I went there twice to repair philips mixi jar. Not yet solved my issue. They said spare parts will come next week. But nothing happened since then. Wrong information from unskilled staff. Wasting customers valuable time. It is reputed firm. But staff are not upto mark.

The store has a wide variety of utensils but the staff especially the one who handle repair and are there for helping us with utensils are not at all customer friendly once you r there to return ur purchased goods. I went to return two things one was defective dosa kallu and another a mixer jar that was not fitting my grinder. The person at the repair section wouldn't take it back and asked me to bring the grinding machine in order to make sure what I said was true. The person taking the dosa kallu said it is my fault that the kallu was a crack. The crack was visible once I heated the kallu. Imagine I had purchased both the items just 1 day before. I had to argue with them and still didn't get my money back but had to purchase goods worth the same amount ie Rs 1300. Very horrible and uncivilized staff. But one person the cashier was polite and helpful the only good part in that whole shopping experience.

One of the worst shops in the Chalai market. Customer service is very poor, staff behaviour is also very very worst. Poor quality products.
Don't waste your time and money to buy products from this shop.

One of the old and popular shops in Trivandrum. Many varieties of different household items are available in various ranges. It's always been a trusted name in terms of quality. Accepts card payment. Billing process is difficult as we have to go back all the way to collect the items. Customer service in general is not upto the mark. They're not much interested in helping the customer.

A one stop solution place for all household requirements especially the kitchen related products

Very poor service from tamil staff members. Their bahaviour is also very bad. Tamil people rule there! Products are too expensive compared to other shops in trivandrum. Nobody is there to question. That is why they charge around 4-8 times per item. Really i dont recommend this shop.

GOT CHEATED!
My mother brought a preethi mixer grinder from here in February worth aprox 9k and theybsaid warranty card will be put inside the box and so will be the bill. My mother who was naive believed them and when she reached home there was no bill or warranty card. When she called them they played innocent and said if she needs anything repair wise they will do it. Then within a month (march) the mixie stopped working and my mother who has health issues and trouble walking, again had to go all up till chalai market and walk till their shop. All this to face rude staff who completely ignored her and blatantly asked to give the bill that they never gave. She was helpless and needed the mixie to work. Hence they made her pay for it. Then now after 3 months again the mixie has stopped working. I mean, we have used preethi for a decade. How can this happen within days of purchase? And why can’t they provide warranty to old customers who aren’t aware of their rights or regulations? NEVER BUY FROM HERE!

I too had a bitter experience with rude and impolite staff behavior. In the review, it can be seen that many customers raised this issue. The management did not make any serious note of this important aspect of customer service and kept on taking a lenient view. If it goes unchecked, it will have serious implications in the future.

We had plans to buy quite a few items from there but ended exchanging just one pressure cooker and just took off from there.

I called up their shop to see if they can buy/exchange some old steel vessels and over phone they agreed to buy them. They said they can buy pressure cookers even though those were Aluminium. When we brought the items there, they turned the plates. The sales person told us that they would only take pressure cookers and we have to buy only cookers in exchange and that too from Prestige. They blatantly refused to buy the steel vessels. Carrying the old vessels through busy streets of Chalai market. It was a life changing experience! God bless the person who answered our calls.

How can I not write about the sales people there! They treated us as if they are paying from their pockets for the products we are buying. Their attitude was ridiculous, especially the person who was at the cooker section.

Thanks to S Ibrahim and Sons for spoiling my day! Shopping experience at S Ibrahim and Sons was an eye opener and I am not going to step inside that shop in my lifetime!

Best for steel utensils

Little bit rush while visiting there. All kinds of utensils and home appliances could be purchased. Also maintainance of old cookers and mixy jars could be made. But workers are not that friendly to customers.

Before ordering house hold items just visit here and study the price. I bought one prestige gas stove. In all sites and exclusive show room the price is just 25% discounted. But here they gave 30%. The salesman took the box and carried to my car. Very cooperative. I strongly recommend the shop. Once I visited for pressure cooker and mixie service. They do the service in front of us. Good shop.

Very good range of Kitchen and House appliances. I bought very thick Steel [not non-stick] pans from here [Manufacturer: Vinod] - sturdy, ergonomic design and pan comes with thickest bottom also weights more compared to other brands.

The access road to this shop is narrow and better visit in a two wheeler. But this is one of the best available shops for utensils and kitchen necessities. I also provides service for electric items like mixer grinders. Also we can get spare parts of any worn out utensils like pressure cooker etc.

1st class blade in town. They charge 50rs for a tea spoon which only costs 10rs in other shops. If you see this shops name somewhere around try to avoid for gods sake.

All kind of products available at this shop. Good quality items but not cheap in price. It's quite difficult to find out the shop (when we entering from Gandhi park aftr 300m right path. The shop at the end of that way).

Ok. Get most things under one roof. Defect is some staff are rude, some very polite. Most days I visit there, I have noticed issues clients have with rude staff, and good staff pitch in to save the situation.

Very good shopping mall at Chalai, Trivandrum. They have almost all sorts of plastic items, carpets for day-to-day use, clocks, gift items, repair of pressure cookers, mixies, etc. The price is very reasonable and genuine spares.

You get everything here but they won't pack it. Even if it is a large vessel or a cooker you will not get a carry bag even if you are ready to pay. Once the bill is paid, it's your responsibility to take all the things unpacked and clear the place immediately.

S ibrahim & CO is well defined all in one kitchen appliances store in the thiruvaanthapuram city. It has a vast area of different and different items with law price. The one difficult task is to find the store by ourself bcoz it's a little inside a narrrow road. But as the shop is very famous in the city, if you ask anyone you can easily find the shop. It's a good shop. It don't have an air condition.
