Swiss Cafe

Has a really good beach view, but it’s too unhygienic unfortunately. Cups and dishes smelled like fish and butter, which can be a torture especially for vegetarians. Also the staffs are very unwelcoming. This area has several good cafes, so I’d avoid this one.

Ideal for brunch. You’d come to this cafe specifically for European and American style specialties, including real brewed coffee, fresh juices, proper salads, and their famous rosti which is like a plate-size latke. I recommend all of these particularly the delicious Energizer juice which I had as a variation with carrot, ginger, and parsley. It’s second storey with a great view of the beach. The staff were very nice and super helpful at accommodating my restricted diet - and when I returned they remembered all the things I couldn’t eat. There’s free wifi and you can sit watch the waves and chill….

One of the worst experience ever. The waiter doesn't even respect the dinners. Food is worst ordered the arrabiata pasta they served raw pasta with sauce on top centre.had one of the worst experience the owner simply said " The cafe serves mainly foreigners" so they don't consider what other people like.said we serve here what we cook so I guess it means the dinners have to adjust with the food.won't suggest anyone

Awesome, one of the very few places in the area that serve real coffee. The food is delicious, fresh, very cheap and there is a lot of choice! I love eating breakfast there and the service is very nice!

Decent food at okay prices. We ordered chicken shashlick and chicken noodles soup followed by banana pancake and chocolate cake for desserts.

The chicken was good but the noodles were a bit tasteless. The banana pancake was hardly a banana pancake as it was just a regular pancake with banana pieces served along with it.

The restaurant is located on the first floor and offers a spectacular view of the beach while having food. The food is decent. We ordered masala tea and ginger lemon honey tea, both were not so good. We also ordered omelette which was decent.

This restaurant is located on first floor on Light house beach Road. They have a vast range of menu items, that's why we chose it. The vegetarian food was not great but it was not too bad either. They have books placed right at the entrance to pick and read while eating. The restaurant is open with ocean breeze and fans helping you cool down after your walk. We stopped here for dinner. I liked the tandoori butter roti. The sea food was a bit better than the vegetarian items.

Got pizza that looks like a paper sheet with no sign of chicken.
Food quality is absolute trash.
Avoid buying anything from here.

I went here 4 times during mu stay at Kovalam. Highly recommend the place for its homemade food

Best food for the price on the whole beach. Recommend spag bol and also pancakes but everything was good
