Best holiday ever had at Sterling with family during Xmas week. Thanks to entire team of Yogesh Mehta, Arun and Nabeel Ali were very professional and energetic to ensure that every guest is very comfortable. Keep up the team work.

Fantastic service. Good breakfast and dinner buffet spread. But try to avoid the Classic room. The toilet could be better with an upgrade. This room is too expensive for what it was worth.

Great experience. Must stay here if in Munnar.

Properties owned by sterling are growing old. Rooms have a weary feel. Their management properties (tie-up properties) are much better. Location is fairly ok.right next to Club Mahindra

Located wonderfully, a huge property not maintained properly. Rooms have a dipulated state with slight color make ups. Food is horrible, they changed veg marking to non veg markings in front of us after one hour to opening the buffet. Gardens are badly kept. On things that are chargeable have a good upkeep.

I had booked this resort based on my experience on Sterling Wayanad. But in munnar resort the experience is absolutely pathetic. I would not recommend to anyone.

1. There is no proper service in Buffet and not even drinking water
2. Food is worst except Breakfast. Lunch and dinner are the worst.
3. Bathroom pipeline had issues and it took 1.5 days to fix it
4. Lot of maintenance issues and no one there to attend

WE ARE A sterling member past 2 years. Their promises are not fulfilled. They give a small room NOT EVEN WORTH 1500. Paying so much of money for membership, no benefits are given even the breakfast is not complementary. Even the kids trampoline is charged.never experienced such bad privileges while I was in Club Mahindra and these people here are not courteous too.

One of worst stay in Sterling Munnar resort. We booked 3 Premier Room and they given it at the end of resort where monkey keep coming to your door.

Hot water is one of major issue in Premier Room which doesn't have capacity to provide the hot water regularly because it had capacity store only 35 liters if one person use it then other has to wait for 30mints to get hot water which was worst.

Rooms was not clean because Lezard inside the room. Service was worst and breakfast too.

At last we moved to classic room at same premier room cost and floor sealing bit old which is not a sign of star hotel

I want to give ZERO star but we don't have option to give it.

Place is good gave four star as it seriously needs revamp. Rooms are musty. Lunch and breakfast spread Is quite bad and can't go out as everything is 45 minutes away

This is 4-star hotel at famous location Munnar, but it doesn't feel 4 star hotel. Room service is damn slow. Lot of electricity problem. It should be 2.5 star hotel we can say.
Overall experience was good but not superb. Breakfast is awesome.

I must say sterling Munnar really rocks.my stay, my food everything was top of the earth, and especially Anu was very helpful and very friendly.after a long travel spa made me sleep well, I must appreciate them too for their spa service.overall 5/5

It is in an amazing location with great view surrounded by tea plantations. A very beautiful waterfall is at a walkable distance. Rooms, cottages and environment inside the resort are too awesome. It didn't cost much for us because of Sterling membership.

Did not expect the hotel with the name „Sterling“ to have such a unkempt room with broken furniture…. Starting the holiday with a bad note: (

I had a very comfortable and safe stay. Good room and view. The staff really took care of our basic requirement. Quick and prompt service. They made my birthday special by decorating my room and arranging a cake for me. Deeply touched by their gesture and hospitality, It means a lot. Definetly will suggest sterling resort in munnar.

Such an amazing resort with beautiful view and good ambience. Sterling holidays munnar is definitely a perfect spot for family trip. Their staffs are so helpful and are available 24×7hrs. They also provide play area for childrens and even for elder people too. Their complimentary breakfast is also one of the best part of the stay. Rooms are well maintained and room service is too good.

We booked this property for 3 of us traveling and it exceeded our expectation in every possible way.
Locations is excellent just opposite tea estate and you can just take a morning or evening walk around the estate.
The property is just next to club Mahindra and easily accessible.
Our room had beautiful tea estate view with dam in background.
Our stay will forever be memorable because of one housekeeping staff Mr. Bala who went beyond his reach to make sure we are comfortable and have great night because it was one of our birthday. He made sure to deliver some beautiful flowers as caring gesture and called us few times to check upon if we need anything else
We need more customer oriented staff in hospitality industry like him.
Breakfast is not great but it’s not bad either. A decent spread of Indian and some breakfast muffins and puffs.
Overall worth 5 star for everything they are offering at such low tariff

Nice hotel. Outdoor kids play area and indoor gaming area are entertaining. Complimentary breakfast was nice. You could get better price if you book through 3rd party sites. Sterling membership and their points won’t make any difference in the overall bill.

