It’s a idea of a great traveller santhosh geoge kulangara. Old Kerala style houses and traditional buildings created here. Very good place for couples We got a nostalgic feeling of heritage It’s an island, ecofriendly with good ambience Ayurvedic treatment is also available The worst part is food is not upto the mark and very much costly
Wonderful idea of a great traveller santhosh geoge kulangara.its ancient architecture which is recreated using master pieces, about 250 years old, disbanded from their actual site.
This place has seen better days. Looks tatty, dirty table cloths in the restaurant, dirty sheets in the bedrooms. Food was OK, service was average. Amazing location on an island though.
Memorable stay.polite staff. Soma Kerala Palace different from other holiday resorts is its ancient architecture which is recreated using master pieces, about 250 years old, disbanded from their actual site. The backdrop of the lilting backwaters and the swaying palms makes the setting picture perfect. It is one place where you will find all your worries ebbing away and your spirits elevating. So take a break from the monotony of daily life to experience Kerala the way it is.
Awesome place to relax. Sunset and Sunrise views are very nice. You can enjoy air in coconut garden or you can enjoy sunset from swimming pool. This is an island so everything here is costally.
Location was very lovely. But in some of the rooms maintenance is needed. Food wasn't so good. Foreigners were getting more priority than Indians. Toilets weren't so clean and room service wasn't regular.
Wonderful location. Hotel on a island. Ambience too good, old and rustic feel to the rooms, Superb antique locks, food on the costlier side but tastewise fantastic. Multiple breakfast options in buffet. Overall great if you want a silent getaway from the crowd
Situated in its own island. The authorities offer to and fro transport from a place where cars can reach. You can't get anything other than what they offer at the restaurant, once you reach the island, so carry anything (e.g, baby food etc) beforehand. The resort is more like a yoga resort, so not a lot of activities other than a swimming pool and hammocks all over the place.
I personally went to this place last year and believe me you will love this place Old like designed infrastructure fishing, etc so cool and noise free enviornment
Best resort with great view of fish net n backwaters.u can enjoy n relax, u can get an ayurvedic massage.need to travel by boat to reach there, which will be arranged by resort.rooms are like old wooden designs everything maintained well by staff.restaurant n food was ok.need to ask for resort wifi connection which work properly there.overall nice place to hangout with family n friends
Good location on an island. You need to travel by boat to reach there, which the hotel will take care. Rooms are decent and bathrooms are average. Property is a very good one. Restaurant is not so good.
We stayed there as a group of friends with family the place itself was very wuite and the ayurvedic massages were excellent, rooms were clean but the air-conditioning were not working in few rooms and the service was not up to mark, the food was not of expected quality as there was not much of the kearala traditional food in the menus and the food service was very slow. The kitchen and dining needs hygiene saw rats running on the plates and cutlery in the mornings. The food and hygiene needs to be looked after otherwise the place itsrlf was quiet and scenic. I would recommend only for a great ayurvedic massage.

Resort is not worth of money. Attitude of staffs was very rude.customer satisfaction is less priority for them. The way they behave to foriegners and Indians are different. A/c was not working we shifted the room because of problems with A/c but faced the same issue in the new room was unable to sleep during night.only thing that was satisfactory was the restaurant, eventhough most of dishes were very costly. This was the worst resort we have every stayed. Our experience in the resort was very bad so that we wont recommend to anyone.

Wonderful location, delicious food, quality Ayurveda treatment. We had mosquitoes in the room but administration promised to install mosquito nets in the near future.
