Tea Terrace Vythiri

This is my second time visiting tea terrace vythiri and I can say undoubtedly say they do an absolutely wonderful job everytime. The cottages have a very quaint charm about them while being spotless. The place itself is a very unique experience to be staying amidst a tea garden overlooking the hills. The Sunsets and sunrises from the rooms were absolute stunners. Service was prompt and Ubaid has been a huge help during both my visits. The food tastes very home like and not restaurant types, which is what I personally prefer and I just loved that too. They're also expanding everytime with something new like rain dance and a pool wishing all the best to tea terrace for their future endeavours.
A personal suggestion would be to fix the approach road the last 1km is not an easy drive. And the food is on a slightly expensive side.
Otherwise a great experience, Sure to visit again.

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Vyithiri, the Tea Terrace is a true gem for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by sweeping vistas of lush tea plantations and mist-kissed mountains.

Superb location.i always was in awe with tea garden and this resort was right in the midst of tea garden.with an awesome view.though we were the only people staying during 3 days but Mr Umaid made all the arrangements with a smiling face.the breakfast arrangement was superb with authentic dishes from Kerala. Mr. Umaid accompanied us throughout the resort tour and also clicked our pictures. Must visit for everyone.

It was the best hospitality experience I had till date. I went there with my husband and stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. You don’t need to go anywhere once you reach there it’s so fresh and beautiful you will feel like staying there only and enjoy the nature. Staff and owner himself are very humble and polite and last the food is really awesome, you’ll get to eat authentic food.

Beautiful cottages in stunning location. A true boutique resort upto the mark. From the selection of tissue to the each decor of the room reflects refine taste and elegance of the humble and warm owner.
Food is freshly prepared on order, limited, authentic Kerala cuisine. Quite costly but sadly it's not upto the mark. However, everything else was absolutely fantastic. Their service was upto the mark with polite and efficient persons at service. We had a delightful stay at Tea Terrace. Make sure to book your stay in advance as it's always fulfilled.

Our 4-night stay at Tea Terrace Vythiri (TTV) was simply mesmerizing. The luxury Spanish cottages spread over seven-acres tea estate sets you in tranquility as you sit, relax and admire nature's beauty each moment at TTV - right from the rising sun, chirping birds, evergreen tea shrubs, artistic landscape, mountain peaks and then the sunset. Watching nature's bounty on TTV was really soothing for us and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. You can see the tea estate, coffee plantation at the backside of the resort and see various spice plantations. The resort’s partner Rafiq Sir makes you feel as if you are living in your own house and the staff, especially Ubaid, are very caring and always attentive to your needs. The chef prepared traditional dishes of Kerala for us, which we savoured every day and they tasted just as home cooked meals. The hospitality offered by Rafiq Sir himself throughout our stay was touching and he served us Sadya himself. The resort’s trusted driver-cum-guide, Sakeer, was with us throughout. In fact, he drove about 80 kms in the middle of the night in the hills to pick us up from Calicut airport at 4.30 am. As we cherished each moment of our stay, a visit to TTV is highly recommended to all. We promise, it will indeed be a once in a lifetime experience. We look forward to visiting the resort once again. The place is very beautiful and it’s well maintained and the food is authentic. The staffs were very friendly and helping and the climate there salubrious.what really set this room apart was the stunning view from the balcony.

Simply perfect place. Set up amidst tree plantation, this place offers you the best view to enjoy food, relax, read a book and what not…Awesome star gazing too…Hospitality, facilities was worth the money…They do not have many options in food as the location is really remote…Would really recommend if your plan is to simply spend all the time inside the property. Special mention to Ubaid for hosting.

A perfect gateway for the Nature lovers!

We loved our stay at the Tea Terrace Vythiri. It is truly a Tea Terrace amidst the lush green tea estates, one can feel the owners’ vision in creating this. The Owners and staff were so great and made us feel so welcome right from the start. The food was delicious and some of the best that we had. The Rooms are very nice and quite large. The music played by Raffiq was an amazing selection of tunes.

Thank you for making our stay so much fun, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this boutique resort to all those looking for a relaxing vacation.

To reach the resort it's definitely a roller coaster ride but once reach it was beautiful.

To see the actual beauty you need to set you alarm @5 in the morning.

Tea Terrace Vythiri, let me start with saying this place is HEAVEN! I had been here recently, actually this was my second time. And this time it was my with team. I am really great full and forever in debt to Mr. Rafiq and his team, who went all the extra mile to make our experience out of the world not just for me as a person who took his entire team there. But for every single team member of mine.

