Serene Lake Resort

Good resort with a great view.visited this place for an engagement function.ambience was good enough.space enough to accommodate 100+ invitees.a major concern is about the parking facilities available at this centre.

I would like to inform you please put numbers on your rooms as there were 3 times miss conduct during our stay. Other guests were not aware about their rooms which was a disturbance to us. Apart from that please make sure whoever guest drinks at your location should be inside the rooms not in premises as there is a privacy issue for other guests. We couldn't enjoy the environment due to such conduct from other guests.
Otherthan that there were cockroach in the washroom.

View is good but overall hygiene is too poor.the pool was full of some small insects and the food the worst among the worst. None among the food they served had any authentic taste to it and moreover many of us got affected with food poisoning.worst place

Awesome place to stay very clam, the owner is very friendly good experience, room was clean and neat. Swimming pool was very clean. This is near Kapil beach.

The location is amazing but the rooms and service is horrible.
The room even hadn’t been swept and was very dirty. The bedsheets were stained and the dohar also had a hole in it. There isn’t even handwash in the washroom for people to use.
There were half drunk water bottles in the rooms. There rooms were stinking bad.
There wasn’t even running water in the rooms. We had to ask them multiple times to arrange this. It took them a couple of hours to arrange water.
The facilities are horrible. So bad that the view doesn’t matter after this.

You also see random people who are not staying in the resort sitting in the common areas.

Amazing location and scenery but poor maintenance and service. Has a lot of potential but poor planning. Unclean rooms, poor landscaping and entry of non accommodating people. Poor security as well. There was no water in the morning for 3 days straight. We had to tell the staffs to turn on the water. They also messed up the order history of the rooms where they added few items which we didn’t order but was ordered by other room guests. A total mess up.

It's a nice stay, by a waterbody. It's a peaceful place. Service is prompt and good. The location is a little away from all the popular cafés of Varkala but can be visited conveniently if you have a vehicle.

The worst service ever. One star is too much for this place. Has a nice location but should change the management. It's the third time I'm visiting this place through the past 3 years. All those time, they were consistent in providing the worst service. And they are good at it. ITS CHRISTMAS AND WHAT I CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS PLACE. YOU GUYS GUESS.

Gud service and nice location to stay and have fun. Lake view was awesome. AMAL service was good.

I recently stayed at this resort for a day, and here's my review:

The rooms were impressively neat and clean, which was a pleasant start to my stay. A non-AC room was reasonably priced at 2500 rupees, making it budget-friendly.

The tea and coffee provided were satisfactory, but unfortunately, I found the food to be subpar. The biggest drawback was the extended preparation time for the meals, which tested my patience.

On a positive note, the resort's swimming pool was a highlight, offering a great way to unwind and enjoy the day.

In summary, it's a decent option for a one-day stay, especially if you're looking for a clean room and a nice swimming pool, but don't have high expectations for the food quality and speed of service.

To embark on, this place is fabulous for it's sceneric beauty. Moreover, this place is ideal for having a calm and peaceful mind also good for conducting birthday parties or any other functions.

It is a quite place and good for a getaway for a day. It is a small place for rest and relaxation. Food is decent and ok.

It was beautiful place, the prices of stay and food were very reasonable and staff also good. Overall a good experience.

Rooms and services were decent but pool was not good. It seemed like they didn't maintain it properly

The location of this lake front resort is literally serene. At a distance,  you can hear the splashing of the waves at the Kappil beach. Although the room where we stayed required some maintenance and deep cleaning,  the accommodations are still reasonably priced. Tea,  coffee,  and snacks are the only culinary options offered at the resort because it lacks a restaurant at the time of our stay.

I and my friends had a great time here. The rooms are good and the service was also great. The lake view is awesome, it is just peaceful to just sit there quietly. There is also a pool, which was neat.
