SS BeachResort

Never ever book this hotel. I booked this hotel and when I contacted them through call for some details, their behaviour was very rude and was not ready to even reply me in call. I suggest not to book this hotel.

I have a worst experience with this restaurant because when i went their restaurant for a food order they said it's not available now and i came out order it through swiggy with in 20 minuts they delivered. Don't support and encourage this type of business organisations.

The room was so nice. It was directly facing to the sea. And the sunset and sunrise view was wonderful from the room directly. The food was also nice. Chicken Al farm was the best. Overall It was a nice experience.

Had a horrible experience staying here. Hot water wasn't available for bathing. The bathroom door didn't lock and the doors in general were very difficult to open and operate. One of the walls were completely wet along its length. The floors were stained and cracked in places. They did not provide tissue papers. There were no facilities for the driver to stay.

The receptionist was not available at the reception. I have already booked a room in makemytrip and visited the hotel, he delayed for a 30 minutes to give us room. Apart from that, the rooms were good and nice.

Got a view to the beach and at a walkable distance to cliff beach. Rooms are fine for bachelors, not ideal for families. At midnight, all the electricals were not working except AC. We thought of calling the service the next morning so as to not disturb our sleep. In the morning we called and complained about the situation. A guy came and went to and fro multiple times. At last, the issue somehow got resolved as we removed the key from the key holder that we usually see in hotels for sometime and inserted it again.

The hotel is in a very prominent place near the parking and helicopter ground of varkala! You can easily walk to the cliff from the hotel! The rooms are not that much clean and good! Looks like a lodge setup not like a resort kind!

The coolest place to stay in varkala. Clean and tidy rooms. Room service and restaurant service was awesome.very nice place to stay with family. Reception staff and room service staff very cooperative and friendly. Near to beach with a perfect view. Food was very nice and tasty. 100% hardly recomended

I had the worst experience with room service. On 17th May, I ordered two lime juice, and they after 1 hour.

They will never answer the phone calls made through room phone, to reception or restaurant

On 18th morning, I had made some 10 calls numbers as well as to the mobile number of the property. But none of them were Answered

I had to go down and found nobody in the reception or restaurant.

Then I had to run after them literally fight with them for two cups of tea.

Today I choose SS BeachResort for Lunch. That's a nice experience and one of the economic hotel available in Varkala. Staff was really nice in guest handing and management of group. Overall SS is one of the best option in Varkala beach.

Great location, just next to beach with clean rooms. Didn't tried their food so can't say much.

The hotel was very close to the beach. The room was a little smaller compared to my other stays during the trip. However that didn't bother us. One important thing is there are a lot of ants since it's close to the beach. The room was clean. All in all it was a decent stay.

Also do not go for local transport mode in Varkala. We stayed at Varkala during the last 2 days of our trip and left our driver one night before. That was the biggest mistake. The local scooty and cab people are very rude and they literally blackmail you to get more money.

TV and fridge not working, we have reported to the reception on the very first day of the checkin, didn’t repaired and not even an response from their side. Worst

One of the worst service from the reception desk, SS beach resort. I have reported a complaint that there is TV and fridge not working properly and there was no response from the reception desk at till the checkout time.
I never ever recommend this SS beach resorts to any one.
But the beer and wine parlour service was excellent.

Worst resort. Room amenities are very basic, just a one or two star hotel. Poor facilities and no services at all. I never recommend this resort to anyone.

Friendly staff, clean and neat rooms, reasonable priced, good location. Currently the restaurant was closed but the location is such that numerous restaurants are just a walk away on North cliff road

Nice Location. Good place to stay. Rent is bit costly for the small sized rooms. Strained Bed Sheets, not washed properly / changed.

Great service. Good location. Just 100 m away from the cliff. It keeps u away from the crowd but still provides u a quick access. Good pool. Rooms were clean. Even though we were there during off season they provided us with all the facilities

But the owner appeared drunk and not following resort etiquette. We had our lunch there, but he was sitting with us depriving of our private time.

Very good resort and it is very close to varkala beach and rooms and bathrooms are clean and good the view from balcony is also very good. They need to work on cleanliness of pool, pool was dirty breakfast was so so.overall good place to stay

For budget travel with a touch of class, this is the ideal place to stay. Clean rooms with spacious balconies and ocean views make this a relaxed base in Varkala. The manager Jomy and his staff are like a family, they are chatty, friendly and accommodating, which makes you very welcome. I would definitely return to Varkala and stay here again.

It's a nice a stays @ sanctum spring Beach Resort varkala one the finest hotel that have a elegnt seaview rooms and a spectacular open swimpool towards a sea. I experience 3 days of leasue and joy in Varkala with my family. Everything such as front office staff are very friendly open service are good and food was delisious. Except two thing about the bed and Housekeeping! That is bed rough and tough also housekeeping staff are very arognt, because when we go out side for walk we give the key to housekeeping staff to clean the room they refuse to clean that! That was the only mistake that I found in resort. I have already inform to reception afterthat the guy who came the room he clean the room itself and say sorry for there staff behavior. I don't know the name they are nice and friend ready to assist us any time. Over all I wish to say that if you change some mistakes in your property this is one of best resort in varkala I surely recomment to friends.

Good place to stay, I had stayed 2 nights in this resort, located exactly in helipad side, good views of shore, room is very neat and clean, tv, Ac, hot wate and swimming pool good.

Worst Resort (Waste of time and waste of money) i ever seen in Varkala. They may ask for more money apart from room rent. The management and staffs doesn't have any manners. Also no services at all. Please don't go there

Waste i ever seen in Varkala, Kerala, India. No Services and no manners there. Please choose other one. In the same price you can choose other resorts there. Sanctum Spring, Varkala is not a resort. It's like a lodge. Water facility will not be there sometimes. We need to talk with them before staying. Otherwise they will stop. After they may ask other price. Also Air Condition switch is outside. They will switch it off sometimes. If we see it looks good. But no manners from the management. Please don't go there. I will not recommend this hotel. Don't think of breakfast there. Waste. Please try to go somewhere. A word to foreign people. Please don't go there. Since it's a waste to Varkala
