Had my mother admitted here for a surgical procedure. Treatment by the doctors and service given by the nursing staff was very efficient. Our hospital stay was comfortable and she was taken care of very well.
This hospital is a great place to receive excellent care and treatments. The dedication of the doctors and staff is highly appreciated. The canteen facilities are also very nice.
Preventive checkup clinic staff were really helpful and very fast service. Dr Ganga and Sister Marlini and Sobah were really helpful. Apsana helped me around all the tests and was very reassuring!

Only one thing we find difficult to get the blood reports from the Blood Sample Collection Dept.they seemed to be not aware.that blood reports are supposed to be provided by them or not. I think there is a miscommunication between the departments.from whom the patients can collect their Blood reports. Kindly do the needful in this regard.
Wonderfully cooperative and crisp service by the preventive clinic team. Visited here for a routine check up and was not disappointed. I have a very bad experience here. My wife pregnancy, delivery and even my kid took all vaccination and treatment from here. For all these, am so happy But today, I went here to take a pediatric fitness approval for suturing process from another eye care hospital.i prefer sut because my kid was born here. My kid (2 year old) has a serious eye wound and is bleeding and went to ER. They send to OP. The doctor (Dr. M) will not check without consulting other patients.again back to ER.waited long time.again send to reception to take OP for another doctor.then that doctor list is not even found and can't take OP. Then send back to ER.after long waiting, the doctor came and things happens. Bt think of it.how long we wasted time here due to irresponsibility from the staffs.just think of our situation.seeing every one is typing good reviews here.i also satisfied before today.my request is don't go here for emergency.even the nurses in ER room is making fun on us.very pathetic than govt.medical colleges. TO Hospital management, please take care of people who is coming in trust on your hospital.i consult my kid to Dr.johny Sir, bt unfortunately today he was on leave.

I have known Sut Hospital for a long time. Apart from the doctors and nurses all the staff are doing their duty with great dedication. I feel there has been some progress since Col. Rajeev Manali sir took over the management. I experienced friendly behavior from the staff. Every disease has its own cure here. They are preserving the old charm of the building as much as possible. That is the ability of this management.
Doctors here have a very friendly approach. All doubts about the treatment are answered accurately. This is purely my personal experience.
I had visited SUT for my father's health issues. The staff was quite friendly and the service was exceptional especially Admission staff Mrs Deepthi she explained very well about admission process Room status and about insurance procedures. The admission area, billing team, nursing care all made to feel like home and also My special thanks to Dr Dhanya.
Such a pathetic condition happened today for me as I came here with my son for the checkup. The on call doctor was not there on time. When I asked about the update to another female doctor who was there on that time, she yelled at us for such small issue. The attitude of the duty doctor was very bad. The orthopaedic doctor who was in charge came late. This hadn't happened for last five years. Really disappointed and dissatisfied.

Yesterday I came to saw the general medicine dept in the hospital, I feel a homely and friendly atmosphere in the hospital. The staffs in the hospital are well behaved and polite, especially I got a warm welcome from the front office desk, the billing staff Mrs BEENA gave a clear detail about the doctor 's opd timings and availability, about lab services etc she's a asset to the institution. Excellent service from the staff and doctors. Despite being here for the first time, we did not feel displaced in the vast expanse of the hospital thanks to the assistance of the helpers present at the front desk.
My brother got his total hip replacement surgery done by Dr Anoop S Pillai. We had a very pleasant experience. He took the time to explain to my apprehensive brother all the details about the surgery and the materials they were going to use in the surgery. The stay was for about 5 days post op care. It was slightly on the expensive side but the staffs were all very kind and co-operative including all the staffs in reception, ward, billing section. Post op reviews also went smoothly at 1day, 1 month, 3 month and 6 th month review. Now he is walking without any support and the pain in his hip is gone.
Mr. Balachandran Sir in the front area was very helpful with all the appointments making sure things are done swiftly and efficiently.
Will definitely recommend this hospital and doctor for Ortho consultation and surgery.

My association with the SUT in Feb 2018 when our little angel came out in 31 weeks weighing 1.22kg. I had pre-eclampsia. I saw her on Day 2. By then she was in NICU under the care of Dr. Mrinal, Dr. Indumathi, Dr Anju, Dr Purnima and the excellent, kind and compassionate team of nursing staff. The nursing team taught me how to care for a preemie, how to feed with 'gokarnam', how to massage. They also gave me courage and encouragement in these difficult times. The doctors checked her fully and diagnosed a heart defect. We were fortunate to have this detected this early and we did regular follow ups. Our family is indebted to this team and we are forever grateful for giving the best care for our little girl.

