Though I haven't yet visited, the church history and the architecture of both kochu palli and the valiyapally are amazing would love to visit the church

Pretty old and biggest church of marthoma sabha. Such a beautiful church, especially the way they maintaining the old church is awesome. It’s a reflection of our old tradition. A must visit church. Best example of old Indian architecture and construction. Calm atmosphere along with prayers.

Our mulamoottil family church, church where my dad rests. Pretty old and biggest church of marthoma sabha. The procedure and priest to approach is rather bit difficult to my experience Dey can be given only one star.

St. Thomas Mar Thoma Syrian Church is situated in the town of Kozhencherry.
From the outside, a beautiful church is often grand and imposing, with towering spires, intricate stonework, and beautifully crafted doors and windows. The entrance may be adorned with ornate carvings, sculptures, or statues that invite visitors to step inside and experience the beauty and majesty within.

Has been a historical traditions involved of a specific community in Christian faith. Could be upgraded on to other factor inclusions.

കോഴഞ്ചേരി സെന്റ് തോമസ്സ് മാർത്തോമ്മാ ഇടവക മലങ്കര മാർത്തോമ്മാ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ ചരിത്രപധാനമായ ഇടവകകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. കോഴഞ്ചേരിയുടെ വിരിമാറിൽ അഭിമാനപുരസ് രം തല ഉയത്തി നിൽക്കുന്ന ഈ ഇടവക ദേശത്തിന് തന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹമാണ്. അനേക ജീവിതങ്ങൾക്ക് നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി രൂപാന്തരവും പുതുക്കവും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്തുവരുന്ന ഈ ഇടവക ദേശത്തിന്റെ സൗഖ്യത്തിന് നിരന്തര പ്രാത്ഥന ഉയരുന്ന ഇടം കൂടെയാണ്.

ഇതിനോട് ചേർന്ന് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇടവയുടെ പഴയ ദേവാലയം കൊച്ചുപള്ളി എന്നാണ് പൊതുവെ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. രാവിലെ 6: 00 മുതൽ വൈകുന്നേരം 6: 00 മണി വരെ തുറന്നു കിടക്കുന്ന ഈ ദേവാലയം അനേകരുടെ സങ്കടങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശ്വാസംപകരുന്ന സാന്ദ്വന ഇടമാണ്. നിശബ്ദമായപ്രാത്ഥനയ്ക്കു ഇടമൊരുക്കുന്ന ഈ ദേവാലയം ശാന്തത കൊണ്ടും ആകാര ഭംഗി കൊണ്ടും അനേകരെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്ന ഇടമാണ്

St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church Kozhencherry, is situated adjacent to TK Road. The church is one of the biggest parishes of Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, having more than 2300 families. The Church is known for its traditional heritage.
The Holy Qurbana is celebrated mostly on Sundays at 8: 00AM. The kochupalli adjacent to the Church is open from 6: 00AM to 6: 00PM for prayer. Many are visiting and spending time in prayer. A Holy Qurbana is celebrated on the fist Wednesday of the month at 8: 00am and many are participating from different places

A small ground is available for additional parking.

Oye hello.this place is history this is the largest and populated marthoma chruch in the marthoma sabha
Here more than 2000 families are the part of this community and 2000 families means if we consider a basic family of 4 members the full aprox strength is 8000 individual members and unfortunately its just the tip of an ice berg

This church also have a wonderful 4parts choir it's beyond words if u need to know come here on Sundays u can feel the energy

St. Thomas Marthoma Church, also called as Kozhencherry Valiya Palli is a prominent Christian church under the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, located in the heart of Kozhencherry town on the banks of River Pamba in Pathanamthitta district of Central Travancore region of Kerala, India. The Maramon Convention, the largest Christian gathering in Asia, is held in every February on the sand bed of Pamba which is near to the church. This is one of the oldest churches in Kerala, established in AD 1599. In 1941 the new church was built adjacent to the old church. At the time of construction of the new church, this was the biggest Christian church building in the Central Travancore region.

Such a beautiful church, especially the way they maintaining the old church is awesome. It’s a reflection of our old tradition. A must visit church. Best example of old Indian architecture and construction.

Undoubtly one of the best in the Pathanamthitta dist, which builts on stones.always a postive energy in and around the surroundings!

Beautiful church. Nice location on an elevated place. Ample parking. Big hall nearby for functions. Graceful, calm church. Ancient small church nearby. Recently attended a marriage function here. Had a very good experience.
