Best Home stay ever visited
The wonderful hosts made our life so easy and enjoyabke at this special place.
We we offered delicious food all freshly cooked. Even good ayurvedic Tteatments available on site and Safari tours easy to reach. The home stay is situated in lush farmland away from any disturbing noises.
It is an excellent place to relax and to enjoy the conuntry side and ideal for short or even longer stays.
Definitely worthwhile visiting!

An excellent property to stay with your friends and family. The hosts are incredible people and hosted us with such love and grace. The location itself is heavenly.there is a river flowing behind the property and you can hear it all day long. You can walk right up to it.they have built a cute bridge, hammocks, swings and a chill shack where you can unwind with your favourite books and games. There is also a beautiful paddy field right in front of the property which is great for an impromptu walk/hike and photo sessions.

We drove in from Bangalore and the only suggestion would be to take the Bandipur route as the Kabini roads though shorter by 30kms is just horrible and totally not worth it. The last 5 minutes to reach the property has slightly narrow roads. Its not difficult at all. Just a heads up that if you are new with your car or to driving.you just need to be vary of that.:)

We visited Talking trees with our pet Louie and he had a blast being off leash. The hosts are extremely understanding and went out of their way to make him feel at home too.and i cant thank them enough for it.

Lovely local cuisine but they also have an interesting menu like barbecue and tandoori etc on request. You can also buy home made pickles and chips etc from the property.

Such grand rooms with beautiful windows. The washrooms too are extremely clean and well stocked.

I like adding this parameter because i feel like the hosts have an done an excellent job in putting together this piece of heaven on earth. Their taste in design and landscape is quite nice.

Also, we didn't find any weird crowd at the place.it was extremely safe. Eagerly looking forward for the next chance to go back to Talking Trees.

One of the best stays I have ever had. Right from the welcoming to our end of the stay. Everything was taken so well by the host. Would highly recommend this place in Wayanad.

We loved our stay at Talking Trees. Owners were very kind and provided such care and hospitality, as did the people they work with. We highly recommend their driver Shibu; as well as Bibin, the guide to visit the local tribes. That was such a fun, interesting and beautiful trip.

Talking trees let's you unwind in the truest sense. There's absolutely no agenda, no rush and just peace all around. The slow life takes a bit to settle in but once it does, you'll remember what it is like to actually relax and enjoy your time.
The space is lush green, with many flowers, trees, fruit trees and all around are coffee, paddy and areca palm (supari). You can walk around anywhere on your own and will have many birds to spot if you have a keen eye.
Behind the homestay is a large check dam in the river. When the water is clear and low, you can swim in it, it's only waist high.
Prema and Nitish, the hosts are very warm and welcoming. With the help of their staff they run the place with ease and make things available to you in no time. The food is perfect, home cooked meals which are full of flavour will make you want to have more and more. The toddy is also amazing, while it got over, Prema made sure we got more even in the afternoon. Their two daughters are a delight to have around as well.
The whole space is very easy to walk around and have your pets open and play in. There is enough space for 2-3 dogs. They also give dog food at the times when you want. The surprising part is that the rooms are beautiful, big and well furnished, something I don't find common in pet friendly places. The bed, mattress, seating is all excellent. Sitting in the room or out in the gazebo both have amazing views and calm breeze.
We also went for the ayurvedic massage nearby, the person also comes to the homestay if you want. This is authentic kerala ayurveda treatment place and is very helpful.

One of the best homestay and great hospitality. We were a group of eighteen people with mixed aged group and each one of us just loved the comfort, place, hospitality. Would recommend anyone who is planning to visit wayand. Worth a visit.

Peaceful place to stay amidst the lush greenery, away from the city. Food is amazing, hospitality is very good.

Aesthetic everywhere
Right from the rooms, landscape, cutlery everything is done very aesthetically. Owner Prema is a great host. Saumya is a great caretaker and cook. The owner is very flexible. They have 2 blocks of 2 adjustcent rooms. Close to the river. Delicious food. This is a centrally located place in waynad. Surrounded by paddy fields, coconut, beatal trees and coffee plants. We loved our stay here.

Nice ambience, beautiful cottage, perfect place for a family/group getaway. Good food, and amazing hospitality.

One of the best homestays that i have visited. Beautiful rooms and mouth watering food. We loved our stay and the river flowing next to the stay adds a beauty to this property. Private and safe, the host will make sure that the visitors "feel like home". Very friendly people. No complaints and No regrets. Will visit again for sure.
