Shines Tourist Hotel

Went here to have lunch on Sunday with my family, ordered 2 chicken biryani, 1 fish biryani and 1 meal thali. Just after we were having this food, we got the bill placed on the table and the guy who took our order and got our bill asked if we needed any ice cream. Later I asked why we got the bill just after we started to eat, he said we were finished. Very strange. I won't blame him but the management, as how they train their staffs.
In the end, ordered ice cream, we got 2 ice creams, but we were charged for 3. They rectified it after I informed them.

Once upon a time shines was the fan favorite biryani in panthalam. But today I bought a beef biryani (biriyani in name only a dish made with curry made with a little bit of mutton and a little liver and covered with fried rice) I have never eaten such a dirty biryani anywhere else and 210+tax for this cop

The food was not very good quality and was overpriced. Don’t spend your money there. Thattukada and local hotel foods are much tastier than shines.

HORRIBLE PLACE. Avoid at all costs.

We ordered fish, it is not good in taste and we complained to waiters but no response from them. Very poor customer service and taken fish rate 300. It is not about the rate the behavior of staffs there.we didn't touch the fish. Last time one of the waiter came and told me that they will help next time.

Average experience.but one of the most good restaurant among pandalam compare to Iftar and Vinayaka

Few years back shines hotel was famous for their food. It was the high class restaurant available in pandalam. Then the quality became worst and from past two years they are coming back to their previous glory with good food, service and ambience.

Bar attached hotel in pandalam town. This hotel is one of the oldest bar hotels in the town. Restaurant food is good and priced reasonably. Parking is available on the back side of the hotel. The local bar is fully crowded with regular customers.

Had lunch last week. Horrible experience. The service staff were rude and it seems they had an internal understanding that only meals and chicken biriyani will be served during lunch hours. But the way the staff expressed this decision was in a rude manner.

The chicken biriyani served was below standards. The service persin did not even serve water. After we requested a couple of times, he served hot water towards the end of our meal

Meals was not good. Aavoli Fish fry was very bad. Biriyani just ok. Staff are rude and behaves unprofessionally.

I saw that the owner is responding to all the reviews. I'm not sure if he has placed some one to do so. I'm an educated drunkard roaming around this place from so long. Today I reached the backyard after my hectic work asking to get me entry to buy a beer. I knew the bar is gonna close by 11. Since this bar was the nearest to serve me with a drink. I rushed to the place by 10.45. Kf beer was available. But I had to give them 200bucks for that. I agreed But at the backyard I had a too bad experience. Let the owner respond to this comment. Then will tell you what happened.

Yesterday just ordered the food over phone and waited more than 45min in the reception for the parcel which is a worst experience.

It might be the oldest and famous restaurant nd hotel in pandalam.but the food they provide, is very bad.the biriyani they served was utter flop.i won't go there,
