Food is good. We went there for food, not stay but as I wanted to see the rooms I went up and saw them.its ok.just fine.very basic.the staff I give them 5 Star.hospitality to best. Mr Saneesh who is there since 20 years was very good, great service.do were every staff

Located at about 5km from Kuttikkanam, KTDC Tamarind tamarind is one of the best hide outs you can find in Kerala. The chilling and calm atmosphere along with its green environment makes it an ideal stay. The food is tasty but costly. Rooms and dormitory facilities are available. Rates are slightly expensive but worth it. If you need budget rooms you can visit nearby hotels such as hotel bushland, where the stays and food are a bit more economic, but the atmosphere provided by KTDC Tamarind is only available there. Parking facilities are available. Food and newspapers are delivered to rooms. Staff are friendly and professional.

The place is quiet shabby and not renovated. Food is kind of ok but way too pricey. Not worth it. Only plus point about the hotel is it's location at the end of a small Lane.it's beautiful outside.but once inside u lose the charm it showed from outside.

Hotel is situated On a small hilltop and looks nice from outside. But once we entered did not feel like staying. It is situated midway between iduki and thekadi

Restaurent was a very bad experience.
Had to wait for almost an hour for food and food was not that great.

Located close to Peermade, KTDC as always offers a reliable guest house. It is situated in a nice green area and the rooms have large balconies that offer a great view. The breakfast is very nice, however, the rest of the meals aren't great. I wouldn't call this place ambient, but it's a natural, homely place. Great when you're on a budget.

Too costly and not worthy enough for money. Even food is charged with GST not in a printed invoice. The employees just note down the price and GST in a simple white paper

Good place to visit. Very calm and isolated place. Food is also very good and resonable price. Service is also very good. Lot of parking space and moreover very beautiful landscape.

Placed in a silent location. Could have been maintained better. Food was good but the menu was very limited.

Located at a pristine location, this hotel is a perfect layover while on your way through peermedu. It is not a luxury setup and this has many flaws. They could seriously work on the room ambience and also maintain it much better. But given that the room prices are very cheap I would recommend a short stay here.
The food is average in flavour but exorbitant in pricing. Chapati costs ₹20 while the average in the region is ₹10. The meals is fulfilling but here too, I prefer eating outside. You are spoilt for choices in the nearest town kuttikanam where the food is delicious and cheap. Avoid eating here but try getting a room.
