Shiva Ganga Houseboats

This guy is a cheater. Don't pay them upfront. In the site it shows kumarakom but they are from Alleppey. I wrote several mails to them on booking confirmation but no response from them at all. After reaching kumarakom, they said that the houseboat is from Alleppey.
Worst guys. Don't get cheated.

We took a 5 bed boat house for one day trip. Service was excellent and food was tasty. We had a wonderful time. Only one issue is that the boat was very old one and not so clean.

Booked single room house boat for 8000 rs for me, wife and 3 children, 2 children below 5 years (twins) All passenger details mentioned at time of booking. Before start of Journey they asked 1500 additional for my 3 kids for food. Very painful business trip and insulting my kids, charged additional 29 percentage for food of small kids

Budget friendly but ac only starts after 9 PM & u charge ur accessories after reaching the kumarakom.

Awesome trip must visit. Food was also great there will be cook inside the boat and a sailor.safe place for couples. One day night stay in the boat was nice where you can enjoy the nature a lot.

Wonderful experience, great food especially the crab curry and prawn fry. Boat facility is also great. The only boat with ac in the common area.

It was really an awesome trip. But the boat will be different from the images that were shown at the time of booking. We were a group of 4 people. We actually booked for 2 bedroom houseboat and they gave us 2 rooms in a 5 bedroom houseboat.another 2 couples were also there in the houseboat.that people were nice, so it didn't affect our privacy. At the time of booking, they asked us to board from alapuzha.but we we reached alapuzha, they called us and told that we have to board from kumarakom and the boat will be 5 bedroom and 2 more families will be there.so we again had to drive one more hour. So please make sure about your boarding point, at the time of booking. 12pm was our check in time and we reached there by only 1pm. The other family also came late and the boat started at 2pm only. They gave us lime juice as welcome drink. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. When the boat started, they served lunch for us (for all the people in the boat together). It was really an awesome lunch.very tasty kerala meals with karimeen fry. At 2.30 the boat stopped and we can see the places around and can take photographs. At 3pm the boat again started. They served evening snacks and tea/coffee also.then after 5.30 they stopped.and we can visit the nearby village. We bought tiger prawns and crab and the boat people cooked that for us for our dinner.in addition to that they served friedrice chapathy and chicken curry also.
They will on the ac in the room at 8pm only.and at 6 am they will off it. The breakfast was also good.they served idli and chutney for us.and tea/coffee. After 15 minutes of boating in the morning, it was time for our check out at 9 am.
Overall it was really a good trip.tasty food.