I was admitted to hospital a month ago becz I was having difficulty to breathe due to abnormal nasal bone growth, the septum was deviated and was also having turbinates. Now Iam feeling better, I especially thank to Dr. Anu Thampy (ENT) she is very much caring and friendly. I like her, she is an excellent doctor. Staffs were good but when we got the room and when we entered in, there was a foul smell and the room was uncleaned.

My left little toe had reached almost at the level of amputation while I was undergoing treatment under one Vascular surgeon, quite well known in Trivandrum. We were not at all happy with his management and when enquired, we were directed to Dr. Unni Krishnan Rtd Vascular Surgeon from SCT, now Senior Consultant at SUT hospital. He immediately diagnosed it as Trash feet. His way of understanding the patient and the underlying cause of my ailment is highly commendable. Even before seing the CT scan report, Doctor knew where the arterial block could be. I felt confident that Iam in the right hands for saving my little toe. We had a very poor experience the admission reception is not bothered of patient's requirement, right at the morning they are missing from their seat and enjoying their breakfast for more than 30 mins, this exhibits the culture of hospital and the management. The management is ineffective that's why staff is working take for granted, if management is effective such staffs should be kicked out of system. God help the patients who get admitted to such hospital

Few days back, we face an emergency situation as my baby girl wa sick and not even able to stand up. We came to SUT emergency, and Pediatric dr was not available that time, the dr.s in emergency checked her and make a call to Dr. Abhiram. It was very surprising for me, because already I got to know she don't have any serious issues, but still for my concern they call the Dr. But he arrived so quickly, and my baby was so tensed to meet him.bt Dr. Abhiram came to her, give her hi and high five. Which was her favourite things to do. And he made a very cool discussion with her, and said it's because of digestion issues. So now she wants to meet Dr Abhiram everyday. And I believe not every problem needs medicine, we are truly blessed to meet him in such a time. Thanks to Dr Abhiram & SUT.
My mother was admitted and had treatment for 2 weeks in SUT. During the visit caring shared by each and every one of the team was awesome. Especially Dr. Prameela Devi was so communicative and friendly, helped us making decisions easily. Service provided by Mr. Azeem was outstanding. Nursing and all other staff in 6th floor were so impressive to give us a homely atmosphere.
There is no difficult to admission and the services from the staffs are very good. Doctors are very friendly and didn't feel the strangeness. Very good service thanks for all.
The facility that SUT provides with respect to doctors and medical care is brilliant But the office staff there are quite incompetent and lacks decorum.
Today I've went there with my aunt, While waiting to take the consultation, I've heard two ladies staffs arguing and yelling at each other inside the office which i could literally hear from the next room.for a moment i had a second thought in staying there but since my aunt was not so well, we stayed.
But i have to admit that the medical care was good which makes us recommend this place.
It's just disheartening to see an institution with so much reputation and infact which is really providing good healthcare getting dragged down by some of their office employees.
It would also be much appreciated If the management look into the delay in pharmacy as well
My father was admitted to SUT Pattom with multiple issues. Very Good hospital with very good service and facilities. Treatment charges were also affordable when compared to other hospitals in Trivandrum. Doctors and nurses were loving and caring and pay attention to the patient's issues from time to time. We are greatly satisfied with the Pulmonology, Neurology, cardiology and urology departments. We would like to thank especially Dr. Sofia Salim Malik (pulmonology), Dr. Ayyappan (Neurology), Dr. Rajalekshmi (Cardiology), Dr. Nandagopal (Urology) for their special attention given to my father. Mrs. Rachelamma george (Nursing Superintendent) and the entire nursing staff (of basement floor) was also very much cooperative. I came with an emergency accident case in casualty of SUT hospital. From the security staff, Doctors, Nurses of casualty was very cooperative and friendly so i am taking it as an opportunity to thank for staffs caring

