Worst service experience but I gv 2 start because only for sea view hotel
Front desk person behaviour is very bad
Kitchen person also very rude behaviour when I ask per plate
Telling take it own way I book 4 rooms 1st of June

Worst rooms there are lizards and cockroaches roaming around the room. Bed has a very low unhygienic bedsheet on it. Please do not book it.

I visited for conference. I thought that kerala food is not good. But I got food from this hotel. I must say ppl should try here non veg food at least one time

Nice Hotel stay with family’s very close to UDS beach kovalam, walkable distance to Uday Samudra hotel & Raviz

The view from hotel to seeing the kovalam beach is beautiful. But the hotel service is very poor.the basin and toilet tiles having so many cracks.bad services by people in these resort.

The perfect location & view of ocean from the balcony of room.
The hotel & rooms were very spacious & fully equipped with all the essentials.
The staff, thier service & cleanliness, pool etc. Were really remarkable.

Worst hospitality. They don't even give electric kettle for tea or coffee in the room. Very old resort with stinking and torn pillows, bedsheets & towels. U will not find anything in the washroom except two pieces of soap. Breakfast buffet consists of 2-3 dishes at max.

An amazing hotel to stay, best location, beach view rooms, near beach almost at the beach. Big rooms and washroom nice food arrangement with complementry breakfast. Helpfull staff members. Swimming pool is alao there but the best is there rooms and its view. Must place to stay with family and friends with reasonable cost

Very bad hospitality. They don't even clean the rooms and change the towels, bed sheets and covers daily. Don't provide any tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast buffet is also unsatisfactory with just 2-3 dishes. The swimming pool is very small, not for adults.

Really bad experience we had, we stayed here for a day, the rooms and washrooms were stinking, the breakfast served was really really very bad. Worst stay during our trip to Kerala. Totally disappointed.

Good location near the beach but one needs to walk slight upside on a sloping road to reach there. Few people might find it uncomfortable.

Very strange pool timings 8am to 6: 30 pm. People go out for sightseeing during this time. It should be open till late. I am disappointed about it the most.

I dont like complaining, and would have done either but the last hotel which i stayed couldn't stop me.
It was my honeymoon trip and they have totally spoilt it.
If u ever go to Kovalam beach, never go to samudratheram resort. Its the worst believe me.
No hot water. U will get only after telling them. Mosquito bite me, couldn't sleep, ac making so much noice, tv only 2 channels coming, food worst, service worst, and so many in the list.
Hotels choice is very bad of paradise holidays. It would be better if u book hotels online

There was no kettle in deluxe room and will find insects and delayed service from hotel staff breakfast average

கொல்லத்திலிருந்து 23 கிமீ தொலைவில் மன்றோ தீவு இருக்கிறது. சாலை வழியாக போவதென்றால் 40 கி. மீ. க்கு மேல் பயணிக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் காரில சென்றால் 23 கி. மீ ல செல்லலாம். அஷ்டமுடி ஏரியை வந்தடைந்து அங்கு தயாராக இருக்கும். படகில் மனிதர்கள் மட்டுமல்லாது கார், ஆட்டோ, டூவீலர் என அனைத்தையும் ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு அஷ்டமுடி ஏரியில் சற்று தொலைவில் ஏராளமான தென்னை மரங்களுடன் பசுமை போர்த்திய மன்றோ தீவை சென்றடையலாம்பெரும் நீர்ப்பரப்பின் மத்தியில் கொள்ளை அழகுடன் அந்தத் தீவு இருந்தது. படகு தீவின் அருகே செல்ல செல்ல ஆவலும் அதிகரித்தது. இனம் புரியா பரவசம் நம்மை தொற்றிக்கொள்ளும். வல்லம் (canoe) என்று அழைக்கப்படும் படகு பலா மரக்கட்டைகள் கொண்டு செய்யப்பட்டதாகும். இதில் பயணம் செய்வது நம்மை பரவசமூட்டும். செல்லும் வழியெங்கும் தென்னை மரங்கள் நம்முடனே வருகின்றன. திரும்பும் பக்கமெல்லாம் பசுமை கண்களுக்கு விருந்தளிக்கின்றன. கரையின் இரண்டு பக்கமும் உள்ள தெருக்கள் ஊடாக நம் பயணம் அமைவதால் அவர்களின் வாழ்வியலை ரசிப்பது அலாதியானது. இடையிடையே சிறிய பாலங்கள் குறுக்கிடுகின்றன. அந்தப் பாலங்கள் சிலவற்றிலும் அழகு மிளிர்கிறது. இந்த தீவை இந்தியாவின் வெனீஷ் என்றழைத்தால் அது மிகையாகாது.

