We were a family of 4 with 2 seniors. The seniors took the boating experience while we wanted to try out kayaking. It was the first time for us. The team was very kind, knowledgeable & took great care to ensure we enjoyed our experience. Our guide Jason was wonderful and took our time to help take pictures and record these memories.
The landscape added to the experience. Overall I highly recommend Shiva adventure experience.

Due to weather the kayaking got stopped half way. Next day they took us again for the full stretch.

Good kayaking experience closer varkala. If you do not have time to go all the way upto munroe forests. Also they do not have any time schedule. You can land up anytime before sunset. Very friendly and cooperative staff

Booked for 6 person on 27th of March, Mr. Jayan was very cordial and friendly and encouraged us to bring more members as there was less booking for the upcoming week. However we were unable to make it due to personal reasons, we informed the same to Jayan and requested a refund for the booking amount and that's when we came to know about the real Jayan. He refused, became aggressive and flipped the script by claiming that there was high number of bookings and we had taken up their time and space. We apologized for the inconvenience caused and requested half the booking amount as refund to which he agreed.

It has been three weeks and he has not yet refunded us.

Great people and great experience at Shiva Kayaking. So moved by the simplicity of these folks and the genuine care they showed. This one will be etched on my mind forever.

Definitely worth it. Great experience. Try to go in the morning or evening. It will be very unpleasant in the afternoon. Good guides and nice management. Great place to go with family and friends.

We had a great 2 hour kayaking trip with our guide, it was just two of us and a guide who seemed very knowledgeable and it was nice to learn more about the area. Would reccomend

Shiva kayaking is a professionally run set up well worth your time. We got Praveen as our instructor. Very experienced and pleasant. Took us kayaking for 2 hours in Anjangode lake to Ponthuruthe Island. Praveen knew all the birds and identified them for us. They gave us drinking water which was much needed. If you are seeking adventure in Varkala check them out.

Would highly recommend. Very fun and calm ride. There isn't much to do at the island but the ride is completely worth it. The guide was very friendly and clicked great pics and vids for us too

One of the beautiful experience of water life with Shiva Kayaking. All the credits of to my instructor " Jayan Sir" to made it possible for me. He explained the details very well and good care about the safety too. I recommend him as a instructor and Shiva Kayaking, one of the best water adventure sports in Varkala, golden Island.

Most of us this is the first experience for kayaking. There Instructor also made us very comfortable and instruct very clearly.

The price is also very reasonable. We started at almost evening and ended at almost dark, that instructor almost nicely navigated us to complete.

Very nice location and facilities, top equipment, staff speaks good English, and the 2 hour kayaking experience was among the highlights of our trip

We went to shiva kayaking after asking from elixir resorts. It’s a Great place to spend your time during your visit to Varakala. The instructors were very friendly and polite. It’s around some 2 hours experience. They teach you all the basics before you step into the kayak. The instructor was very polite and helpful even though we were late for our session. It’s a round trip through the island in the centre of the backwater. There’s also a temple that we could visit. If you’re planning to visit the temple make sure you guys plan accordingly beforhand. Take a set of dress with you so that you could change after the session. This was one of our best experiences during our trip to Varakala.

One of the best places for Kayaking. The instructor gives a very brief demonstration and explains everything you need to know if you're doing this for the first time. Staff is very friendly and good with conversations. Would definitely recommend this place!

That was good experience doing kayaking.must mention about Ashok sir the instructor being super kind and a good companion who made the training and experience much better.
