Sea Hut Home Stay

Nice people, but the rooms cannot be ventilated, the aircon is the noisiest we have tried and there are many mosquitoes plus light from the corridor into the rooms. The place does not have access to the beach, but you can hear the waves.

Really enjoyed my stay. Quiet and peaceful but easy reach to Kochi. Beautiful wooden room.

Mr Antony is a very good person with such a great hospitality. Location and rooms are very pleasant and are at its best condition. Very near to Fort Kochi

Location is great along with beach. You can the sound of waves all day all night. And witness awesome sunset by the resort. Food is authentic and home made. Must try resort.

The pricing is excellent for what you get. The sea is just a few meters away from the room. The room itself was nice and clean, with good service. The included breakfast was also enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone.

A beautiful place to stay near Fort Kochi, this place was a great hidden treasure. The entrance was just a small passage through the main road, but once you enter, its a different vibe.
The rooms were cozy but there’s only breakfast which I liked.
Overall, its a 5 star, specially because of the coastal view of wide vast sea.

A really nice and quiet place close to Fort Kochi. We really enjoyed the kindness of the staff in this place which is beautiful but fortunately "no frills" which helps appreciating this fascinating city.

It was our pleasure to stay at this property's beautiful tree house with panoromic sea view room. The property is very affordable and well connected.

The hotel is great, with nice well maintained rooms by the coast (you can hear the breaking waves in the night from the room - very chill). The staff is friendly and the breakfast good and diverse (changes every day). You will need a 10 min/70 rupees rickshaw to go to the centre.

Terrible experience.
The service was not good. The host doesn't know to apologize for a poor service and attitude.

The bed sheets that were provided was stinking and had stains as if they were not washed. The rooms were dirty with cobwebs and dust.
The only advantage is the location, the the room and service are pathetic.
Definitely not worth the money and never again.

Great place to stay in kochi. We stayed in the room with balcony would prefer little light color curtains with fresh decor all brown decor makes the rooms little dull. But overall value for money. Enjoyed sunset on every evening on the beach which is just behind the stay.

Such a pleasant place and people to spent time with.

The rooms were very dirty, full of dust and spider webs, AC was working intermediately, we had the room full of mosquitos, no bed sheets (just some blankets to cover ourselves), the WC is very small with the shower being basically on top of the toilet.

The staff was okay and the room is right by the sea in a calmer area - you can just take a 80ind rup tuktuk to go the center of Fort Kochi.

We were very uncomfortable the whole night (slept half of it max) and the room is still very expensive. There are better/cleaner options in the same price range.

Best and budget friendly stay near fort kochi with scenic beach view and the property owners are good at hospitality. Looking forward to visit again for a vacation.

I had a short stop in Cochin and had to spend some time I found this Homestay complete value for money the best point is that it is located very close to the beach you can literally hear the waves.
It is a family owned Homestay the owners are very hospitable and polite
Rooms were very clean so as the bed sheet and the towel
The best thing was hot water was available 24 hours
Located near fort Kochi is an added advantage.
You have flexibility in ordering food too.
Do recommend, enjoyed my stay.

This is one of the best Homestays I have ever been to!
The hosts are extremely friendly, food is amazing and the location is perfect. It’s about 2-3 km from the major attractions in fort Kochi.
The sea view from the beach is mesmerising. And if you are up for some adventure then you can hike down on the beach and enjoy some chilled beer!

Indeed a worth to stay if one want calmness with the sea shore God's music. The owner Mr Antony is nice human being, he noticed I am sleeping on floor in late night due to unavailable another rooms, he offered me extra matteres and sheet with pillow without any surplus charge, also talked nice. Another interesting human behaviour is Hayshell, she is so enthusiastically interacted, explained all thing in detail before taking the room, so clarity in the information also asked few questions regarding Kochi and she answered patiently. I appreciate her job done. Thanks I wouldn't mind to stay again once I be bach in the God's own country.

You can stay for long here. You feel like you are at home. People are so nice. About Property- you must stay there feel the wave sound silence. This can't be described.