This uday samutra at kovalam belongs to UDS Hotels this is good property facing beach with 3 swimming pools 3 resturents bars with private beach more than 200 rooms it is 3 star standard in rating rooms spacious all facilities you have but very primitive they must renovate food BF is ok executive chef Mr Sebastian very cordial attends guest s with smilling face he takes care our special menu fantastic, they have ayurveda centre for oil massage good at reasonable rates room service is better, ambiance very old, reception is good, you can conduct marriages & big partys have good big hall with dinning space also, mainly carparking little away from hotel.they must improve more to attract more but you can enjoy at this affordable price enjoy

It's good hotel to stay near beach but it is very difficult to reach hotel as it is located on stiff hill.very difficult to reach hotel by walking.required vehicle to reach hotel from mail road.even restaurant located on fifth floor and lift service is not available.very difficult for old age person to stay here

Breakfast was worst. Milk for Cereals was burnt, Tea tasted and smelled burnt. Coconut chutney tasted sour and spoiled. Dinner service was very slow, it took 1hr 15 minutes for the food to get served on table.

Other than the view room the hotel has nothing much to offer. The dirtiest property I have ever stayed in my life. Restaurant is clumsy and the food is not up to the mark. Most of the items that are mentioned in the menu are unavailable. If you still plan to stay in this budget hotel make sure u get the Room No 500 else think twice rather thrice before booking this property.

The view from the hotel is great but the hotelrooms are a bit shabby. Not as clean as I expected it to be.

Good beach view and very near from beach. But upto car vehicles only enter the hotel premise. Two cars only parked here. Small lift. Rooms and premises well maintained. Staff very supportive.

NICE RESORT

The resort is situated at beach side. The view from the resort gives nice mood, we will get refreshed. The room is neat and clean & had facilities such as A/c, refrigerator. The staff in the resort were polite and helpful. The resort has swimming pool. The food at the resort is good. As the resort is situated at high altitude, It is difficult to walk to the resort. Overall the experiance in the resort was peaceful.

Ocean view.but there security staffs doesn't know English they only know Hindi.
So people should irritated very badly

Most attractive things about this floating Restaurant is it's Location, you can see merger of Neeyar river and Arabian see. Food means specially See fish, very costly and oily. But one time you can taste.

A horrible place with horrible staffs. Stayed there on 20july 2019. The rooms are not well maintained and the complementary breakfast have no good options. It was really strange that even with having bread and eggs, they don’t know to prepare bread omelette?
It’s near to kovalam beach on a hilltop and no Uber Ola will be available from there. They even didn’t helped us for getting a private taxi. It was really a bad experience with samudra theeram resort.

It is very good beach resort in front of Arebian Sea. The ambiance and service was very good. We stayed 2 days there and enjoyed lot.

Opt for ocean view room. We enjoyed the view and roaring of sea throughout the stay. Swimming pool is also good. Food quality is good (especially eggs and non-veg). Buffet breakfast is average. Overall, you can count on them to make your stay hassle free and enjoyable.

One of the worst location, in front of most crowded beach. Adjacent to public parking which is always messed up with tourist buses and cars movements, entry to hotel was blocked most of the time,
no single restraunts / shops nearby.
Breakfast is just basic with 2-3 items.
Although, rooms and sea view are fine.

Poor quality rooms no electric kettle or tea facility in room even had to ask for toiletries room looks like very very old small beds.
Avoid taking room on second floor as they have cheap quality rooms on that floor.

Excellent but too castly and expensive. For big people's only.clean and natural look pool is inside.

It is one of the best resort in Kovalam. View from the room is amazing. Hospitality at its best. The food is also very nice. Had a nice stay there.

Nice hotel near by sea, with swimming pool and nice service from hotel & staff. Roof top dinner. Great

Beautiful beach in trivandrum kerala, these place is peace with beautiful sunset, it has a beautiful rock view. The tourist attraction in here is very high. It only because of such beauty. Vehicle parking and wheelchair is available. Good place for kids. This shore is filled with sea shells. Clean and tidy.

It's not at all like any 'Resort' as appear in its name. Its an average hotel like a Lodge having filthy rooms and restrooms. One shouldn't hope for any welcome drink, tea, coffee or even a glass of water. Services of this hotel is very poor and the staff is not cooperative.

We had booked deluxe room but staff (Praveen- Ops Manager) offered us honeymoon suit which was on top floor. It was like wedding gift for us. View from our room was just fantastic. Thank you

Location good. Building design is good with lacks upkeep and cosmetics things NEED ATTENTION STAINED DRAPES AND STAIN WALLS. THE OPERATION MANAGER WAS NICE. BUT other guy at front desk was rude i went to have my room changed and he is picking his nose.
After i complain about dirty wall it was changed and walls wiped.
