves at home. They will prepare the parcel by calling on the phone, friendly staff and moderate rate for food items.

Not happy. Very poor and untasty food. I was told by many of my friends that this is an incredible place to spend your money for lunch and I am very sorry to say but I was heavily disappointed by this place. The food was mediocre at the best but the worst was the ambience and the atmosphere. Not a good place to go during a hot day. After the meal we decided to have a mango ice-cream for dessert and that was a bad decision on my part, their ice-creams are very bad, and please don't buy them.

Food is ok and the price is a little bit high, as compared to nearby hotels. Fair customer service. If you are searching for a budget friendly hotel don't choose this!

The thali meals was good.cost was ₹140, the mutton biryani was an average or an ok one.and we bought some extra tooo but to say it was costly.we bought 2 piece of ayala fish fry one m-biriyani 2 meals and it cost us₹812.

Great and Tasty foods. Offer Traditional and chinees vegetarian and non vegetarian options are served here. Take away counter is also available. Nice seating and cosy place for foodies

Very good non veg shop in town. Shaway chicken is very delicious comparing with other nearby shops. Porotta is so crispy and yummy. Reasonable prices and pleasant staffs. Good experience.

Good food.but not well cleaned hotel.the spoons and plates are little dirt I'm not impressed by their service.this place have to improve their cleaning

Good place to eat out. Got both A/c and non A/c restaurant. Food is tasty, service is also nice. Got various budget combos when you want to try out.

I took one chicken biriyani and it was not hot, there is no taste if biriyani. I don't know about other dishes. I am a traveler, till now I didn't eat such a horrible biriyani in my life with the cost of Rs: 158 including Gst. I think they can sell this type of biriyani on road side with the cost of Rs: 50 or 70.
Keep it your Bad Food

Salwa Dine is a very popular non-vegetarian restaurant located in a prime location along the Vellayambalam - Sasthamangalam Road in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.
They have a primarily traditional Kerala fare, which is reasonably priced. Service is prompt and food is served in hygienic conditions.
The Restaurant also has a takeaway section.
It is more than 20 years old and is patronised by large number of people, especially for lunch & dinner

Very good hotel with a really nice atmosphere inside. Really good food available here. Worth visiting this hotel. Really loved this place.

After alot of visits two days back i just realised one thing in Salwa.they serve meals.its an average one.dnt expect more. Salwa's veg.friedrice is superb.i think every kids like this.because my 6yr nephew order it and finish it almost the 75% quantity by himself at everytime. Also now its firstfloor is opened with kidillam interiors.it gives a calm ambience.now my husband loves to sit in upstairs bcoz of this ambience.

Food as well as the serving is very excellent. Ambiance is also gud.there is no salt at all in the food. The price is high but not too much. Fruits is not fresh

Salwa Dine is one of the oldest restaurants in Trivandrum. Still remember, as school boys we friends used to hang out at this place. 18 years down the lane many things have changed, but the quality of the food is quite first class even now. And they have all varieties of veg and non veg dishes available at reasonable prices. Can always see people coming and taking parcels as well. Ambience is good, cleanliness is good, service is also good. All in all, a good place to dine at.

Foods are really tasty and they keep it clean. But my last experience was very bad. I just asked for a normal sharja and they gave me chocolate sharja. I just kept it and again asked for a normal sharja. And then they gave me a drink. That was not sharja not shake not juice too. I kept both on the table and came back

It has a good appearance and cleanliness but the quality of food served is judgemental. I was affected with food poisoning after eating from this restaurant.

Family dining area is well maintained, staffs are great, well mannered and proactive when it comes to coustmer service. Ambience is calm and welcoming with soothing music. The reason I give only four star is because of the food. It is good, neatly prepared and good, but average compared to the price.

Absolutely delicious and lip-smacking food, I usually ordered from this place, I m from the northern India so the spice and the heat of the black pepper was a bit too hot for me but still I totally loved it. If you can take the hot peppers then do give it a try. My usual orders were some dry spicy preparation with Kerala parotta and the fish in coconut gravy just yum yum yum.

Salwa dine was a small hotel some 8 years back.i loved their chicken tikka and parotta and the free heavenly gravy.then i tried first biriyani which is mouthwatering. I tried many dishes from salwa dine. The only problem is that the increased price. They could cut down a bit
