Springdale Heritage

This is a property situated on the banks of the Periyar river. I had a very comfortable stay at this property. You can enjoy the luxury and opulence while still being surrounded by nature. The property provides a soothing environment despite being not far away from the town.
The royal suite was commodious and equipped with all amenities. It had a patio that opened onto a garden from where you can enjoy viewing the Periyar river.
Food served here was delectable. Though the options were limited yet the chef was happy to tweak the menu as per our request. The Pollichathu here is worth trying. The restaurant staff is well-trained and cheerful. The only issue with the restaurant is that they may not serve the buffet breakfast in case of low occupancy.
The managers and other staff at the resort are helpful. Cleanliness standards are satisfactory. Travel reservations can be made through the resort.

We checked in for new year. Offered DJ and campfire. People were gathering around but they didn’t start the campfire saying they will start later. When we checked in later they said they didn’t start as people aren’t there. The DJ was putting high tech psy trance music for family and kids which was horrible. Altogether horrible experience

Beautiful property, well maintained, awesome service. Enjoyed the staycation thoroughly. Well mannered and friendly staff. Best choice for weekend getaways.

Lovely place for families and kids. Had good options for indoor games and place for outdoor activities. Food in restaurant was good but had more quantity and price bit high. Pool was closed due to covid restrictions.

Very close to town. In 1 mins walking distance u will get all things.nice and friendly staffs ready to help anytime. Rooms are clean, good food And calm atmosphere. Due to Covid pool is closed.

This resort is located close to Kumily highway. The room we got was spacious and very clean. I am very much happy that they upgraded our room. This resort has got a flowing river on one side and tea garden on another side. Lot of open spaces inside the resort will make kids happy. They have provisions for camp fire. The pool they provided was also nice, but we didn't used it due to covid reason. The only suggestion I would like to give is to provide more items in breakfast buffet menu.

I would appreciate the hospitality of them. Their play room and other amenities were really good. Even though there are ros for improvement. Electronic devices and wooden futures in room require periodic maintenance.

They rooms are spacious, clean and with a good view. Staff are extremely helpful from the receptionist to the chef and manager. You will not regret visiting this place. Also the ambience is traditional.

* Quite spacious and comfortable rooms. We have stayed in their cottage.
* Very greenary and well maintained lawns and garden.
* Very friendly staff.
* Quick response on room services.

Cons:

* Food was average.
* All essentials were not placed at room. We have asked them to provide dentel kit and extra towels.
* Need to improve the parking space.

Hotel premises are clean.
Rooms are spacious.
We had booked deluxe rooms.
Didn't get a tea bag even if they are telling it as a 4 star property.
Food in house is expensive.
Car parking is good.
Pool is available since covid we could not use it.
Unfortunately my fridge was not working.
Neighbouring the property there is a river but we could not enter it.
Lots of area for the kids to walk.
Even if it is located near the main road the property has ample area for everything.

Stayed for 2 days at Spring dale Resort. The review is based on my experience.
Prime location. Best Room Service. Good Food. Facilities for indoor games and over all well experienced staff.

It's an old property. Rooms were spacious but the corners of the room were not clean. Restroom was spotlessly clean. Wi fi was not available and phones were not working when we tried reaching the property for asking route. Food was ok. Property needs renovation and need to improve on the food

Damn. I spent my diwali with my family best here.

We travelled from tuti and ryt from the direct reservation to extending and saying bye. The service was phenomenon.

Rooms - cottages were best to my knowledge.spacious wooden worked theme.

Very peaceful along the river.

The GM and the front office staff offered us best services.

Cudnt use swimming pool due to covid.

It's far from Thekkady, kumily. One who wanted to visit Periyar nad near by has to stay at kumily

Good place to be with your family or with friends, cottages are good and facilities are proper, a little attention to detail required for the maintenance staff. Other than that everything was perfect except the views which the management cant do anything.

Good ambience. Close to the town and very well maintained. Comparing to other resorts this resort is cheap in cost but offers high in quality, hygiene, well behaved staffs.highly recommended to everyone.

It's an amazing place to stay in kerala. Great ambience very helpful staff. And the best part is the food. Very tasty food infact the best I have had during my stay in Kerala. Overall very quiet and decent place.

Enjoyed the stay with my wife and newborn 2 months old. Staffs are friendly. Swimming pool is small and only has upto 4 ft water level, good for kids and non swimmers. Food was fantastic.

Springdale heritage is one of the best resort in kerala. I have been there for 2 days. Located near tea garden and river you can get a walk for 30-45 minutes and have a look at all this things. Well maintained resort. I have planned candle light dinner for my husband and staff have coordinate it very well, good food, good ambiance, and room are excellent.

One of the best place in Thekkady, enjoyed with kids and family, great hospitality, excellent ambience, mouth watering food all together great time with family thanks to Jobi and team

Stayed here for 2 days. Courteous and well mannered staff. Room service is promptly quick. Nice dining experience. Also, infrastructure of the resort is gorgeous which makes a happy staying. Rooms are big spacious and well maintained. I do feel this resort can give you a happy experience so one should try staying here.

The service was extremely poor, serving old food which got me a food poisoning to no water in the room, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had,

The experience was good with great room services dont get driven away by the images they are not actual though some of them are well 3 stars is ok cause I have seen far far better resorts it could have been more happening