That was on Sunday noon my brother are high fever (103 D) and shortness of breath, fainting, vomiting etc.we are go to sut hospital and check the antigen. The result was positive (+ve). My brother was very difficult to breath.i asked to reception for doctor consultation (general physician) they said today is Sunday physician is leave.then I asked covid emergency doctor for consulaton some time later they said emergency doctor is leave in noon.no doctor is there for check my brother.
Then I go to casuality and said about my brother condition. They said emergency covid bed are full and wait outside any paticent will discharge I inform you.me and brother wait approximately 30miniut outside the hospital.again I go to casuality again they said no bed is free.we wait outside (screening area) total 45 minutes.my brother condition is very bad.so suddenly we go another nearest hospital I don't blame any doctor or staff in sut. In these case staff and doctor are helpless.please improve emergency covid team and improve covid bed facility
Best hospital to be chosen for even from mild illness to serious surgical procedures. Consulting, appointments all are well managed without delay. Treatment and care provided by them is not comparable with any other hospitals.
From the time of admission until the time of discharge, it was a very positive experience. Good room maintenance, kind and caring gestures by nursing staff and all other staff. This is a late review actually. The experience about my room after admission was horrendous. I called the admission department immediately for a change of room. One gentleman from the admission department (forgot his name) came and sorted out my problems temporarily and assured me another room the very next day itself. The next day two peoples Ms. Shiny and Mr. Krishnan Nair came and did everything i need. Their turn around time was commendable.
All nurses of second floor especially Sr. Aswathy deserve a huge respect. Her approach to the patient care was exemplary. Neuro surgery ICU staffs are all skilled and amicable.

I had pleasant experience from this hospital. Casualty session was little tough. But at pediatric ward, the staff was very friendly and caring. Especially the pediatrician Ms. Bhavya, she's extremely good, professional. And was most caring towards my 8 month old baby! All the nurses and others staff has provided quality service. The PRO team was very quick and positive! Discharge process taken few hours only, the process was very speedy. Overall I am happy and I recommend this pediatrician and service to others.
Worst appointment system. Very bad experience when tried to visit a doctor. The said doctor is available from 10am.to 2pm.entire this period is reserved for prior booking.so when a patient without booking has to wait upto 4pm eventhough he reported at 11am. Then the display/sign boards should mention that all patients should come with prior appointment. Patient without booking don't go this hospital
Recently my parents, myself and my sister was admitted to SUT Hospital-Pattom where my father had a heart operation and my other family members were on Covid treatment including me. My sister who was admitted for Covid was in a very serious condition where she spent some days in ICU. We were there for a month and discharge recently.
From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all the staffs and Dr. Rajalakshmi, Dr. Hemalatha, Dr. Ayyappan and Dr. James of SUT who were very dedicated and in their treatment we are all safe now. If it was not SUT I don't know whether we would all have survived especially my sister who was in critical condition in ICU.
In future I will see that my family and friends would be recommended to SUT Pattom without any hesitation.

I was in treatment at SUT hospital for last one week. I am out of words to describe the care I got from here. The nurses are like angels, they will be on my side when I wish or dream about them. They made me feel night like day time. My bystander wondered as why he should stay with me. I enquired about their nursing head and came to know about Mrs Raichel mathayi. It seems SUT Pattom has upgraded its standards to a high level. Current management of the hospital deserves appreciation for delivering a hassle free experience. The nursing staff and services provided by them was really good. The team is highly responsive and took good care of me while I was admitted at the hospital. The precautions taken by this hospital during this pandemic time deserves applause. After I got discharged from the hospital, consultation was done using their telemedicine facility. They assisted me throughout the session and the experience was indeed great. I look forward to using the telemedicine and their home-care facility hereafter as it's the safest, considering present situation.
Very bad administration. No any care about patients interest. They have so many rules. Also bad system like paper consultation. If we loose paper they don't have any records.
Few days back i lost my grandmother, while praying for her soul. I remember the excellent service she got when she was admitted in SUT Hospital Pattom. The doctors, Nursing staff and the administrative staff were very kind and considerate and they really went out of their way to look after a 91 year old who had multiple problems. May hospital thrive and be of service do elderly people like my Grandmother.

Visited quite a few times. One that set new practice standards across the city which further inspired other hospitals in the city. Hope it will sustain the name created for itself in the coming years.
Came here for covid vaccination. It was utter mismanagement! There was no crowd control. And on top of that they moved a covid-postive person in a wheel chair through the middle of the people who were waiting for vaccination (note: they did warn everyone and gave just enough time to move away. But dont hospitals have other entrances for this?). The whole time I was there, I was afraid of getting the covid virus instead of covid vaccination.
Moreover they are keeping elderly and disabled people waiting for hours for vaccination without any communication. Also the vaccination centre is on the first floor and is only accessible through a ramp, making it much harder for elderly and disabled to reach.
When I complained to the staff, that person said the management is so bad that there is no point in lodging complaint or giving suggestions.
My father was treated here with sudden onset of paralysis of whole body and loss of speech. We had expert management from Dr Ayyappan, Neurologist. In 3 days time with medicine and God's grace, my father became alright and we were discharged home.
