I do not recommend it for Arabs and families. The rooms are not clean and contain insects and the food is not good

Centrally located, well maintained property, courteous staff and excellent security staff! However i feels breakfast spread can be improved upon!

Great location by being in the middle of the city however extremely quiet owing to being slightly above the hustle and bustle. Front office and housekeeping staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are grand, clean and has the flavour of colonial building with wooden architecture woven in. Property is kept very clean despite it being green with plant variety.

Everything was good but food was not good try mutton biryani and tandoori chicken only rest is bad

Additionally, the property boasted a picturesque view, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the serene surroundings of Munnar. The only suggestion we have is to enhance the breakfast options to provide more variety. Overall, our stay at KTDC Tea County was delightful, and we highly recommend it for a memorable family vacation.

Room which I got was really disappointing and not very nice. The WiFi connection was the worse. Don't go to this place if you have meetings to attend or work involving internet. This place is still in 2000.

Nice resort near munnar town. Plenty of spaces to walk. Well maintained garden. Hospitality was awesome. But one thing is, it near to town not at all a quiet place. Otherwise it is a great place to stay.

Excellent breakfast. Large and well maintained property in heart of Munnar town. Rooms are clean and hygienic. Staffs are well trained and excellent service. Good parking space with security available 24 *7. Most recommended for family.

I had booked this hotel after seeing its reviews and I experienced the same in reality. Location is just perfect being in the centre of the town and at a height giving glimpse of entire Munnar. The rooms are spread over a vast area occupied by the Hotel each having a verandah in front and balcony in the back where you can enjoy the scenery around Munnar. It has beautifully maintained lawns and garden with different variety of flowers. The hotel staffs were very courteous and cooperative. The complimentary breakfast served was also nice. Overall a great experience and excited to visit again.

Very beautiful, large, well maintained property, in the heart of Munnar. The Premium rooms in the new block were great with superb views. The staff is very courteous, right from the security to the desk. The restaurant is very nice, with an excellent breakfast buffet and lunch. The a la carte we ordered was, unfortunately, just about ok. Avoid north Indian and stick to the south Indian items, which they are very good at. One star docked because of the ridiculous 3 pm check in 11 am check out time. They say it's is for Covid cleaning, but after paying premium prices, I'm not buying that.

This is one of the best resorts in Munnar. A really beautiful property spread across 8 acres hillock at the heart of Munnar town. Location is super prime and the ambience is great. The rooms have good amenities and the resort has a nice restuarant and a classy beer & wine parlour too. This property is well maintained and the service is awesome. The staff members are well mannered, courteous and polite.

I stayed at Tea county Munnar from 10th to 12th dec. 2021 with family. (Five rooms). Excellent stay. Courteous staff. Excellent hospitality. Good food. I strongly recommend Tea county Munnar.

Amazing place to stay in munnar. Only con is north Indian foods is very bad you simply can't eat it. So you'll have to search outside for food.

Good calm serene well maintained place. Located in the heart of the city. Good amenities clean rooms (strictly following the COVID protocols) and wash areas. Sleep quality was good. The staffs are very courteous. The restaurant department is worth mentioning, all items we ordered were too fresh and tasty. Good experience during our two days stay. One of the highest altitude resorts available for stay at Munnar. Staying amidst of Munnar town with the sight of buildings around did not seem very pleasing at our first sight. However, we planned to stay since the main idea was to enjoy the climate.
But the stay exceeded our expectations with regards to the climate, the amenities and the hospitality.
Pros: Well maintained property with regular maintenance going on. The rooms were constructed in old bunglow model and the architect did justice to it. The garden and the walkways are maintained beautifully, creating a feast for your eyes. Hospitality of the entire staff is excellent. The location is one of the best in Munnar. Being in the midst of Munnar town, you have the ease of access to shops and other tourist destinations and can explore different restaurents. Acces to the facility is much easier compared to the off-road rides you have to do to access most other resorts. There is a beer and wine parlour inside the property.
Cons: The food in general needs to be improved. They serve a variety of meals with good quantity (though a bit overpriced for a 4 star?). However the taste part lacks. You won't get that 'wow' feeling after tasting most of their dishes. But considering the other pros, it is not a major drawback, since you have a lot of options to explore nearby. Another drawback is their online booking system doest seems to be working fine. I booked via 'Agoda' app and I got a booking confirmation. However the front office informed that they did not receive any intimation or confirmation. Since rooms were available, I did not had other issues. But I suggest confirming directly with the property over the phone that the booking is actually made, before you arrive, especially during peak seasons.

Best place to stay in Munnar town. Many view points are very short distance from here. Great hospitality. The restaurant and dishes are awesome. Beer and wine parlor is there near to restaurant. It's not a crowded hotel, you will get good privacy and peace of mind inside. Enough parking space is there.

Everything is perfect except for kids. Nothing is arranged there for kids. There is a small area for kids park, but unable to use because of rust

Beautiful property with excellent lay out and garden in the centre of town. Maintenance and upkeep need a lot of improvements. For eg common toilet in reception not working and no light in lav. The room furnishing and joinery need polishing. Staff very courteous and helpful

The staff, the safety measures due to the covid situation, the rooms, the services, the accessibility, the compound- the whole experience- Fantastic! I will never think of staying in any other place in Munnar, when I come the next time.

