Sopanam Gents PG

I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay near Vyttila Hub.

Overall the place is ok, 3 storie building, accommodates more than 30 person on all rooms for the time being, people are friendly.

Sir and his family were good with me felt like family and the hostel ambiance was good felt like school hostel and roomates were comfortable to talk and good people. I just stayed for three days due to some reason i wanted go back to my place. I never felt like outsider.

I recently moved to Kochi and was looking for a place to stay. I stumbled upon Sopanam Gents PG and it far exceeded my expectations. It is extremely conveniently located, the amenities are top notch, the facilities are well maintained and the owner Anil chettan is friendly & helpful.

I'm so glad I chose Sopanam Gents PG, it's definitely the best boys stay in Vyttila!

According to my anecdotal, this hostel gives a feel of refresh and extremely comfortable. It feels like our own residence rather than just a mantion. The place is really neat and tidy in terms of cleanliness. Specifically, Anil Ettan who has taken great effort and innitiative to run this safety accommodation. People near by Vytilla or some distance near to Vytilla can Prefer this hostel. Interesting thing is Metro and Bus Hub is located nearby. Additionally Various Steert food as well as restaurant's are available close by. Overall this is calm and peaceful hostel.

Hostel with limited facilities, high rent and a greedy arrogant owner

I stayed here for around 4 months and let me tell you,
1. I paid very high rent for basic facilities. I was not knowing it until i visited some other hostels.
2. The owner is the most greedy and arrogant man I have ever seen in my life. He visits the room like a spy agent and wants to know things even we discuss with our friends.
The way he ask for the rent will make you feel as if you have never paid any rent to him.
3. They calim that they serve the best food in the town, however that's not true. Dinner and breakfast are average while lunch is worst.
4. Also I remember an incident where he shouted at us for getting late (10: 30pm only).

Sopanam is one of the best PGs I stayed. Its almost two months back I stepped into this hostel, which turns out to be my second home to say. When I ponder back, I'm reminded of the warm welcome I received form Anil ettan (the owner), as I came to enquire about the rooms, even during the peak of the pandemic situation.
What I like the most abou the hostel is, it's neat and clean. And the hostel is located near Vyttila mobility hub, Vyttila metro station and near to the junction, which make easy for traveling, shopping etc.
A big thanks to Anil ettan for his friendly approach and making me feel at home.

It was a great experience staying in the Sopanam PG. It was very homely and the family who was managing the PG were very friendly and helpful. Also I have to mention about their food, it was very homely and of great ​quality. They gave the same food which they made for their family. I stayed their for 1.3 years and I can say that this is the best PG in the city without any thought. Thank you Anil Uncle for the wonderful accomodation!

Stayed here for 2 month and i think best place for those who looking for homely food and stay. The rooms are well maintained, regularly cleaned and spacious also.close to vyttila metro station, main road and Vyttila junction.

This is one of the best PG's that I have stayed so far. I found a review degrading the accommodation. One of the reasons why I am putting this up is also because I want people to know the reality. The image shown here is the actual image of the PG. In fact it is the front side. The PG is attached to the house of the owners (which is in the ground floor) which allows both security and monitoring. The rooms are very well kept and cleaned on almost all days. As a resident, you are supposed to bring your own pillow covers and bedsheets. The food tastes amazingly good because it is home made by the owners with their own hands. They behave very good to you. There are no restrictions for anyone to go home or go out on weekends. There is zero tolerance for drinking and smoking pot. The house owners are like an extended family. They will keep the gates open if you are coming home by late, they will even keep your food after the time if you are caught up in prior commitments or so. The fee is only 2500 per bed for accommodation. It is very reasonable. Compared to where my friends are living, I highly recommend Sopanam Gents PG to everyone.:)

This is my last day in sopanam. I left the pg with teary eyes after speaking with chetta &chechi (owner). They will treat like their own son, they will help you, guide you and support you for all your needs. It will satisfy all your expection -like neat and clean rooms & wash rooms, homely food, good drinking water, washing area, dinning area, & parking too. Thanks chetta and chechi for your love and support, had created good memories here, lifelong to cherish.

Sopanam home stay is simply amazing. It's really a good place to stay. I had a great experience there. All the rooms are well maintained and it makes a good atmosphere there to live. Anilettan and family are so kind. Accommodation without food is just 2500, it's really hard to get such a good place like this.

Very bad experience and very bad behavior from the house owner. So if
if you want stay in Ernakulam don't choose this pg it's wasting your time.

I had a very good experience living at this hostel.being born and raised in Mumbai, I never felt I missed my home. It’s because the environment, the food, the room and everything is at the point that I believe if anyone who comes here to live don’t really worry this will be the best accommodation you’ll ever get.it’s way to hygienic and the food is home cooked and it’s really good.

I’ll be really missing this place as it’s been my second home️
