We enjoyed our stay at Spice Fields Cottage. Thanks to the caretaker Nikhil for taking care of us.

Absolutely Fantastic stay. We group of family stayed here for 4nights and we enjoyed a lot during our stay. The campfire on nights too good. The food they provide at extra cost is worth or you can order for nearby restaurant and I would recommend to order food from Thoufeeque Restaurant in Meenangadi. Overall an Fantastic place to stay with family or friend's. Had 3 bedrooms and four extra single beds in top of hall. Had some board games in the house itself pls there is an projector in the hall if u have laptop you can use it. There is an swimming pool by little walk. Special mention to the owner of the cottage and the caretaker Jins who made sure available for our needs. If there is Little more utensils in the kitchen would be helpful. Go and enjoy beautiful and peaceful stay @ Spicefields Cottage.

Very tidy and lovely house with lush green gardens and a small banana tree field outside. The price was reasonable as well. The host Vinoth and caretaker Nikhil were reachable whenever we had any clarifications and whenever we needed any additional stuff. The house and rooms are equipped with everything which you would need. Washrooms are clean and have continuous hot water supply.

There's also a swimming pool, which was good enough, as they change the water once every week and filter the water frequently. It's not a private pool but you can book a slot for yourself for privacy. There's also a lake right next to the pool, and you can do boating and fishing in the lake.

Apart from this, we had TV and carroms at home. You will also get a projector and you can use it to connect it your phone or pendrive and watch the already downloaded movies.

You can a bit extra for setting up barbeque at night. You will have to buy your own meat though.

Pros:
# tidy and clean place
# comfortable and equipped with facilities
# host and house help were very receptive and reachable

Cons:
# the only con I can think was that the place was a bit far from Kalpatta bus stop. But that's not an issue as the host will help in arranging a transport for you. Considering the facilities provided, I think this point is negligible.

Over all, it was a comfortable and awesome stay!

High cost and low fecilities
Yes they provide swimming pool but it's only 100 SQ (very smal). It's like a kid's pool also this small pool is for 7 resorts.so please calculate atleast 7 guests in one cottage it will be more than 40.how can you accomodate 40 people in that small swimming pool?

We wait atleast one hour for entering the pool also the water deapth is only one meter. Other amenity also same
We arrived there 4 pm but the resort was not cleaned.cleaning staffs came there after we arrived
And regarding the food all the standard resorts giving brake fast at free cost in here we need to pay 150 per head.it's ok but they have buffet but the buffet is only idli sambar and bread &jam also we have to wait for cooking

And for lunch we requested but at afternoon they said they can't provide

And the rooms are good but messed up the bed sheets toilet door handle was broken

3 sit outs in that resorts three of them was dirty with foot steps of dogs

The resorts is not same like the display picture.if you book there for same resort in the picture you will be highly disappointed

I stayed more than 10 resorts in Wayanad but this was my worst experiance in Wayanad

Overall I can't felt we stayed a resort it's like an average Kerala home stay

The cottage is well maintained with all necessary amenities. The location is really nice. We had a really nice time barbecuing and chilling there. The nearby pool is good and there are activities like fishing, table tennis, indoor games etc. The owner Mr Vinny was very helpful and was in touch everytime we needed something. The room service is good. Breakfast was excellent. Overall we had a nice time there and I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing stay with family/ friends.

The ambience is great, you will get the whole nature feel inside the resort. The rooms are big and clean, a small but good pool, and greenery everywhere.

Food is okay and staffs are cooperative, the resort is spacious that you can have a long walk inside the resort itself.

The resort is located in a very quiet area couple kilometers away from kenichira, it has great facilities (cozy and very clean rooms) and the most kind and helpful staff. Its great for families and people who seek relaxation, we stayed almost two days, everything was perfect (room service, delicious food). It was a great experience!

The cottage and the location complements a perfect weekend getaway from Bangalore. The drive through the Bandipur forest was magical. We were able to spot some deers and wild animals. The cottage has a large living room with dining area. The bedrooms are cozy, spacious with high ceiling and has a clean attached bathroom. The caretaker of the property Nikhil was very kind enough and patient to answer our queries. The biriyani and the fish curry meals is nothing short of a heaven.

We definitely recommend Spice Fields Cottage in Wayanad and would love to come back again!

We enjoyed lots

The place is good and staffs are courteous but the food was really bad and the entire trip was spoiled because of that. Moreover climate was a big negative. We had to cut short or trip due to food and climate. Overall a Nice location and they have maintained it well. All amenities were there and it will be great for family get together or for friends, if they improve the quality of food.
