The best place to have Rumali shawarma from Kannur is Shawarma Man. You can dine-in or take out I'm not sure about delivery. "Should try theirs Hasan Matar once". One of my favourite choice for Shawarma. They have arranged seat properly now, now feels that they have good space inside. Usually opens for the second half of the day. Given the crowd at this outlet, it is a good place to grab a good shawarma. You get all variants here -chicken/ beef etc. Preparation time is quite high at times, but the food is worth the waiting time. I really loved the spicy shawarma. Jumping onto the food, I tried the Arabian Shawarma and Spicy Shawarma plate, which surprisingly was reasonably priced at 90/- and 120/-. To comment on the quality, taste was impeccable, 5 stars for the taste and coming to quantity, the Shawarma has more chicken than Cabbage and Onion when compared to other restaurants. So, all in all, wanna munch on a Shawarma, this is your adda. The waiting time here is quite high due to the customer load. Which is understandable. But worth the wait to munch on an awesome Shawarma.

Pricing is a bit over priced and quantity in is less compared to earlier

The food is tasty. But the size of shawarma is a bit low for the mentioned price. One shawarma is not enough for a single person.

The quality of the food and taste is excellent, but i felt the service and ambiance is not that great.
Their Hussan Mathar and shawayi was a must try.
The red sauce and the mayo served along with also goes well along with the dishes.
You wont get any other drink items other than Mojito, which is just average.
There are hardly 4-5 tables available hear.
There is usually a wait here.
You will some parking space oposite to the restaurant specially if you are visiting at night.

Varieties are more.
Asked them for a shawarma without mayonnaise.but they didn't. They told it was not possible for them to do so.

This is a place best avoided.the filling is tasteless, only can taste the sauce nothing else. They claim to have only roomali shawarma.is it because it's expensive they push roomali? Lack of hygiene, disinterested staff.

I had beef cheese shawarma and to be honest beef was a bit hard and cheese was missing, the Mayo and flavours were okay expect these

VERY VERY delicious shawarma.
Everything else is total disaster. Service, cleanliness, whole process setup of how you pay to how to collect the order is a total monkey business mess. No one cares for taking order, they just chit chat. Unprofessional bunch of goons.
Such a good food and these baboons are ruining the business. Disgusting.

It's been more than 5 years since I moved to india from my birth place Dubai! One of the must have food options is the Hasan Mathar which available from select shawarma places around dubai and other Emirates.

I was super excited to see this on the menu with Shawarma Man and wihtout hesitation I wanted to try it.

Although back in Dubai I have only had chicken Hasan Mathar, I wanted to try their beef Hasan Mathar and spicy. It was around 150rs for one and I can't explain how amazing it was ️

I have drove all the way from Mahe just to finish my craving for it! Simple amazing and to top it the customer experience is amazing too!

Must try for Shawarma lovers!

Important: TRY TO AVOID ANY SIMILAR LOOKING RESTAURANTS AROUND KANNUR.

Giving 1 star for the waiting time they promised and not keeping it. Expect longer waiting time for take aways as the preference is for dine in customers.
That's my warning. Never getting back here as there are equally good shawarma joints nearby.

Loved the shawarma made in rumali roti and the packaging is brilliant too. The place is usually crowded in the evening so expect a delay.

Well that was my review months back but now the place seems to have new staffs and the quality of food has dropped drastically. I wish they bring back their old qualify.

Different types of dishes available. Good staff and service. They attended every customer with great care

Me and my friend went there and ordered Romali Rotis Beef and Chicken Shawarma and it tasted delicious. However quantity seems less to me and took around 20 minutes for the dish to get ready. Taste is excellent! Plenty of space for cars to park, a small restaurant that could fit for less than 20 people. Will definitely try visiting there again!

They offer good Shawarma compared to other Shawarma shops nearby, Although not completely Arabic much better compared to whats available in town. Mostly crowded in evening and not ideal for family dine in. Good for take away.

We decided to try this new joint, as we heard good reviews from friends. We ordered their signature dishes Hassan Mathar and Shawaya, both were very tasty and different from usual Kannur options. We found it value for money, compared to the normal spend in Kannur.
Enjoyed our meal, and looking forward to trying the other dishes on the menu soon. Especially the rumali roti shawarma.
We only wish that they would include some lamb/beef/shiek options as well.

Got to know about this place through a food blogger. They have really great shawarmas. Tried Spicy Authentic Rumali shawarma, Spicy kuboos shawarma and Hassan Mathar. Rumali was my personal favourite. It was nice and crispy. Not a fan of cheese so i was not into Hassan Mathar (you will like it if you like cheese) Totally worth the price

Tried plate shawarma and hassan mathar. Both were good in taste but there was a hell lot of oil in both. The plate shawarma was literally drenched in oil. I don't know how they managed to add this much oil in shawarma.

I give 2 stars because the service is very bad. I have ordered one item and we have to wait for half an hour for one shawarma. But the food item is wary good and delicious.

Being the first customer from shawarma man @Kannur branch, I feel so privileged. The Aroma on their sandwich (shawarma) itself satisfy you with the original Arabic shawarma. It is always recommended to try their spicy Authentic Arabic Shawarma comes in Rumali bread.

We visited this place on a weekday and it was a pleasant experience. The place was nice with ample parking near by and the staffs were very courteous. If you are tired of eating cabbage stuffed shawarmas, this is a must try place. They serve authentic shawarma rolled in rumali rotis without veggies.its so refreshing to have a real shawarma without veggies. And then there iss signatures dishes: 'Hassan mathar' & 'shawarger' - Both a new experience for kannur. 7-9PM on weekends are generally crowded and you might have to wait a bit to get your hands on their authentic shawarma rolls.

This place offering differenty type of shawarmas. I tried spicy shawarma serverd in rumali. But not too spicy. I liked as tried onedifferent only.taste not highly impressed.but ok good

Best shawarma in kannur Town. All were well beyond my expectations. Everything is so fresh. Best authentic shawarma I have ever had. HASSAN MATHAR were out of this world. This place will knock your slippers off.

I tried their authentic arabic shawarma, authentic spicy shawrma and hassan mathar. All where so nice but not best or perfect. I liked their packing and they have many variety dishes. But seating capacity was very less. When I visited it was too crowded and they had bulk orders. If you want to eat peacefully I suggest you to visit there on non weekend times

They serve only different varieties of Shawarma's and chicken shawaya. Their authentic arabic shawarma was yumm! Must try for shawarma lovers. They also serve Mocktails and 'cherandi' - a sweet drink made of crushed ice and served with various flavours.
