Honestly, the flavor of the dishes was flat, the curries were very brothy and not very spicy.

Very bad experiance.
Service was delayed, were not even served water even after asking multiple time. The food serving took more than 1 hour in the name of freshly prepared home food with no taste and when on reorder (because of children and quantity) we asked what will be served quickly and they advise our previous order can be served fast and in that name they just mixed water in left over of earlier preparation and served to us and on our asking they simply said you wanted fast so we added water and served you and shameless staff charged the full for the dish. Will never recommend this to any one

If u need to learn about plants, u can go, but don't buy anything in there, were its 3 times costly then the market value. Were they said that we r having extreme quality, as not like that. All r same

Delicious Kerala food as if you were going to a relatives house. You can see right into the kitchen so can see all of your food being made!

You can have spicy or non spicy. The cardamom lassi was delicious!

Very good local restaurant in the village of Kumily. I ate there all my dinners! The chef is very talented, you can even watch how she cooks in her VERY clean kitchen:) several local dishes available, it’s a very good price for the quality you get. I recommend going to this restaurant at least once while you are visiting town!

Amazing homemade food cooked by an amazing chef! We came twice and butter chicken there was the best chicken we had in Kerala. Service was super nice and prices are cheap for the quality you get.

Amazing and delicious food! You can actually see how the lady who cooks is preparing your meals. And they are prepared on the spot, not re-heated from before. The surroundings are really cool as well as the restaurant is situated among the trees. Definitely worth a visit! We have gone there each evening we spent in Kumily.

Went for lunch here. The vibe is really cool and chilled out. The food takes a while as its cooked when the order is placed. And they keep in mind the customizations you want. For e.g less spicy or less oily.
But the food is worth the wait.
The owners are really polite and accommodating. The menu consists of both north and south indian dishes.

The knowledge we got about the spices were really interesting. A great place to visit if you are interested in spices

Menu pics uploaded are outdated. Taste is not up to the mark for the price of the food. Gobi 65 and gobi Manchurian was not well cooked. Veg kuruma was worse. Paneer capsicum masala and chapathi were the only good part.

Delicious food in a beautiful cool garden setting with very friendly and attentive staff. A great way to spend the afternoon with friends!

We ordered from their specials section, had beef uliathy and Malabar fish curry with coconut rice and paratha. They cook them one by one on the spot so took some time. Can taste all the effort they put in to make the food nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Checkout my other comments i almost nv give 5 stars

Delicious Indian food, the lady of the house who is also the cook and all the staff were very nice, we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. We are grateful that they prepared for us fresh pure vegetarian food.

Varied menu local and western dishes. We enjoy curries but for a change had grilled chicken, only small portion of vegetables but chicken breast and nicely seasoned.
Didnt enjoy so much chicken stuffed with spinach, asked for no chips but more vegetables but same as first time!

Excellent authentic Kerala cuisine. Loved the taste! Very reasonable rate too. The owner is not interested to pay "commission" to guides, in order to bring customers, thus not as popular as it should've been.
Accommodates special requests for dishes not part of menu. Large transparent window to the kitchen gives customers a view of how food is prepared - a nice move to bring confidence to customers.
Owner herself ensures that food prepared are to our liking.

Our favourite dinner in kerala! The most yummy veg kurma and dhal palak with garlic chapatis! Also in a beautiful outdoor setting surrounded with greenery

The food was ok. Strangely, the international dishes are a lot better than local ones. So if you are looking to eat some typical dishes, go somewhere else.

Other than that, the place is really cozy and friendly.

No alcohol served but a large range of fruit juices.

Wonderful ambience, freshly prepared, hygienic and delicious food. We had Malabar fish curry, mix vegetable curry and Kerala paranthas. Excellent preparations. The owner and the staff were very courteous. A must go place when in Thekkady
