Tamarind KTDC

This we had our Onasadya in Tamarind KTDC. Liked the place and it's ambience just as the sadya which was served.

Stayed for one night during a journey. Polite and courteous staff. Room though requires a little maintenance, is ok with clean toilets. Good for a halt during journey at affordable price. Restaurant available in the building and beer parlour in another building.

Good place to stay. Rooms are very affordable, a bit old but near and clean.
Update after 5 years:
Rooms are same as it was earlier, no proper maintenance. It's still very affordable but the state of the rooms leave a lot to be desired.

This is situated in Alappuzha Changanasherry road. Just 1 km away from changanasherry town. For a chilled beer at the midst of day and tranquility of mind. This place is soo calm and quiet. Food can be ordered from there itself and the Staffs are cordial. Parcel can be also taken. There's a good parking space too.

Typical KTDC setup with basic infrastructure adequate for a night stay. Good attached restaurant where food is prepared on order. Eventhough we checked in late by around 3 30 pm, had nice food in 45 minutes. We just stayed for a night enroute in our travel

One of the best KTDC Hotels in the state. Well maintained, calm and quiet place. Well disciplined staff with high integrity. Affordable price and good rooms.

Good AC and non-AC rooms at an affordable rate. Well situated near Changanacherry town on Allepey road. Has an associated Beer&Wine bar.

Good food, calm and peaceful ambience, cool atmosphere to rest a while in the hot summer during the long drive. Price affordable for a common man.

It is a government owned and you cannot expect great things. It has a restaurant which serves basic breakfast and lunch. So if you are driving via alleppey it is good place to stop and stretch your legs.good parking and basically clean toilets.

Cheap room with old school facilities.a bit of paint job has to be done.
Staff members are friendly (5stars to them)

The beer parlour is not at all good, a small hall with a counter and is fully noisy and not at all maintained.
