Horrible experience.

Hygiene - None of the tables looked clean and I understood why when I watched them clean a table. They simply brush things off the tablecloth. So if anybody spills gravy or water or oil, it stays on the table. Mine had dried gravy and food particles on it. Even the utensils are old and not maintained properly.

Service - While the service itself was alright (barely), the staff definitely needs to look more presentable. They look unkempt and shoddy. Upon telling the guy that the food is bad, there was no apology or explanation, the guy came n said he'll cancel the order. But since my friend had eaten a small portion, we paid 100/- and left.

Food - Saved the worst for the last. I went coz nostalgia beckoned but man was I wrong to heed that call! Ordered Veg fried rice and garlic chicken and the food was so pathetic I couldn't eat more than 2 mouthfuls. I'm not even exaggerating. The garlic chicken was bland, chewy, and tasted old. There was this weird smell which I think was vinegar or soy sauce. The fried rice tasted like rust. I have not had this bad food in years.

It is really sad that an eatery that used to serve really good food before has turned into such a terrible restaurant. I sincerely hope that the management does something to fix things. The place definitely needs a complete makeover.

VEGETABLE CHILLY CHICKEN

The worst Chinese food ever.

We had ordered full portion of chilly chicken and we had mentioned it to be sweet and sour because we didn't want it to be spicy. And this what we get on our plates, too sour, too sweet, full of carrots, full of capsicum and less chicken (frozen). And they charged 360 for the full plate. And the chicken was not fresh as if it was from the freezer.

Dear manager, we know that the price of the chicken is high. So why don't you increase the price rather than cheating the customers.

But thankfully they had given us half portion of chilly chicken as a replacement for the full portion ordered.

Suburban is a known restaurant of mamangalam residents for a long-time. It has been a go to place for Chinese varieties.

Having visited the place many number of times, it feels quality is diminishing gradually. Food is still great, affordable and wow. But the tables and the area is not place u want to dine in.

I saw visible stains on table clothes and have to look around for a neat table. However settled with a less stain one.

They have to improve the infra, keep better staff. This place can be far better.

We ordered chilli gobi, butter chicken, chicken chilli fry. Chilli gobi/ chicken chilli fry was full of raw onion and there was no taste. It was a very bad experience. Chapatti was not ready made and parotto was hard like rubber. Terrible food and surprised these kind of restaurants are still open in this locality. Once we informed the waiter about the food quality, he is not even concerned about it, asking us how is the payment gpay or card. Horrible experience. Please do not even give a try.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Kochi. It is an Old restaurant which is really underrated and is worth giving a try into the different cuisines available there.

I ate Mixed fried rice, noodles and chilli pork and it was really tasty, fresh and worth the visit there.

Also i didn't see much of a crowd there as i think it's kinda inside a complex I guess. Anyway, it's an hidden gem near palarivattom.

I had ordered Cantonese boneless chicken and was given chicken with bone, and it felt like chicken which was fried and kept before, it tasted old. (0/5)
The beef noodles was soggy, and the fried rice lacked flavour (1/5)
The mixed fried rice did not have the flavour I hoped for it to have (3/5)
The chili beef was the only savior (3.5/5)

My favourite restaurant in town - especially for fried rice with chilli chicken and/or pork. Excellent south indian meals. Kind and professional staff. I have a very long relationship with this team - say almost 25 years.

Excellent food. I enjoy very much. We ordered Ghee rice, Pototta, Gobi Manjuri, Chicken 65 quality and taste was Great and it's price reasonable.

A hotel famous for Chinese food. I bought fried rice, chilly chicken, chicken biriany and mushroom curry. All the items were tasty and we liked it very much. Due to COVID restrictions, only parcel service was there. They have ac restaurant also adjacent to old restaurant. Good service and will certainly recommend this restaurant for Chinese dishes.

It was the best restaurant available in mamangalam area before.great days of going there regular. Never disappoints.

How many of you remember the taste of chilly chicken and fried rice available in Kochi in the late 90s and early 2000s? Well, then this place is a must try.their fish curry meals is awesome too.

Constrained parking space.

Been visiting since I was a little kid. Still go 21 years later, start with sweet corn chicken soup, then mixed fried rice and chilli chicken. Favourite meal forever:)

Suburban (veg) was the one I used to go frequently, but today I had a bitter experience, which made me decide not to go further.

I had ordered for chapathi and Chilli Gobi. Just before I was about to finish, I asked for a lime, asked to parcel the half Gobi. Then, in two min I left for washing my hands and the guy went for taking lime. When I came back, I saw the left over was taken by the cleaning guy. Just to check, I asked the guy (waiter) for the Gobi.he suddenly he realized it was not there. He told he will bring in two min. I was surprised to hear this. He got it packed and gave it to me and told, " Here is your parcel". I left the parcel behind and informed the person sitting in the counter that it was from the place where the all the used plates were kept.

My simple question is: I have seen the food being taken with the left overs during the cleaning, how we trust you guys, if you could just like that bring the food from the remains!

Its a good place to have fish food with wide varity of fishes
You could also gate a average tasty praws biriyani at the rate of just 190

Good vegetarian restaurant. Clean to sit and have a sip of coffee. Variety of snacks available.

They serves one of the best tastiest food in town. Sweet courn chicken soup, mixed fried rice, chilli chicken, chilli pork are my favorite.

Service can be improved by good presentation as well as improved cutlery

Ambience can be improved by improved flooring ànd the new tables and chairs

Parking area enough for 4-5 cars. Tasty food. Ac and non ac halls available. Good place for family get together

Restaurant near to Mamangalam Church. Vegiterian and Non Veg restaurants separately maintained. Quality food with limited varities

An occasional visitor here, tasty foods especially of nonveg varieties, good service.a/c & non a/c halls.

Classy food. Descent taste as usual. Don't forget to try the fish pollichath, though there is a wait for it.

Order delivery also took some time which again is undigestable.

Best Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken Ever. I mean that. It's been years and I visit many hotels.this is absolutely delicious

It's a decent enough place for family and the waiting time after ordering food is not long. Charges are not exorbitant and the specials of the day are of really good variety. Also, there's a considerably good parking as compared to other restaurants in Kochi in general.

This is an average Restaurant in Mamangalam. There is A/C and non A/C spaces available. Small parking space available on front of the Restaurant.
