Sea Queen Hotel

Came here to catchup with a friend and the service was abysmal. It took ages o get our food and even after complaining to multiple people the service never improved. Will encourage everyone to give this a hard pass

All in all the place was good, evening ambience at rooftop is like icing on the cake but the when it comes to rooms, the management should do something good, rooms are really in a pityful condition especially the washrooms.would recommend some proper maintenance/ Makeover for the same.

We had dinner with the rooftop restaurant, which has a great view.
The food and drink are delicious.
Every staff gave us great service, especially Mr. Lipak, the service captain.

Very poor rooms. No maintenance. Overpriced for their standard. Pay a little more and go to a better hotel.

Nice ambience.beach view is really awesme to watch sunset.but u cant go with kids because they are serving alcohol.and smoking is also allowed.u cant stay more than 30mins if u r an asthmatic.food is below average and expensive

Did have a bad experience tonight, the service was very delayed, and they messed up order then mr. Jinu was very rude when we mentioned the misshapen ing. Was a terrible experience

You guys served pickle instead of any standard pairing food. Even substandard bars in other places provides more.

If you are interested to make any improvements, and are really concerned about customers and their feedbacks, pls let me know. I shall pay a visit next week.

NB: people can suspect irregularities like manipulating expense which any normal bars would be spending for this.

Great place to check out the sunset. Go in the afternoon and sit outside, you'll get no service but the view is splendid. The crowd only starts pouring after 5 or 6 in the evening after which they have service in the balcony.

One of the few places in Calicut to have a drink and relax. The roof top seating offers a good view of the beach with good food.

Aesthetic wise this place is awesome, especially the roof top. The staff is friendly, but the food at times lacks consistency.

This hotel has a great ambience and offers a good view. But improvements have to be made especially when it comes to staff behaviour and cleanliness in some areas.

Excellent location. Just opposite Beach. Beach is at a distance of just 20 metres. Excellent view of Beach from rooms. Restaurant is reasonably priced and food tastes excellent. Staff is very courteous and all smiles.

Good food but many items in the menu were not available, bar too have the same problem. Hotel is situated at the beach, roof top dining area is beautiful and the a/c dining hall is also nice; the parking area is good, security are friendly and helpful.

Location is good.it is just opposite to beach. But staff are rude and not supportive. Room service is highly expensive.they charge 250for a plate of idli. Better to have your breakfast in near by hotel Suprabhat.

Many reasons to like this place. Good: location, ambiance, food, courteous staff, accommodative to out of normal request, unmatched beach view (one of the classics of Calicut), decades of exemplary service.

Went for a leisure drink to the roof top bar. This is the only place in the world where wine is served in 60 ml. Just like spirits. The hospitality is worse. The staff really needs some training. Just wasted time

Rooms: Average. Not very clean and faucet didn’t work etc. Not well maintained

A waiter, north indian guy named arjun (thats what he said his name was). I filled out the feedback form and I saw the guy change it later. When I asked my form back he denied. That was just terrible. When I fill out a feedback form I don’t expect others to modify it later.
That was a horrible experience

05/09/2019 - Trying to get your order on time is a task here. The staff here do not speak the local language and they are very slow with their service. We had ordered food with our drinks and they completely forgot about it just because we stepped out to the roof for a few minutes.
I have no complaints about the food but they drastically need to improve their service.
The view is fantastic!

Go to the rooftop garden enjoy the sea breeze, have a beer with baked crab. Best way to enjoy the sunset at calicut with friends. Chicken kebabs, squid onion fry are really good.

It’s a beautiful place inside the city outskirts and very close to the beach.

Had a visit by the past week, beautiful experience and had with a beer.

Easy accessible, parking is good.

Food: Chicken 65 recommended (semi gravy)

Went to eat with my grandparents and friend and was disappointed with the food and service. More than half of the food we wanted was apparently not available and I suggested they maybe have a separate menu for monsoon since so little was available to which the waiter just argued. The food was nothing special and for the price I expect a lot more service:
The salt shaker had rice in
The waiters were unable to communicate
I was asked if i wanted red/white sauce for the alfredo
The waiter’s clothes were dirty
Overall did not get the feel I was in a higher-end restaurant

Good hotel, best place is the roof top restaurant, can have food watching the sea. Bar facility also available for those needs, good parking facility and good lication

Nice sea view, they serve alcohol on the terrace in the evenings, service is average and not as you would expect in a big hotel as this. Food is expensive and average compared to other restaurants in Calicut. Biryanis are horrible. If you complain about the Taste they tell u that u wouldn't understand because it's north indian style (i am north indian)

The worst Mojitho i ever had in my life. Bartender has nothing knowledge about the cocktail. Too much of flyies in the restaurant while eating and bad AC. Better choose other hotel. Only good thing is the view to the beach and good service from the service staff

Just ok with service, beef delicacies not tasted beer costs 180 service is unremarkable comparing other state's Kerala's liquor rate and service in beverage institutions not potential

For the last few visit, i didn't got the food asusual, have to improve the quality asap, otherwise it may affect the whole Hotel. Although the Ambience and staff treatment was good as always.

The hotel is good but had extremely bad experience with Food and Restaurant. I reached hotel around 10.40 pm and at the reception counter they helped and gave heads up that please go to the restaurant as it will closed by 11.0 pm. I reached there at 10.48 pm. I asked for food, it was denied by the Manager at saying it will closed by 11. Pm. I requested to give me whatever available on the counter I can take it to room and eat and not sit at restaurant. The behaviour was indecent. How would you deny food if you have time and resource even if you are paying.
