One of the best tea spot in Thrissur-Shornur Highway. Situated in the side of Highway.
They have only Veg items. Specially note it.
They have tea, juice, snacks and other chocolate items too. Parking is somewhat limited. They do accept payment as cash, Card and UPI. Nearby one Vegetarian restaurant is there.
A nice tea spot. Vanilla milkshake was soo good Chat items are tasty with good hygiene. Don’t have enough space for parking, a crowded place so its hard to get a parking space. Considering the quality, the price was reasonable
Visited here and had a chance to try their Masala Puri and coffee. The food was quite good; the Masala Puri was tasted. And the coffee was satisfying.
The place always seems to be crowded, which can make it a bit challenging to find a comfortable spot to sit. The sitting arrangements could definitely use some improvement, as there aren't many good options available.
One major issue I encountered during my visit was the presence of mosquitoes. It was quite bothersome and took away from the overall experience.
In summary, while the food is tasty, the crowded and uncomfortable seating, as well as the mosquito problem, detracted from the experience. It's a spot worth considering if you're in the area, but it might not be the best place for a relaxed outing.
Had visited here a couple of times but food here is just very blunt specially rolls, bread pakoda, veg pocket, cutlet etc. Also it's highly priced for that taste. Tea also not that good, very strong flavoured tea. Chaat items seems to be good. But other snacks is utter failure.
Tea kadai is a small tea stall located on the main road. The food is good and reasonably priced. We had tea, coffee, pani puri and dhai chaat. There are no seating, stand dining.
The tea kadai is one of the hot spot location for a quick bite. They also have different types of snacks ranging from chaats, malabari snacks, cheese maggi and so on. There also serve variety of hot & cold beverages. Tea was not strong enough, however loved it, taste wise was excellent. Slighly priced on a higher side. Definitely try it out if you are in the area. The vibe and crowd is something different from normal tea stalls. Customer Friendly, No seating options, stand & dine set up.f you planning to spend long hrs over a cup of tea or coffee then this is not the place.
The food is good and tasty. Some snacks are a bit oily. I had a bhel puri chat, it was filling and tastes good. The tea served here is one of the best in town. It's crowdy during peak hours, if you are an introvert avoid this at all costs. Friendly service, Except for the guy on chat service. He was a rude. Ambience is good but cleanliness not so much. There is litters all around. Good spot for friends and family get together. Tea is a must have. Note: This one is a pure veg joint
Went here and ordered Chicken Kheema pav and egg puff. Cashier took money, and forgot about puff. Asked him to pack it but he ignored. But got it thorough other person. Coming to taste the puff was oily way too oily, has to throw it away. Kheema pav was not worth 85rs, don't know why they charging off his much, are they exporting it from Mumbai? I am from Mumbai and it doesn't cost this much over there. Last time I had dahi kachori it was good, although it was bit more sweet for my taste.
Justifies the name. Tea kadai. Excellent tea with must try butter bun. Ah! It's the best after a tiresome day. Bit dirty and crowded during eve. But a nice vibe for a TEA
Went there seeing a video about them in Instagram. Felt good but only to know that most of the special bites already get over by "5"pm. So had to adjust with some other menu, which was pretty good actually. So if you want the full experience, get there earlier!
Tried their Mohabath ka Sarbath and Pani puri today. Absolutely loved both of them. Mohabath ka sharbath during the hot sunny days are just love! The only thing i would recommend is to increase their dinning space, atleast more chairs and standing tables!
Old one - A Better place to go and have coffee Edited - now I feel like it's just okayish if u wanna go there and have snacks or watev. I used to love the coffee being served and the pricing was decent but these days the coffee isn't worth the price charged (my personal experience) also the rest of the dishes too as I heard from my frnds.
19 th Oct 2022 will be my last visit to Tea kadai, Madurai vegetarian. From 20 th onwards they are going to serve non vegetarian dishes. Bidding goodbye to Tea kadai, Madurai vegetarian
Worst katchori ever had. Ordered a katchori chat and hot chocolate. Katchori chat was full of white channa. Never expected this. Worst ever. I saw many people just dumping tea and coffee on the street. When checked, the response was the worst tea and coffee was the reply. Hot chocolate was also not good. Burnt chocolate drink.
The best ever tea and snacks shop in thrissur. They serve with quality, taste and so proffesional. Banana fry served here is so tasty but take care of you fat whole the time. The crowd here is the only advertisement, nothing much required. There is also nkrth indian chat store with it. So you can take it with hygene rather than other out side chat stores. Highly recommended.
Not at all worth for the money. Once I had paneer biryani at the lockdown period which was charged Rs. 197 and was tasteless. Now today had virgin mojitos which was charged RS 126 including tax. Taste was so poor and even normal shops lime juice will be tastier than this for sure. Not recommended.
Our experience was good here. Im not sure about the tea or coffee served here, but the chaat center was wow. Tried Dahi puri and samosa chaat and it was perfect blend with north indian taste. Service was good and hygenic place. Parking is bit difficult as its always crowded during the evening time. Good for quick bites. Pricing was decent.
Just went there to have the much hyped Biscuit tea, I would not recommend that to anyone for 20 RS. Though I loved the Bombay cheese sandwich and Pani Puri served. Parking space is another real concern here.
Had ordered food through swiggy. Pav bhaji, Aloo Paratha and regular maggi (same name given in menu). Taste wise pav bhaji and Paratha was lip smacking good. But regular maggi was a huge disappointment as it was just plain maggi, which had an overpriced rate 50! C'mon ppl, we get better maggi even in high altitudes.
Awesome place. Try their Mini Breakfast. It wholesome breakfast you can get- a mini masala dosa, 1 idli, 1 Vada, Pongal, Kesari, Tea/Coffee. Madurai Restaurant in Thrissur is a wonderful restaurant for lip smacking delicacies.
The tea kadai is one of the best spot for a tea in Thrissur. They also have different types of snacks all time like North Indian and South Indian snacks. There are also different types of juices. There Pani puri and Panjabi samosa is one of my favourites. There staffs are polite, But the shop is not too spacious. It is located near the restaurant named Madurai vegetarian. I think it is also a part of Tea kadai.
This place has a great ambiance to spend some time in the evening for tea, snacks&chats. Snacks were good and the chats were really great with authentic North Indian style. A recommended place to visit
One of the best places in Thrissur for local (naadan) snacks. The place offers variety of juices, milkshakes, chaats as well, but I like the place for it’s tea and snacks.
One of our very favourite hangout spots. The delicacies ordered for our fastidious guests were well appreciated. Our special thanks are due to Chef, Mr Karan Singh and the proficient tea maker, Mr Venu. Keep up the wholesome quality, but ensure that the spiral rise in the prices is arrested as pointed out by many of your loyal customers. All the very best!
Samosa was the best. Chaats are also really good and in good quantity. Ferrero rocher milk shake was also good. Cold Horlicks too sweet and ullivada was not crispy and had too much maida compared to ulli. So that was a letdown. But samosa seriously was delicious. Parcelled an entire bunch to take home too!
We had ordered Sev puri and Dahi puri. The food was good with price being a bit on the higher side. 65 and 80 Rs respectively. The ordering process was fast. The person preparing the chat items had no idea what Sev puri. He was serving us Aalo chat instead of Sevpuri.when i mentioned him that, he was rude saying that what he is giving is sev puri and in Madurai Tea kadai Aalo chat is Sev puri. Also as I was suggesting him it's Aalo chat he poured the pani puri water into it. So if going here and you want sevpuri please show them a picture of Sevpuri and order it