Excellently maintained rooms, supportive staffs following covid protocol, tasty food served in resturant with room service option, internet with good connection, well maintained garden with various coloured flowers, children loved the stay and wanted to visit again soon.

The property is located at the heart of the town and makes popular eateries and other stores accessible. The staff were courteous and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. There is a play area with swing and slide for children. The breakfast was a buffet with homely taste. Overall good experience.

Excellent service and hospitality! Food was also very tasty and healthy just like home made food. The location was apt for sight seeing due to its easy accessibility. Beautiful landscaped cottages. Parking facilities was adequate.

Beautiful place to spend time with your family. Well maintained and spacious rooms. The restaurant food is good. However hot water in the bathroom is available only in the morning and evening bw 6 -10. Clothes given for laundry the previous day will be returned next day by late evening. The property is located in the city centre. Overall a nice place.

A safe place to stay in the times of Covid-19. Stay approved only after verification of vaccination certificate. Social distancing, well sanitized rooms and the food being served only to the rooms assures safety. Good rooms with balconies give a great view of the mountains and the sun-rise. The food is a bit costly. But, there are few good restaurants right in-front of this property. Peaceful ambience & recommended for families. The place is close to the market and the Bevco outlet as well, if that is also something that you look for. ;)

Best resort in Munnar. Try other hotels only if you don't get rooms here. If no rooms at Tea County, then try Clouds Valley. Though ambience cannot be compared, they also provide good service and quality rooms.

The location and the setting of Tea County is undescribableSo marvelous. The spacious room and the adjacent balcony to watch the mist capped mountains in the evenings were my fav when I've stayed there! The garden around the resort was eye-catching. See the snaps. I've enjoyed the delicious ethnic food (breakfast). Courteous, helpful staffs, ample parking lot with Security etc double the beauty of this resort. Visit Munnar but live there like a king in the palace - Tea County!

Excellent reception it was. Air was cool and sterile. Night was hypothermic. Morning breezy. Afternoon was warm. Evening fantastic. Restaurant receptive. No dip tea 2nd day. Costly though. Enjoyed it but not overwhelmed.

It is a heritage site of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation located at Munnar. It has about 39 cottages nicely furnished with comphy bed, room heater, a small sofa and a clean big bathroom.

It has a beautiful landscape with all local and traditional plants. It also has beautiful flower beds that makes your stay very much close to nature.

The restaurant serves fresh, hot, and tasty food. The staff is also very helpful and courteous. It is a must-stay location in Munnar.

I should say that the experience with KTDC was worth during our Munnar vacation.

The resort is at the top of a hill, view is good and the rooms were very spacious with all the necessary facilities. The resort is well maintained and the staffs are very supportive. There are ample parking facilities.

The resort have indoor games (billiards, table tennis, Foosball, etc).

The cottages were noise sealed and do have a spacious balcony. The rooms have wamer which is necessary during winter. The rooms are well insulated as well.

The restaurant is nice with good verities of food. Never expected such a high standard from KTDC group.

The hotel is close to the major spots in Munnar.

One of the better choices for good stay at Munnan. The property the service is good. The food is very good. The property is located in the heart of Munnar town.so to see the deep woods.wildlife and nature we may require to travel some distance from here.say an hour or so. An excellent resort in Munnar. It's my second visit after over a decade. They improved a lot in all areas. Best view rooms. Better maintained surrounding. Good food. Don't postpone your arrival here.

Beautiful location high in the Western Ghats. Wonderful walks, cooler and fresher than down on the coast. Very English feeling but exotic too. The legacy left behind by the British is fascinating. On my return to list.

They have gorgeous deluxe rooms and ambiance is breath taking. Well maintained resort and the staff is very helpful. You can also enjoy bicycle ride in the resort, it's free of cost. I wish I could stay one more day here.

Little older property nice landscaping furniture and TV needs bit of upgrade. Spacious rooms and courteous staff. Restaurant looks nice didnt eat there as we r pure veg; however staff kind enough to tell us food cooked together and not separately. Reasonable rates for villas and space to walk however not great scenic views as more expensive options around

Rooms are good. Campus is nice. Food is OK. However, gym, which is advertised as included within amenities, is non-functional. I found it offensive to advertise a facility that almost does not exist. They have an utterly ridiculous and silly method for wifi authentication that makes it extremely difficult to use it.

What a resort it was. What a view from my room. I was a bit skeptical about booking this resort but it was worth it.it surprised me with the view and the services. Morning breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. They provided more than asked.

Too close to the town centre with sounds of autos disturbing the peace. Otherwise wonderful rooms, services and food. Such helping staffs are rare in the Indian scene.

Good place for family vacation. More than 6 acres of land beautifully maintained. But lacks driver accommodation facility (only provide poor toilet facility. Atleast doormetry shall be provided)

All well accept KDHP company. On the name of Tea Factory and Museum, they loot tourist with an entrance fee of 125 Rs. In side there are few primitive machines and only powdered tea made with very unhygienic way.none other like white or green tea. They have a big store and are eager to sell you things at an expensive rate. Tourist should absolutely avoid this place. They claimed that they are owned by Tata. Kerala Tourism should take a note of these cheats.
