Best scenic spot in Vagamon. Vagamon Lake offers a peaceful boating experience. The area is perfect for enjoying a fun picnic with family and friends. Both Pedal Boats and rowing boats are available at very marginal ticket rates. The view from the boat is mesmerizing & peaceful.
It's also the best shooting spot. Must visit highly recommended place.visited in 2021. (lost photos)

Boating was a nice experience but time allotted is very less. The scenery while boating is literally a treat to the eyes.

Vagamon lake is one of the beautiful places to visit in Vagamon. It is a water body surrounded by lush green tea estates and hills. There is pedal boating facility available and life jackets are provided for your safety.

Tea Lake boating, the scenic beauty is amazing. Once we enter, we can climb the terrain. Climbing is through a narrow pathway between the tea plants and once you reach the top which is around 300 to 400mtr long, the view is awesome.
The lake adds further beauty to the landscape.
They have peddle boats which can be handled by yourself or request for a support staff which is a paid service apart from the ticket charges.
The landscape doesn't have anything special apart from the above mentioned.
The property is not that's maintained, however the natural beauty is something that doesn't require any maintenance.
The service staff are cool and helpful.
The road to reach the place is not maintained, so drive safely to reach out.
They provide life jacket before boarding the boat for safety and protection. It's available for kids and adults which is covered in the ticket.
There is enough parking after entrance and they charge for parking which is not properly maintained. I felt parking charges should be avoided once the family plans to purchase the tickets.
The proper tea estate is on the other side and the entry to that area is restricted to the public.
Looked like it's better maintained with restricted entry.
Additionally, there are no proper restaurants or shops nearby, so it's advisable to carry snacks and refreshment.
Overall the experience was okay.

Beautiful and pleasant location surrounded by tea plantation. Both pedal and rowing boats are available at nominal rate of Rs. 200 (cheaper when compared to other hill stations). It was good experience riding a row boaton our own for first time. Need to pay 50 extra for driver (if required).

Entry fee of 50 is charged just for sight seeing. Ample Parking space is available at free of cost. Only disadvantage is we have to wait for sometime until others complete their ride as there is only a few boats available.

Beware of leeches when you get in to tea plantations during rainy season.

I visited this place first time and it was totally great experience for me. The kind of beauty I have seen in videos, in reality it was more than that. I had enjoyed a lot. Would highly recommend to visit and explore.

It is a very beautiful place. I went when it was drizzling in the evening.thoroughly enjoyed. If you have a good camera, you can take a lot of photos. There is also a small park for children to play. Entry fee is Rs 50 per person. 50 rupees more if a helper is needed to row the boat

Nothing much to do. Just a small lake with very few row and pedal boats. Camera strictly not allowed which is quite annoying for a traveller to retain memories.

A small lake which was convertrd from paddy fields. Tea plantations surrounding it with a little bridge across and a house across. Beautiful to see and spend some time and take pictures. There is boating available.
Entry charges - 50 inr per person including boating.
If you want somebody to row the boat for you, 50 inr for the trip. Life jackets a re provided for all for the boat ride.

Some of the best moments of my life happened here. Moments of great joy.learned how to row a boat.the lake was not so deep and life jackets are provided so no need to worry.if you are not interested in rowing yourself you could ask for an expertise. If you are ever to visit wagamon you should try rowing here.

A small but beautiful lake. Boating facility is available. There is a small wooden bridge along the lake to cross. Its situated inside tea plantation which makes it even better.

One of the best place to Vagamon to relax yourself. There is a small bridge that connects a small house and the lake. A filim shooting location. I Prefer this place to everyone for relaxing in Summer

Its quite near to the town and there is a bit of offroading required to reach here
But its just a meagre 100 metres which was fine

There is also an old tractor kept here

This is one of the places in vagamon which no one should miss

Nice location and good boating experience. Staff are very friendly, but seems management is not looking into the place. They are are collecting around Rs. 20 for vehicle entry, roads entering to the place are damaged posing a high risk to damage the vehicle

This tea lake can be seen in many malayalam movies. There is something special on the small house seen on the lake side. And anouther one is that old tractor kept there. The entry fees is 10rs and Seprate amount for boating. Its a private property and still tea powder is producing is there.

One of the most beautiful place on vahanon. The wooden bridge and the structure after it and tea plantation as background give really a wonderful scene. Best destination for photographers

It's a nice place to visit in Vagamon. The place has an entry fees of Rs 10. The place provides for boating facility. They have pedal boats, rowing boats for 2,4, and bigger ones with 8-10 ppl capacity.
It's a good place for a evening visit with family They have a small children park for kids. One can enjoy the beauty of the lake and kids can play around the park.
View is ausome. Worth spending the evening basking in the sunset and pedalling the boat.

They have both kayak and 7-8 seater boats. Perfect place if you wanted to row the boat by yourself. Most of lakes they will not allow you to row. Nice view point, surrounded by tea estate. There is bridge connects parking and small house inside the estate. Perfect spot for outdoor shoot/couple shoot.

A small lake near vagamon town. Its very good place for family and friends and a nice area. Boating is available. We can spend one hour in the lake with boat. A boat of 7 person, 5 person and two persons are available with hourly rate. There is a wooden bridge across the lake into a house which based near a tea bushes.

Nice place to go early in the day or towards evening! Climate oscillates! 20 minutes is the time given for boating! Take the pedal boat else rowing will get you tired.

An early morning (7: 00 AM to 8: 00 AM) view of this lake is absolutely stunning. The water appears blue and this stands out from the lush green background formed by the tea bushes. You can experience a canoe ride or a small boat ride (manual ride only) here at affordable price. There is also a small bridge across the lake which is a perfect place for clicking photos.

Beautiful place in vagamon. It is surrounded by tea plantation. Boating charges is very high. Pedal boat, paddle boat, kayaking, etc are available.clean water and surrounding. Now it is well maintained. There is a wooden bridge across the lake. Bridge is nice to see in photos. Entry fee to this place is ten rupees. Two wheeler parking fee is also rupees ten.

It is a small artificial lake. We have provision for boating there. Even though it is small it will give you a wonderful experience. Wonderful ambiance. Please go through pics, i can't explain.

Also there are provisions like small children park, a wooden bridge, toilet facilities and parking facilities.

Vagamon boating places are blessed with beautiful nature. You can enjoy a ride in water where the lake is surrounded by either green lush of tea plantations or meadows or lovely green trees and open air. Vagamon tea lake boating is the most visited which is located close the Vagamon town. In addition, water balloon ride is offered in Vagamon Meadows Lake.

A very good experience with the family. Boats are available for different capacity from two people capacity for couples to 10 people capacity for family. Ticket rate is also cheap for half an hour boat ride. The tea plantations make the place more beautiful.

It was a nice and beautiful place for both families and friends. Most attractive thing is the boat services. Kayaking and boat rowing is the most attraction.leasure time can be spend here by adding some site seeing too.

It is a small lake. Boating facilities are available in the lake and the topography is really mesmerizing where we just sat and enjoyed the beauty of the nature and the kids had a nice time playing in the lawns. The pedal boats could be better maintained.

I visited the place yesterday (03/01/2019). Yesterday was hartal and the tea lake boating were not working like a normal day.
