Warning!

It's a good and decent convention centre but with many illogical restrictions.

They have so many restrictions. They will not tell you anything about it until they take the initial Rs 10,000 non refundable payment.

- They have no electricity outlet for almost anything, even after paying Rs 2.5 Lakhs. They want you to take another generator for extra money.
- They will give only 5 hours to set the stage. No compromise. This can adversely affect the stage decorators to do their work properly.
- They will not allow the stage decorators to tape their own carpet to prevent people from tripping. No cellotape or tape should be used in the premises. Even if it doesn't touch their wall or floor.
- Various Decoration items are not allowed. Please check with them.
- They will not allow to set a small tea stall (with small flame burner) in the open area (they fear it will burn their building and wall)
- The Air Conditioning takes time to cool the hall. So pre cool accordingly. They have a 4 hour hard limit on the AC.

They have just too many restrictions that seem illogical and unreasonable.

If you are booking their hall please check with them whatever you need before you sign the agreement.

Also before signing their document read all the restrictions very carefully.

They have decent hall and basement, But they ruin the customer experience with unnecessary restrictions.

The overseer/manager doesn't care about customer satisfaction and act like they are the only convention centre.

It's a good and decent convention centre but be aware of the things mentioned.

Wonderplace. Beautiful ambience. Very helpful security personnel. Parking was no hazard because of them. Unlike the normal Malayali they were smiling too.

No washroom on the central reception hall is a lacuna. It needs to be addressed. People can fall and injure themselves especially if they are aged.

The decorative work on the ceiling is imaginative. Good facilities for guests who arrive early.

Spacious interiors and beautiful outdoors suitable for photoshoots. Car parking amply available. But price is a wee bit high

Just loved it.

Parking space is not allotted properly. Entry and exit are the same creating unnecessary chaos. Lack of lighting at the entrance. Nice ambiance inside the hall. Spacious.

Good ambience, eventhough it's situated very near to the road.
If parking space inside compound of auditorium is filled, there is another space available on opposite side of the road.

Wash area is also neat compared to other halls.

The seats are really comfortable with extra cushion padding added to conventional plastic chairs. The air conditioning is really good. Balcony seats are also available above. The dining area is big. The wash area is really clean & taps are placed with more than enough distance between them so that one can wash comfortably without any crowding. Parking space is less. Overall it's a really large hall with comfortable seats & AC.

Large spacing can contain about 1000 people, but eating area is abit small also for marriage purposes you might need to make use of the led displays as some audience sitting might have difficulty in watching the ceremony if there are too many cameramen and their assistents. Also you might need to pay attention to the eating area as it lacks proper management other than these the rest are good to go. The whole building has centralised air-conditioning and the parking facility is also pretty good.

Dinning hall is large accommodates almost 300 people at a time.

Attended a Wedding Ceremony on 31/01/2020 in the convention centre located on MC Road. It is an ideal Place for hosting functions attended by large gathering up to 1000. The decor and ambience is very good. Facilities for hosting Dinner party also exist. Ample parking space is available in and outside the centre.

Very convenient place for family functions like marriage etc. Spacious and has vehicle parking facility. Near to my house less than one km.

I visited this hall only for couple of times but it's a big hall and large seating capacity and clean.

Sizeable and well-ordered, the hall boasts the flair of any event held in it.

It can accommodate about 350-400 people in a dining arrangement, and 700-800 people in a theatre-style arrangement of chairs. There is a buffet hall in the basement which can seat up to 400 people in dining arrangement. They even have a balcony where about 150 seats are fixed in theatre style. The entrance to the hall is a grand uprising stairs and then to a large foyer. Washrooms also have ample space within and enough faucets for quick washes and dispersal of large crowd. The entry and exit to the Buffet hall is a bottleneck as it is through one door each. As wide as the stage is, it also has two simple green rooms on its rear. The backstage are is also big enough for off-stage planning.

But they are really short of parking space in house. They have acquired a plot in the neighborhood which can accommodate the excess cars during a function, but the plot is at a distance which is distressing.

Their service areas and the rear kitchen areas are a bit messy, but way better than its counterparts in the city.

But for what it is worth, the hall is a safe deal. The stateliness of the hall can be seen while simply passing along the MC road itself.

Excellent facility for wedding, huge parties or events. Seating capacity is over 1000. Dining facility is very good as well. Caterers have good kitchen facility to prepare food

Beautiful hall everything perfectly done. Ample space for car park n all. Neat n clean. Can see. Ducks there will be more happier for children.

Very bad hospitality and a lot of conditions. Not recommenting at all. There are more better halls in tvm, sooryaprabha is nonfriendly

The venue is good but it had rained on 30 November 2019 we friends had been to Trivendrum for a friend's son's marriage. The floor remained wet n swam, The lighting arrangements, chairs, n the stage was good. Food wasn't tasty should have had a separate counter for non veg items. Foods not arranged in an order, sweets n ice cream counter was on the opposite side far from food counter, there was no tissue papers had to come back to main food counter to fetch the tissues, there was no display boards to show sweets n ice cream counters. Should have given importance to the taste of food there was no white rice or curd rice. The appetite of Bangaloreans wasnt satisfied by the keralites food I suppose.

A pretty good auditorium thats evidently well maintained. Apart from the parking space inside the compound, they have a parking lot across the road as well.

One of the best convention centres in tvm. It's organisation and arrangements are really markable. The light and sound is too good. And it is fully Air conditioned.

A comparatively high cost convention centre and marriage hall at Mannanthala by the side of MC Road in Thiruvananthapuram district.

Good place. Both floors are air conditioned and has ambient space for parking with one parking ground across the road.

Never felt like it's 15 years old, the auditorium is exceptionally well maintained, Great place to invite your loved ones for a reception. The first thing I noticed was the well kept wash rooms and even the attitude of the securities is very much pleasing. Very spacious auditorium never felt congested even if 2000 people come all at one, the air conditioning was working perfectly fine, and for Hindu weddings they are providing underneath a dining hall were approximately 500 people can sit at once.

The aesthetics of the hall is very much impressive, there is ample amount of parking space also. It's designed in such a way that every vehicle can drop the people at entrance and take the car for parking.

The auditorium is very big and spacious. It is fully air-conditioned. For parking there is space inside the Auditorium and also there is a seperate parking ground opposite. It is very nice and very hygiene and clean.

Located a bit away from the Trivandrum city but away from traffic. Has a seating capacity for around 850 people. Fully air conditioned hall and ootupura. The best thing about this hall would be the spacious parking area and well maintained premises by the coordinators. The downside of the hall would be that the stage can accommodate only around 20 people at a time. This becomes an issue during the wedding photography.

Surya prabha convension Centre is good and huge auditorium in mannanthala via state highway trivandrum. Big and beautiful Hall and dining hall also. Fully air-conditioned.

Very Good Auditorium. Can Accomodate roughly around 1000 to 1200 people in itz Air Conditioned Marriage Hall. Very nice dining area with around 350 people can dine at the same time. More than 200 cars can be parked inside in its parking area and a lot can be parked outside. In total, an International standard convention Centre.