Let me start with saying that the booking and the planning of the vacation went really seamless. Rafiq was very co operative and supportive. He understood our needs and helped us with all the necessary arrangements. He literally customized the menu for us, for lunch, dinner and break fast to suit our crowd and to meet our preferences. He was very accommodating and ensured that everybody had a great time, he being the prime person of the property was actively involved in the kitchen to the front desk and what not! So BIG THANK YOU RAFIQ for this wonderful memory and experience.

Now, this was my visit post 5 years, last time I had been there was in 2017. Trust me, there isn't any difference with regards to the infrastructure it was very well maintained as how it was couple of years back. Ambience is more or less equal to a 5 star property. Property is VERY CLEAN and TIDY. Rooms are spacious overlooking the tea estate and this is a view you must wake up to. And, this property is actually on TOP OF A HILL. Enroute we noticed a beautiful hill and we dint know that we were getting on top of that. So I would give it a 5/5 for the stay, location and ambience.

Now coming to the FOOOOODDD! OMG, I could talk for hours about this. I had made a request to Rafiq, that the crowd traveling with me is not from Kerala and I really wanted them to get the taste of Authentic Kerala Sadhya. This was it, trust me! Rafiq ensured the team prepared Sadhya which was the best in the world to this date with over 20 varieties. Me being a bangalore born mallu, I have eaten Sadhya numerous times at various occasions in kerala and Bangalore but this was the BEST TO DATE! I really appreciate the efforts of Rafiq in making this a reality. Everybody from my team loved this experience and out of the world taste! So was the dinner. Food was just brilliant! They have a great chef in the team curating one of the best dishes.

Overall I would recommend this place to everybody! Experience here is just out of the world. My team and I went back to Bangalore with a lot of beautiful memories and experience.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Tea Terrace! It’s so peaceful and beautiful at this property; the rooms are spacious, clean, and well taken care of. The best part is the kindness of the staff, especially Mr. Ubaid who was so accommodating and even took us on a local nature walk! I hope to visit again in the future!
PS: One thing to note and helpful for foreign visitors to be aware of is that there is no wifi on site (not a problem for a peaceful getaway but can be difficult if you don’t have a local SIM and have travel logistics to manage).

Authentic tea estate experience is what we were looking for while planning our stay for 3 nights. This place fully met our expectations and gave us a memorable experience. The Spanish villa concept is superb and there are only 9 of these villas. Each of these is well ventilated with windows and two side open areas giving lush green tea estate view on all sides. The staff here is very sweet and polite. The food has local taste and healthy too. Most of the vegetables and spices are organic and easy on gut. Highly recommended.

P. S.if you are worried about last 0.5 kms steep road to this place, then call the property to guide you regarding drive. It’s totally worth it.

The owner of the resort himself was available in the resort when we went there. Yea terrace Vythiri will stay close to my heart because it gave us a lot of good memories with the ambience, home cooked food and the entire stay was amazingly given to us. They were very pleasing to get the menus from us for our lunch or dinner before hand and cook and give us. Each and every dish was like from our mothers hands (such a home cooked preparation). The room was exactly as in the pictures posted in Google by the resort team. There were some games also available in a separate room to play. It almost took 3-4 minutes for us to reach our room (just a nice cardio) in that chilling weather. Car parking facility was also very well planned and it was a complete homely stay for us. Highly recommended for families and couples, friendly and caring and trustworthy. Worth the money as well.

Super place to visit. But you can also get better place to see if you go to see lakkdi ka pool where you can stop your car and enter in tea state and can take pic and relax for a quite while.

Amazing place surrounded by natural beauty. Well maintained rooms, pavers, lighting, entertainment room add to the experience. Most important is hospitality exhibited by the staff specifically Rafiq and Ubed is unforgettable, they made us feel special. Will definitely recommend it his place for family outing and group outing.

It's a very nice place especially the view is soo good and there are lots of stuff to do in entertainment room, good food and staff but there are many leeches and worms there 1 leech bit me they told not to worry about it but still and the rooms looked not clean

We stayed there for one night only, but it was a fantastic experience the evening breeze, sound of a natural stream when you sleep and amazing morning view this was everything.

The location is quite remote with a steep climb, but we can reach there by car and it's worth it. Beautifully designed 9 coattges in middle of a tea garden, the rooms are designed in European style, it's well spacious 3,4 people can easily stay in a room, the view from the room was amazing we get long valley view, which is amazing.

The food was tasty and pocket friendly, we came with our 1 year boy and the management gave all his food as complimentary.

