Worst service. I visited for lunch the staff is so irresponsible and utterwaste service for thier customers

Great ambiance and the staff are attentive. Food is good nothing so great regarding the taste.

Today, I went to Sunstar Restaurant at Pala (Opposite to KSRTC Bus stand). My helmet which was kept on my scooter, went missing. I informed the security & manager and they spoke very irresponsibly. Very poor security service.

Worst kizhi porotta ever. It was full of masalas and oil. Couldn't eat even a single porotta. Utter waste of money.

There s nothing negative to say about Sunstar. They know their food, doesn't matter if it's Indian, Chinese, grilled, bread items.if they have it in their menu, they make it the best way. We eat their atleast once a week. Pricey but Not costly compared to the quantity and quality of the food. And the service is really nice, like they are always there when u need them no matter how crowded the place is.

Whew! V rchd here at 8 pm and omg! Its 9 and no sign of food. Other than the occassional appearance of a sincerely sorry-looking bearer. Dont blame him. Probably the freshness of my poultry is at stake! The moment i stepped in we were awaited by a smokey-room an aftermath of a sizzler ordered by someone in here! Please people. The wait is unbearable, food is just so-so, but since the choices arent galore. We make do

Food is no worth for the money we paid. My family is eaten today 10.04.2023 one special thali and mix fried rice. Its not upto expectation. I never recommend this hotel to any one. Thanks.

If you are too hungry please don’t go there. They take a hell lot of time for food preparation. Waited for more than 40mins for the plates to even come. For food I am still waiting…

They add items in the todays special menu when they can’t do it properly. We ordered a sizzler and it had some onions on top with 3 small chicken pieces and no sauces? Is that what you call sizzlers? Alongside was a cold I think reheated frozen chappati and really cold tomato rice, which we never touched. Good ambience of the restaurant complemented by worst food experience.

Bad experience.they are not ready to share the menu card even.just want to thrust some dish down our throat.if we ask for something, the waiter says.it will take time and kitchen is busy.if we are ready to wait why the hotel staff bother?

I came here at 1: 50 pm and took 15 minutes to get a seat.
And took another 15 minutes for the waiter to get the orders.now I'm waiting for the food.

Very bad behavior of servers. Very impatient. Ruins the entire ambiance. Have come here multiple times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, the waiters’s behavior is always awful. Food is nothing special, just an ordinary restaurant with an overpriced menu.

Food is mediocre so is the service.
All curries felt watered down. Even the soap in the washroom was watered down.
The barbecue chicken felt like it was from Antarctica -? When I complained that the chicken was cold, they took it away and brought it back with a slightly warm outer surface and still very cold on the inside.
Basically, they have no idea what a barbecue chicken should be like?
Pls never buy chilly chicken, I couldn't find any chicken in it. All it was is maida rolls in a gravy.
Wasted 1.5 Hrs of my families time for a underwhelming dinner experience.
Only upside was the ambience and parking.

The staff was unable to manage the full house.i felt. They were unable to even understand what we were asking/requesting. For everything that we requested we had to ask many times.even water. A chicken tandoori item arrived ice cold (true) and cancelled it. Food was just average. As the ingredients were appearing fine but not proportional. Keralaporota, beef ularthiyathu, prawns chilly, falooda, orange juice. Mint lime was fine. Broasted chicken (basket meal) was GOOD.
Parking facility is ample. But security is found busy chatting both times.not bothering much. Bathrooms and wash area is neat and rightly positioned.

Much more to improve for such a good investment and great idea. Goodluck to the team.if trained

Visited this place for evening snacks and Tea.

As a group of 4, we decided to go with sandwich and juice for all of us.

Though it took longer to serve, sandwiches were really tasty and filling.

Place is really neat and organized. Well decorated with plants and flowers.

Service was courteous but could have been prompt.

I don't know about other foods but I had a mutton biryani which ofcourse I did not get through to one fourth of the portion. Meat was rubbery. Undercooked. One staff asked me how the food was I told it was below par, them that guy smiled and told me it's ok sir you can mention it in the ratings lol, very sincere employee

This restaurant is one of the best family restaurant in Pala. Awesome food with great quality and quantity. Chinese food is really good here. Chilly garlic baby corn, hakka nudles, Kizhi porotta, ghee rice are my favorites.

Worst experience.
We order butter chicken and porotta.butter chicken cost 260.
Its very disappointed.
Chicken is not well cooked and only 4 small piece of chicken in curry.
We dont know how they charge 260 for this.

This building was renovated as a Hotel, hence the corridors are narrow and rooms are small.

The services will be very slow during peak hours, which they donno how to handle even after this many years, else everything is good.

Good location good parking good security and parking assistant service good interior. But worst staff inside. "Wait if you want" വേണേൽ വെയ്റ്റ് ചയു് " was the welcoming address by the service staff.

Over crowded and had a worst experience from staff side then walked out without eating.

Sunstar, as the name it is superb star restaurant with unmatched services and excellent food. Huge variety of dishes to choose from. Skip your several meals before coming to this amazing place. My favourite restaurant. So yummy delicious food that you can't stop yourself from having all of it. The place is elegant, nice, enjoyable with pleasent atmosphere. Will highly recommend it.

Very bad experience I had in my stay in this hotel Sunstar, I'm frequent traveler to pala every month and I usually stay in Hotel Olives. Never have I ever had any issues with my stay Olives, as it is one of the best hotel to stay in pala, worth the money you pay. I reached Sunstar early morning and I took room just to sleep for 3hrs but it was a nightmare. Switched on the A/c for more than 1hr, the A/c was not cooling; contacted the concern person, he said it's working but I checked the temp of A/c with an app, which showed the Room temp reading 29°C and Humidity reading 37.1%, surely not comfortable for a person to sleep after a very long journey. I'm attaching the screenshot of the reading, below. Switch on the WiFi not working. Finally the room boy sir we r changing ur room coz A/c is not working changed me to Room 207 which bath room light not working, not Hot water in the bath room.you management pls think every guest paying you not free so atleast make them comfortable.pls don't forget to keep 10 rs tooth paste and shower gel. (Amenity kit)

Sunstar Masala Hut Restaurant is the best hangout with lots of variety dishes and very comfortable atmosphere. I enjoyed each moment with my family, we had the best time at dinner that I think we ever had! Everything we tasted, melted and watered other mouths. And the dessert.can't wait to eat.yummy! Enjoyed a lot. The service made us feel great. It is really amazing and delightful. Will surely visit soon.

Sunstar Residency and Food Plaza is the perfect place to visit in Pala. The very first time experience was superb. Enjoyed a lot those moments with my family. Beautifully decorated and arranged. Best hospitality and charming ambiance.beautiful presentation, amazing and delicious food.loved the place.will surely visit again and again. Highly appreciated and recommended.

The Ambiance was excellent. Staff dealing is very poor. We ordered pizza After the fud. The pizza base was sour and chicken pieces in the pizza was old.we inform the boy who served us.they take pizza inside. And never give apologies us take the amount. Me and my family feel very bad on the behaviour

Nice restaurant with large parking area. Spacious, Hygiene and comfortable seating, Peacefull area to dine with family and friends. But the food is not delicious but some what ok. Chiken biriyani here is the best (I tried it before corona. Now not available)

Took chicken noodles and Chkn fried rice, very bad taste, the fried chicken was okok, not that great, gobi manchurian dry was smoke tasting. Very bad taste and smell of oil used.

The best restaurant in Pala. Opens in the morning with buffet breakfast. Quality food and best service available throughout the day. The place is highly recommended.