Went here just because we spent our honeymoon there.but this time the staff and the overall feel was not so warm.hopefully, they will improve.
The munnar to chinnakanal road is pathetic to say the least.

It's a great pleasure to stay in your resort during onam festival time. All staffs were very courtesy and humble.
I can see the all staff were busy day and night. Food part don't ask me it's totally worst no salt at all don't say it's sathya just local food nobody wear the head cover during service area no standard followed and no protocols followed and there is lady who stands in food area with lose hair first time noticed lady who working with lose hair in service industry, staff very cooperative and fast service special thanks house keeping staff room cleaning were perfect, but no news papper provided, please don't say we are following the COVID-19 protocol resort are saving paper cost.
My brother is member of sterling holidays and he is very old member. He has forced my son to buy the memberships. I won't recommend to have food inside Special thanks reception staff Anu who care and smile always. Resort people have to check cap road how is road access. No welcome drink during the check in again cost saving. During my check in all safety protocols were followed perfect.

Great place to visit and stay. The cottage is modern, neat and luxurious. The food is excellent and soulful. Great staff who promptly respond to your requests.

We have been visiting Sterling Munnar since many years. Its refreshing with very nice views. Its an amazing place to stay. The amenities are beautiful and the rooms clean and peaceful. The best is the amazing staff who take care of all your wishes and give stunning service.

Very nice ambience. Very courteous staff. Chef is very good and delicious food items serving. Panoramic views from the balcony is mesmerizing.

I booked a cottage stay in this resort and this resort can never be recommended to anyone. The Facilities and amenities are very badly maintained.
The food costs are very overated and expensive compared to other 4 star hotels in munnar. The quality and quantity is never acceptable.

I have a few things to say about this sterling property as a member.

The property was neat and clean and since it was the pandemic situation almost 90% games were suspended. The reception people were so helpful, especially the main lady as we had a food voucher upon joining sterling holidays membership but it was not added to the head office. So she helped us get that right and Kudos to her (Forgot her name).
Overall the food and other services at the stay was pretty nice and we were happy with the food as it was really good.

Now with the negative part, we found out that some of the cupboard doors of our 1 bedroom cottage was kinda torn apart. And some things were not readily set up unless we called them. Please do check all things such as TV, heaters, kettles, etc. Making sure they work perfectly before handing over the room.

But otherwise everything went good.

The ambiance and the service of the staffs are really good. Well maintained and budget friendly, very satisfied with the service and the quality of the room? ️

One of the best place out of entire Munnar, please go to chinnakanal and feel the original vibe of munnar, if u stay in anachal you are scrued, thanks for sterling management and their hospitality, much appreciated holidays for my family

Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the resturent and the menu has a great. And offcoure your lady staf front office ANU. She is doing a well job.congrts.

A beautiful property with the usual sterling’s amenities. The place has both hotel units and villas inside and good malabar food serving restaurant. The only disadvantage is the accessibility to Munnar town and other tourist places around.

A Good property. We booked 1BR and a Studio Room, they gave us two classic rooms after reaching there as it’s covid time, That really disappointed us. But classic rooms were good enough. Not too tiny but of course not comfortingly big also.

Far away from Munnar. Calm place with view of Tea estate. Service Staff is good and polite. Language is a problem. Mobile connectivity is poor.

Excellent experience in sterling Munnar. The staffs are very friendly. For my dad's birthday, they themselves took the initiative and not only baked a cake, but also decorated the room beautifully. Thanks to the whole team for making the holiday a comfortable one.

View from the rooms are really good staff is very helpful. However it's almost 2 hours away from the main Munnar area and property does not have much of activities to do. Would not recommend it even if you are getting it at a cheaper rate due to membership.

Worst stay experience. Too many issues at the hotel. Booked for 3 days but cancelled on day 1 and moved to blanket. Charged for 3 days as well.

