Good option for vegetarian folks in Munnar. The service was prompt and rates are reasonable. Saw a lot of foreigners also having food here. The food was tasty and wholesome. Coffee was also good.

The place was so amazing. The food served at the place was so delicious and tasty. I would really really really recommend the place for all the vegetarian options. We found the idly were so soft and puffy. The vada also tastes really good. The dosa and the chutney were all delicious and yummy we really enjoyed that. We found all the ordered food items really really good. Even the tea and coffee that was served at the place was delightful. My family was genuinely happy with the fast services and the quality of the food. Parking facilities were available infront of the hotel. Washroom facilities were also available behind the hotel. The place was clean enough and the working ladies were polite. This place got a brand value in Tamil Nadu for its wide variety of vegetarian options and it truly stand by it. I did find many families enjoying the food and the delicacies among with us. Overall it was truly a great experience.

One of the good places for vegetarians. We had paneer tikka, jeera rice and plain wheat roti and the taste of paneer tikka was really awesome. We were amazed to have the northern side taste of panner tikka in kerela. Service was fast though the place was crowded.
Seating areas have enough space. Hand Wash area available. Waiting area also available. The wash room was available but cud have been more clean. The parking area is barely available and depends on your luck else you have to park four wheels somewhere on the main road.
Wheelchair accessible is not available.

Extremely inefficient serving by the staff. The food is also pretty average. Its also kinda wierd that the kitchen is twice the size of the seating area

A very good veg restaurant in Munnar. Had amazing south Indian thali here. Visited the place on weekday but still the place was almost full. Weekends it will be full.

Saravana Bhavan Restaurant, Munnar is the right place to enjoy the most authentic Kerala thali. The thali is served with tamarind rasam, sambhar, avial, dry vegetables, curd, plain dal and one sweet item (total 10 items in 10 small katori), and plain rice being the 11th item. It is very fresh and delicious thali available at this restaurant. Other South Indian cuisines like Ghee Rava Onion Masala, Ghee Roast dosa, idli, vada and many other items are available. The service is very fast. The restaurant is also very clean. They are all served fresh and hot. They also provide take aways and a big tiffin for any function or social gathering. You must visit this place whenever you are in Munnar.

The only thing we missed in Kerala was authentic vegetarian food. But that was fulfilled by Saravana bhavan. The keralian dish we ate there was delicious and gave us the taste of local cuisines.

Authentic South indian taste. A final stop for those foodies looking for some Rice rasam and pysum.

Please. For the love of Saravana Bhavan, don't visit this branch of theirs. The worst food I have had so far in a Saravana Bhavan franchise. The customer service is worse than the food honestly. We ordered for tomato soup first. It had a live worm in it And the staff was not even sorry about it. He just took the bowl from our table once we complained and didn't say anything.

Ordered for rawa dosa, the waiter said he can get it and made my diabetic father wait for 20 mins for his order and then comes and tells him that he forgot to inform rawa dosa is over and he can place order for something else.

Going to munnar for a vacation and experiencing this was the biggest low of our trip. Truly the worst experience at a restaurant.

Perfect place to have food if you prefer south dishes. The tea i drank here is one of the best!

Nice food with reasonable price. They offer warm Jeera water for drinking, and this is the best I felt. All the chutneys tasted really yummy and not too spicy.

Very good place after a disappointed food in kerala restaurants.meals was very good.sambar rice was good and curd rice also tasted good.service was best.orange juice was good.

A small, simple and clean place to get yours handles on the best dosa in town.
Served on banana leaves the dosa and idli are to die for.

Wonderful place to eat veg foods, try special meal for rs. 150 it's a 0ackage of lot of several authentic kerala dishes. But meal is available from 11: 00 am to 3: 30 om only. Staff is good, polite and always serve you with smile. Budget friendly good food. Good service.

Even though it is located in Munnar main town saravana bhavan is located in small road thats difficult to recognize. Food tastes awesome. Available all breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Staff are polite and service is quick but price is high. Parking facility available but very less space.

Food quality is less than ok. They use so much of oil in noodles and kesari bhat. You can prefer only full meals here.

I cant write about their food because i never get chance to eat when i visit. I went with elders and its too crowded time, its ok if we were asked to wait. But the staffs are like why did you enter go out and stand and most of them are like standing behind someone to grab the place. Food may be good but really not worth a try especially when you are with elders
