Nice pool, food was great, rooms were okayish. One of the fan's were faulty. There's no network reception but wifi is available. Good overall.

A fine place to enjoy in togetherness.we were a group of ladies.safe and clean premises.tasty and homely food was provided. The pool was well maintained.room services were praise worthy.altogether a fine place to enjoy and stay with friends or family

Resort nice experience.we booked the entire resort for one night. And the pool was awesome but the location not ok because of the climate. In spring season we visited there. So I don't suggest this resort stay in spring season

We hosted a wedding after party and stayed there with my friends and family. Had a memorable time there. Service was really good and they delivered all that they had promised. Great Ambience at night specially with lights.

Picturesque location overseeing a pondage connected to Periyar river. The owner Jose is enthusiastic, responsive and helping. I spent three pleasant days here on my anniversary. There is no room service and food has to be ordered well in advance from a cloud kitchen which is very good. The room however are too small cramped up and poorly ventilated. Don't choose the wooden cottage which though looks good from outside is not very comfortable and lack privacy. The hot water system was not working in peak tourist season. There is a pretty plunge bath outdoors which needs maintainance and the broken tiles can cut. The water was ok only first two days I stayed.
At 3500 per day the place is definitely overpriced for the facilities and comfort offered.
I recommend it for singles and bikers who are ready to rough it out just for the location and for conducting overnight events as there is plenty of space. This is definitely not a place for a family holiday unless you have a huge group. Please check in advance if there are any drinking parties planned during the stay. I was the lone occupant of the whole property so I didn't have a problem.

Things to do: visit bird sanctuary, iron bridge, do the morning kayaking trip to the reserve forest, old dam site of bhootenketu through eco tourism. Walk around the place and chill.

Stayed there with my friends for a birthday occasion. Had a memorable time there. Service was too good. When about the ambience it's much appreciated, & we had a good space. Could have maintained a little more. There is a separate space for dining space that is very convenient & cool. Also there are few calm places to sit & relax.

But pool is poorly maintained. My foot got injured while playing in pool. Lots of broken floor tiles. So be careful before playing in pool esp childrens

Had an amazing staycation here. Overall the ambiance was absolutely brilliant. The property had good rooms and had common areas. Staffs were realy friendly and surroundings are super panoramic. Since the resort was near Inchathotty suspension bridge was able to see amazing sunrise. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Very bad place to stay with family, good for bachelors though, we stayed with family, couldn't sleep a bit, continuous power failures, drunken people and smoke was everywhere and loud music and noise was up till 4 in the morning. Since it is wooden structure we could hear everything going on in other rooms. Majority of rooms were lent to bachelors even though while booking we were promised no bachelors will be allowed if we stayed. Pool was not well maintained. Food, room and caretaker was good but the whole experience was ruined because of this and was a very unpleasant stay. Would never recommend to families.

Great place, warm hospitality and AMAZING food.perfect cut_off getaway_just Nature and us. The setup and decor is simple, but loaded with rustic charm. A pleasant highlights was the natural stream flowing adjacent to the property. Special thanks to owner Binoy Peter and caretaker Eldhose for arranging a truly wonderful, home_in_jungle experience.

Not inside the forest area as specified. But great Ambience and well kept for a weekend picnic getaway. Also great for conducting functions.

Excellent place to stay with family and friends in the lap of coll and calm nature. It is adjacent to Bhothathankettu dam reservoir

Ac was not working when arrived.
Rooms were not cleaned properly.only 1 bath towel/room is the resort policy.
No restuarants nearby.in-house food was OK.

Overall not recommended.

Location and Buildings are good, but no proper maintenance, also difficult to manage if all rooms are booked.we feel crowded in common areas like pool, lawn etc

We had a really memorable stay at Sparrow Vale. The resort is situated in picturesque location. The paddy fields ahead of the resort were filled with water, so we practically had a riverside stay. The night sky was clear and dreamy. We spent a lot of time in the pool on the property as well, looking out at the view. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The property itself has heritage rooms with wooden walls in Kerala style architecture. The entire feel is of walking into an 'illam'. The place is great for groups to stay. Barely a couple of hundred meters away from the resort, kayaking is available as well against yet another gorgeous backdrop. The bird sanctuary is nearby as well. Mr Sijo and Alwin treated us more like family than guests. Recommended with as many stars as the ones dotting the night sky!

Had a great break here.serene water front resort.kids enjoyed at the pool.very comfortable air conditioned rooms.

Plz never visit this place.they r really rude.i never knew someone could behave this poorly to anyone.its not at all worth the money

Very very very bad experience…. The wrst stay ever and the staff behaviour was so rude…. Dirty stay…. Rooms and bathrooms were not clean…. Never suggest this resort ever

It is a beautiful location at the lap of nature to relax with family or friends. It is most suitable for family gathering, birthday parties, photoshoot, etc.

Good rooms.however you will hear the sound from other room.

Wonderful place to hangout with friends & family. Me & my family spent a wonderful day & night at the resort. The pool was the awesome and well maintained. Kids pool was really a great. Kids enjoyed so much. Food was nice. Scenic places around. A day spent well there. A special thanks to the care taker. He was friendly and always there for any helps.

It located in remote place. Only BSNL and Jio has tower airtel and other network doesn't work. The resort was superb and there is a lot of space for family functions. Resort is very couple friendly. And the food were awesome. There is no restaurant here. But Food will be arranged as per order. The swimming pool was awesome and its very neat and clean. Resort was very attractive during night with all lights. Got a double room at a price or 2500, above rates are during working days. Weekends it may varies to 3000 per room. Anything can be ordered here. Only Normal rates for food. Better for night stay.

Excellent stay and service! We, 6 families, stayed there on 27th for our B. Tech get together. This place is very calm, facing the paddy fields, and has all the basic amenities. Sujith is a great host and took care of all our needs. Lunch, dinner, breakfast all items were delicious and made to our liking. The pool was small but very clean and kids just loved the kid's pool. We were in pool for more than 2 hours for sure.

Overall excellent experience. Definitely will recommend this place for family get togethers.

No pool. No hot water. Unfurnished rooms. No tv. Wasps in tree house. No kitchen. Please improve.

Nature in the best form. Vast area for get-together, conferences etc. Very calm and quiet. Water view rooms and parking facilities. AC rooms and Illam, tree house, beautiful swimming pool etc.
