SPOT ON 68462 Hotel Seaweed

The hotel refused to admit us despite having a valid booking unless we pay extra. Never go there, people with zero ethics!

Online the room was listed for 653rs but when we reached there they told that i have to pay extra to check-in. I paid extra 350rs to checkin. The rooms there are pretty disgusting and the room is not secure to place our belogings when we go out. For 1000rs there are better options near that Hotel itself. So my recomentation would be to choose that rather than this. This hotel looks like it came directly from 90s. Very bad experience and completly unhappy

They're all fraud.we booked through OYO and when we reached there they denied us checkin and asked us to pay double the booking amount. When the OYO staff called they didnt even pickup the call. The staff were rude and we had to take room in a different location. Never trust these frauds

Airy and large rooms / bathrooms.
However, no wifi Or TV. Claims to be a 3 star which is questionable.

Booked on agoda and had confirmed reservation however hotel manager didn't honour it. Claiming that was not the room rate. He said I could get refund from agoda. But not wanting the hassle, I paid the "extra". So overall price of room was not what I expected and one can get way better quality when paying Rs900/1000. Pn. So, shop around in low season. So in summary, saving grace is the room itself but I wouldn't recommend here for the price.

Please don't go here. Very bad experience and they are trapping customers. I booked a room there, when I reached there for check in they denied my booking and asked for extra money (which I think is not worth), caz they are total frauds. Guess what I didn't check in and I lost my money that I already paid for. But this is a lesson for me. Beware of such fraud hotels and its management.

Don't Book it Through Oyo. You will lose money and you can't get room.they will not accept Oyo Booking. Not only this hotel in Kovalam beach no one accept Oyo Booking.

We have booked this hotel in July 2022 through OYO. When we came to hotel to check in, they denied the check in and asking for hefty extra price. It's the same with everyone. Next day, we randomly met another people, their entry also denied and quoted for extra price. They quote less price in websites and charge more when you reach and helpless. Be aware of this fraudulence. Mostly the entire kovalam area is like this and we had a very bad experience with almost everyone. We were okay to pay the extra price and went to look at the rooms. The room was stinky and in very bad shape. It doesn't worth the price they ask. So, we cancelled the booking with Oyo and checked in, other hotel nearby. Surya beach resort also, owns by the same management. They also do the same fraudulence activities.

Worst experience.we had booked the room through oyo. We reached the hotel. Entry was denied as they ask for extra price for check in. They were telling the amount in oyo is not the actual price and we had to pay extra money for check in. Oyo is becoming a fake app with fake amounts

Very bad experience. Broken bed, no jet spray with commode. When we reached the hotel, they didn't accept our online booking from "Agoda app", and we had to paid pay extra amount. At last, very bad room service experience, they also didn't change the dirty bed sheet.

Good hotel with nice atmosphere. Well behaved staff. Provides you a calm and safe stay.
Also you'll get a very nice scenery of the sea from the balcony. Beach is really close to it.
Show and other restaurants are a little far for the hotel.
Only concern is about the hygiene which is most important in the pandemic situation.

A very poor hotel which advertises of having ac rooms, but when I reached there I learnt there are no ac rooms.

Always avoid this hotel.

Services like water, electricity could cut off any time without any notice.
They don't provide bedsheets or blankets for extra beds.
The hotel staff doesn't pay any attention to the requirements and calls of their customers.
Even though the location is good, this hotel does not worth money.

The worst hotel I've ever visited. Not even basic facilities like hot water electricity. Service is completely bad. May be any dharmshala would be better option than this.