There is a view point and stream point, but we visited the stream was narrow, and other than that there is nothing else to do, but if you are looking for a relaxed weekend or want to getaway from all the chaos from the city life this is a perfect spot, there is no shops nearby so you have to take everything before reach there, and Mr. Ubaid is of great help, he will also assist you for your needs. Also, we were the only people staying there in that specific date but the management helped us of our needs. There is no wifi in the spot but mobile data is available so you can work from here also.

It's a secluded resort for those of you who want to go off grid and feel the natural. It is a tea estate cum resort. On one side of the resort is a beautiful water fall and stream flowing from it. The view from the room are breathtaking. It dsnt hv a resturant but food is very tasty.it has a activity room to read or okay TT and other games, in case u just wana stay in property and feel the nature. Be careful of the leeches during rainy season.

We had been here last weekend. Must say that this was one of the most memorable places I have stayed in. Beautiful estate, views and people. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm. They made sure they made us comfortable in every possible way. The food was simple and nice. Will surely want to go back here again and hopefully soon.

Tea terrace is the excellent place to stay wayanad.very peaceful and beautiful location, the cottages are within a tea estate and the view is very refreshing, sounds of birds and stream. It is the heaven for nature lovers. The cottage is very beautiful, neat and clean. The cottages are classy and maintained well. Simple and great food. Amazing place for a gateway. Beautiful views, great hospitality from staff, well maintained rooms. Away from hustle bustle pf the city, serene environment where one wakes up to chirping birds, foggy mountain peak and sound of stream of running water.heaven for natire lovers!

One of the peaceful and beautiful resort in the middle of tea plantation. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hospitality and the behavior of all the staff were really nice. Food is good but complimentary breakfast was just okay. And the main problem is there is no pool, but the place is mesmerizing

And yeah, travel out of the resort and get to the city is bit difficult.
But we really enjoyed the stay. It was one awesome trip to remember. Calmness at its best!

Pros: Superb location, staff (Mr. Ubaid) very humble, food quality very good, cleanliness. Cons: Insects everywhere you will find leeches during raining season, no room services.

Wow! Tea terrace is undoubtedly the best paradise on nature's lap. Picturesque landscape, mountains at the backdrop, streams, villa surrounded by Tea Gardens, well-maintained rooms facilities provides you the perfect way to relax on your Holiday. Courteous and polite staff is another comfort you get here. Mr Saneesh, Ubaid and Atul are the best guide/support staff that you can ask for. This was the best resort experience we ever had. A bit difficult to reach but that makes it all the more worthwhile. Amazing location and superb facilities and cleanliness. Sanesh and Ubaid are doing wonderful job. The last 900 meters in resort's bolero is worth making a video.

Reaching here is bit challenging, but once you reach there, it is amazing place to be. Cottages are clean and with beautiful surroundings. Food is also good. Looking at where the property is, it is really value for money!

Advantage:
1) Silent places who can stay away from stress and depression.
2) Eyes cooling views.
3) Awesome room construction especially green tea house.
Disadvantage:
1) No room services for food.
2) Reptiles especially I saw a snake
3) Lunch and dinner cost too expensive compared to what they offer.

We loved this place. Its very beautiful and scenic. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Food is simply awesome. The last 1km road gives you the pleasure of an adventure trip. Go for it if you love the nature and stay in calm and quite tea estate.

This is one of the best getaway resort in Wayanad. You'll enjoy extreme privacy in your cottage. The cottages are really classy and maintained well. The staffs are also very good. The view from the room is mesmerizing too. The road to reach this place is a bit tough. If youre driving a small car without ground clearence they will pick you up in thier vehicle and park your car safely.

Our Stay at Tea Terrace Vythri was excellent. We were on 2 days trip to Wayanad. The road towards the resort was not good but as soon as I reached at the resort I was mesmerized by it's ambience and scenic beauty. Location was too good. Hospitality and behaviour of all the staff was really nice and special mention of Mr. Ubaid.

I really loved the place and looking forward to visit again. And I will surly recommend the place to others as well.

Must visit for serenity and peace. Reaching out to the resort is a problem. But once reached it's another world. Nice food and hospitality.

Awesome location, very polite staff Clince, satnesh and one more, good and huge rooms, I loved the living space and the backyard which opens to the tea gardens and jungle behind that. It's a fixed menu for food but all items were nice and freshly made.
A tiny live stream just behind the resort, they have rabbits and kids wud love them. Entertainment room has almost all indoor and a few outdoor games too. A good collection of books which u can read while your stay. Bon fire is arranged on request and that's complimentary.

The only pain point is reaching this place, u might only reach around lunch time. But all that is worth the stay.