Wonderfully located homestay with warm and accomodating hosts. For a view of the beach, this is sure a beautiful place to stay at.

Cosy ambience. The compli breakfast was tasty. The staff were really friendly. The attic stay was a different experience. The access to the beach was simply great.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The owners are very nice and ensure everyone is comfortable. They have a beautiful courtyard with a lot of trees, hammock and a walkway to the beach. They live with their furry friends (a dog and a couple of cats). The room was simple but had all the facilities, bathroom was clean and well kept. You can easily access Kochi fort and nearby restaurants if you are visiting for a couple of days.

Good for the night. However the room size is ok. We stayed in the largest room so that was a great experience but the other rooms were not so large. There is no tv in rooms and no dropoff location. If you have some baggage then you need to carry them from the main road down a passage to the stay. Only single option for breakfast. The greats of this location is that it is right next to the water so we can hear the waves crash along the shoreline. Customer service could use some work. I would recommend this place as a way to spend a night, enjoy the evening, sunset and then continue your journey the a day or two onwards.

Good place to spend the night. Rooms has ac. No tv in rooms. No driveway to park car nor drop off. It's a sort walk from the main road to the location. Very close to the water. You can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. They also have some swings and hammock to relax. Finally they have wifi so laptops and tablets can work. Breakfast is included and it is ok, local made. There are some good fish place to eat outside.

Me and my husband and choose to stay at a home stay rather any hotel and it was a wonderful decision. We stayed at the sea view room for three days and it was an amazing experience to live by the sea side. To watch the sea all day and hear the waves hitting the rocks is a therapy. Plus, its a joy to spot dolphins while sea gazing. We loved how the entire space made us feel close and connected to nature. The owners and the staff are very sweet and lovely. Also not to mention the tasty Kerela breakfast they serve.

Overall, a must stay place if you want to have a unique stay experience in kochi. Great place for both family and couples.

This is a lovely small property in Cochin facing the sea, this place is just on the shore behind the rocks where the sea waves hit so hard that you could hear the sound from your room all day. The rooms are clean and well maintained.
This place is filled with romantic vibe, I strictly recommend this for couples only. Very accessible to marine drive and fort Cochin areas.

Spent a night at Sea Hut home stay and it was a nice experience. We stayed there along with our kid and she also liked the place very much. Nice ambience and good food which is worthy. Clean and tidy washrooms along with polite and appreciable behavioral staffs also is a plus point to the SeaHut.

Got to know about this place from the internet. Reviews are good but honestly very overpriced and is not what you see in the reviews.no facilities at all.simply a rip off.

Nice place away from city. Dont expect anything extra ordinary. Its worth for the money. Its close to sea but no beach. And no parking space. Need to park car in the road. Breakfast is not buffet or unlimited. But its tasty. Loved the place.

This is as close to the sea as you can get. It is located just on the sea edge. A night out here is fun. Fort Kochi is not far. If you are driving a car, park it outside on the road. But it is safe out there. The good thing about this place are its owners who take care of the guests carefully.

Fabulously amazing place to stay, romantic delightful, Quite and peaceful. Nature feels close to you. The place runs by a nice family, they are nice, sweet and hardworking. We (Me and My wife) enjoyed their hospitality and the atmosphere of the house.

This is one of the best home stay in kochi, a must go place. A beautiful house located on the seashore. I have stayed this place multiple times. Great food and clean rooms. A must recommend place for those who love to stay near the sea.

Room looks okay and other amenities are also fine. But for me homestay is a place where i feel like home, at least not like a business place. I stayed here and a friend came to visit me he just spent barely 3 minutes in my room and straightaway we went out. But the homestay ppl were unhappy that they said outsiders aren't allowed. What is that? I'm paying and a friend of mine can't even visit me?
Also when i was about to check out i needed an hour more if possible because i was too sick and couldn't finish packing and they were like sharp 11: 30 you must get out. And i did forever

Beautiful homestay, both ac and non ac rooms, the rocky beach is accessible, good courtyard with swings and trees, the host are very polite, humble and helping, they serves delicious and healthy food.