Cheating customers and don't even accept their mistake or apologize. Our SUITE did not have a fan or an AC. Can you imagine that? A suite not having either. How will the air circulate? !? We felt clotrophobic. And the hotel does not even mention on their website or in the room description about this. Absolute cheats. Never book with them. Our site didn't have any TV channels also. The management is horrible.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We booked sunrise trip to kolukkumala peak through hotel, unfortunately Jeep driver didn’t show up on time, but hotel staff arranged another driver so we reached on time and also they refunded the additional charges as it was shared taxi. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown

With construction taking place on the way to the resort, your car would look like it's been through a sandstorm. The rooms are excellent, staffs are prompt and courteous. There are fewer games compared to before, with few activities that pique your interest. The food expense is atrocious, with a toast costing more than noodles, the least expensive dish at 275 rupees. The buffet us not worth it. I would recommend that you buy food from outside. Other than that I enjoyed my stay here.

Good views. Great rooms. Recreation (mostly paid). Only issue is that this Resort is located 19 Kms off Munnar on the Madurai highway.

It's a classic case of mismanagement. A good location, but they don't seem to have enough staff. Even basic amenities were provided only after requesting explicitly. With the quality of service provided, the tariff is astronomically high. Not worth your money at all.

Good place and worth the visit. The food is a little bit costly and there is only one good hotel right opposite in case you want to eat out. The place is a little interior so plan your lunch or dinner if you do not wish to eat from the resort. I found the service at the restaurant a bit slow, the food took a lot of time to be served.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Not worth!

This hotel is located at chinnakanal which is around 20 kms away from Munnar town. As soon as we entered the road towards Chinnakanal from Munnar, road started diminishing. There were some rare patches of asphalt road. Construction was going on for the entire 20 kms. And we had to wait for almost 30 mins twice as rock was being broken down and taken away in trucks. Total it took us more than 2 hours to cover 20kms. I think I will have to take my car to the mechanic now. I understand that it's not hotel's mistake, but they had called me a day before to ask us when we are gonna arrive and they never informed about this issue or advised us to consider delays. We cut short our trip and travelled back with just one night's stay though we had booked two. I dint get a refund for the cancellation even after explaining the circumstances.
The hotel rooms were not upto the mark, absolute dissatisfaction and not worth the whole effort. The fridge and cupboard were dirty. No hand towels were provided. Toilet fittings were rusted. The soap dispenser was broken. After paying for a good time in Munnar, this was not expected.

Nice stay. But, the restaurant has limited items and price is also relatibly on the higher side. The restaurant should be more clean. As it is located away from the town, finding other options for food is also difficult.

I stayed here for 2 days and its like m in heaven. Surrounded by high mountains and the view is like m staying above the clouds. Love to go again.

Only negative point is it is far from Munnar town and Road from Munnar to Sterling is in very bad shape as of now (Nov-18) as Road widening activities are on going hence it took almost 1 hr oneway travel from resort to Munnar. And everyday you need to go there to visit diff sight seeing options. Anyways it will improve in 1 year of time.

Like other popular resorts such as Club Mahindra, this is also located far from the Munnar town. Due to the road widening work and the recent incessant rainfalls in districts of Kerala, the roads can be risky for many drivers and travellers. Therefore, to and fro from resort to Munnar can be a challenge.
Pros: Nice view form the resort, good climate, sumptuous buffet meals
Cons: Location (as of now).
P. S.: When the road widening work is complete, this resort is sure to attract many more people from other states.

Excellent place. The location is unaffected by the recent rain related calamity. Very courteous staff all places of interaction - reception, room service, house keeping. The people at the restaurant were the best.

Nice place to stay. Good atmosphere and lots of fun programs are conducted and it's helps in interacting with other tourists.

Though the location of the resort is approx 25 km ahead of Munnar, the tea estate around it, the ambience, staff and facilities there make up for the distance. It takes about an hour to reach there from Munnar due to bad road conditions. They have fun activities being conducted inside the resort throughout the day if you aren't going out to explore the countryside. The spa too is alright. Their are outdoor and indoor games too. The rooms are decent and the housekeeping staff keep it neat & clean. There are even better options just a short distance from the resort if you really wanna experience true Kerala ayurvedic massage therapy. There one can soak in some culture with Kathakali and Kalariyapattu shows which are worth it and not to miss. This year we had the additional privilege of witnessing the Neel Kurinji flowers, which bloom just once in twelve years.

The accommodation was not that well maintained and the approach road via Munnar is under construction so that's an issue. But the views if you are driving during the day are brilliant, if you are driving there in the evening be cautious

Not driver friendly.good choice for the guests.but drivers have difficult to stay here.unclean toilets, no rooms for drivers.very poor.
